“Food is very yummy. Chimken mmmmmm. Pretty much anything you can get is good. The grilled chicken the fried chicken the lemonade the shakes the fries. All super yum zone. The service is fine. Quick and pleasant. Nothing amazing but doesn't need to be. The atmosphere is eh. Eating inside is only good if you're with friends. Otherwise it's a little sad watching AtmosphereTV show AI generated clips on your own.“

“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“This place is awesome. The lunch quarter chicken is my go to. I love onions, and their sauce bar is loaded with different onion options. I honestly just call it the onion bar, and it's one of my favorite parts of eating here. The food is always flavorful, the service is fast, and the prices are hard to beat. If you're looking for a delicious meal at a great value, I can't recommend this place enough.“

“Dave’s Hot Chicken is definitely worth the visit! The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning and spice levels were on point, and the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries and dipping sauce were also delicious and paired perfectly with the chicken.

The service was friendly and the overall atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive.

“I called for a takeout order. The employee was extremely helpful on the phone. Her customer service for the order and pickup was excellent!! “This was our first time trying Dave's. We tried two tenders, fries, and a mozzarella stick, heat level varying from mild to hot. The tenders and mozzarella stick were amazing, possibly the best quality chicken tenders we've ever had. We were a bit disappointed with the heat level. Everything tasted delicious but none of it was spicy, there was more sweet for sure. Still delicious and we’ll definitely be back and will have to try the hotter options.“

“Our family of 5 flew in from Alaska to spend Thanksgiving holiday with family and our first stop was Chick-fil-a. Our favorite sandwich is the grilled chicken sandwich but it has to have the honey roasted bbq sauce. When we pulled into the drive-thru we were so sad to find out they were out of HRBBQ. We told Janiah this was our first stop and we’d been looking forward to our visit all day. A few minutes later she can back to our car with a baggie of hrbbq. We were so excited and made a wonderful end to a long day of travel. THANKS JANIAH!!“

“Family was visiting from out of town last week, so we placed a large to‑go order at the Pollo Tropical in Sanford. When it came time to pay, our debit card kept getting rejected, even after the staff tried multiple registers and attempted to split the payment.

We were about to remove items to pay in cash when the manager, Pedro, explained there was a software glitch preventing debit card payments over $50. He immediately stepped in and discounted our order by 35%, which allowed us to get everything we needed.

With a little patience and understanding, what could have been a frustrating situation turned into a positive experience. Our whole family was extremely grateful for Pedro’s help and the Sanford team’s effort to make things right.“

I had to thank them, for a job well done before I left the restaurant! “Great location and it's hardly ever busy I feel like it's overlooked since its the newest location in the area. But that doesn't mean it's inferior. I think it is probably the better of the 2 locations in Sanford. Staff is friendly service is quick and accurate and the restaurant is always spotless. I'm in the area frequently for work and I always choose to stop here rather than the other. I am never able to stay and eat but it I did I would definitely sit outside there patio is very nice and always clean with plenty of tables. This is a great Chick Fila location and great far anyone.“
