“Pros:This place is right on my way home from work usually. So ordering ahead and picking up the occasional indulgent dinner is so easy and so delicious. The interior of these franchises are always decorated with beautiful murals, giving you something to look at while you're eating and/or waiting for you to-go. Service is always on point, "FIRE!"The food is always on point, and this place was one of the original places that took sushi to other levels, AKA the beautiful deep-fried sushi burrito. Cons:There aren't a lot of cons. This place is pretty great. They definitely only have a 50% success rate of making sure we get our right sauces in to-go orders, which really bums me out.Tips:The deep-fried sushi burrito, for sure. Also, rice tots and s'mores beignets. Yummm.“
“I would give the experience at Soseki a 4.5/5. The service was impeccable; attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly: 5/5. The atmosphere was a 4.5/5 because I felt the music was a little too loud to converse with my partner at times. I give the food a 4.5/5 because it was locally and internationally sourced showcasing the wonderful and vibrant flavors of Central Florida and Japan; however, during one of the nigiri portions, my partner had a rather large fishbone that got caught in their throat. Otherwise, it was an exquisite experience, of which I commend the chefs and the staff, especially for the detailed seating arrangement I requested. This experience is worth the price of admission.“
“Wonderful experience. Came here for our daughter's birthday and was not disappointed. Sato was an engaging chef and Lynn the waitress was phenomenal. Food was delicious and portions were enormous. The kids loved the fish pond and ability to feed them. Will definitely be back.“
“It’s our go-to date night. The sake-tini is the most delicious drink, always with a seasonal flavor. Servers are always wonderful, and one night my hubby asked the server to “Bring us your three favorite things off the menu” I was so nervous but it was wonderful to try something I wouldn’t have, and it was delicious. Love this place!“
“Love this Korean eatery with clean, easy to choose, customizable, awesome, healthy, make your own bowl, and plenty of food choices!! Vegans, vegetarians and carnivores all welcomed! Don’t miss this delicious food spot ?????????Parking: This place is tucked away in a corner and easy to miss the entry point. Look for it!“
“Kadence is a dinning experience like no other! The food is incredible and the service is exceptional. Hands down the best sushi and meal experience I have ever had!You park in front of the unmarked black building and walk into a small bar area where you can enjoy some sake before your dinner experience.Next you move into the dining room which seats 8 guests. This is where you will enjoy the multi-course chef selected menu with the highest quality seafood. Each course is beautifully plated. You can ask the chef questions as he prepares each sashimi and explains the fish selection. Your mouth will explode with delight! We were also gifted a take home bag with breakfast for the morning! They were able to accommodate a salmon allergy for someone in our part. We communicated the allergy in advance via email.Reservations are required and they book well in advance, so plan ahead. You won't regret it!“
“This was one of the best sushi restaurants in Orlando! The atmosphere, food, and service were all top notch. We ordered the sushi tower and a few extra rolls; and, they were all FANTASTIC. Their selection of rolls were fantastic and all within reason. A must visit in Baldwin Park!!!“
“Tam was amazing!I recently visited exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was elegant yet cozy, setting the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu offered a wide array of authentic Japanese dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I savored every bite of the sushi, sashimi, and tempura, each dish showcasing the chef's impeccable skills and attention to detail.Thank you!“
“I visit Orlando for the weekend and I was lucky enough to find this little treasure on the city.My fiancé and I were amazed, not only the service was so nice and kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. The Ramen we had was way above our expectations. The noodles were absolutely delicious and the overall exquisite. Can't wait to be back.“
“Love me some Ootoya Sushi, I enjoy the ability to order online as it is highly convenient to watch your favorite show and eat your favorite sushi. The quality remains consistent with take out, and they promptly prepare and send your order, which is critical when the order includes tempura veggies + panko fried rolls. Ootoya offer a very attractive sushi menu, I've tried several and so far all have been delicious. High recommended“
“This is a really small ramen restaurant that's great for a quick lunch. I ate the spicy miso ramen which can come in a variety of spice levels. The waitresses were very nice and quick. It didn't take long for my meal to come out. I did have to order my egg added on. The ramen was pretty good. This is definitely a great place to go alone or with a friend. They most likely cannot accommodate a party larger than 4.“
“Jacksonville University Softball - Can in for lunch with 31 people before our game today. Had exceptional service that was efficiency and well organized. The staff was fantastic and the food was even better! Definitely a spot we will visit again when down here in Orlando!“
“The location, food, service (our server was Olivia and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING✨), playlist and ambience were incredible! I would highly recommend if you’re seeking delicious food and fantastic music! However, be sure to make a reservation because it gets busy during the weekends.“
“Wow I can't believe I have passed this place for years! Absolutely a hole in the wall hidden gem in casselberry. Small and cozy. Dimly lit. Relaxing ambiance. It was fairly quiet when we went but not crowded at all. They seem to have daily specials that rotate to keep things fresh. What really sets this restaurant above the other sushi spots is their selection! They have a wide variety of fish to choose from. This is absolutely a sashimi and nigiri lover spot. They do offer omakase too! Me and my friend got 3 starters. Raw wasabi octopus, super fresh. Beautiful balanced wasabi flavor. And I got the jalapeno hamachi. It was topped with caviar cilantro and ponzu. It was delicious I had a hard time taking it slow and savoring it. And the shitake sauteed in butter. Such a simple flavor but they were really good mushrooms. We did 3 rolls. Samurai, futomaki and a spicy tuna roll. Their spicy tuna roll was easily the top 3 best I've ever had. So fresh and clean tasting. You could definitely notice the tuna quality shine through which really impressed us for something so "simple"The futomaki was good, but there might have been TOO much going on. And despite all that was in there. The only flavor that shines through was crab oddly enough. If you love crab flavor you will enjoy it. Then the samurai topped with tempura eel and tuna inside. Very fresh tasty. Our server was Emma and she was wonderful! Super attentive and very helpful with any questions and recommendations we might have had. We picked almost all her recommendations and all of them were excellent.Glad I know about this spot now and I can't wait to come back!“
“The place is so cute with all the cute characters around the wall, and the place is ALWAYS clean. They service is always so sweet and understanding to us. The crepes are the most delicious things ever, and they always put a smile on my face. The Boba drink is so delightful. This place I've been going to ever since I was 8 and I'm 12, so for 4 years of this nice work. I never doubt this place. I definitely recommend you come too.“
“My husband & I stopped in with no reservation around 6 last Friday and the bar was fully open to take a seat right away! We ordered steam gyoza for an appetizer, then continued on with the Nigiri & Sashimi Combo plus a TNT Lover roll and that was plenty for the two of us. Everything was so yummy and came out pretty quickly. Our server was May and she was so kind & I loved getting to chat sushi with her at the end of the meal. We love this place and will definitely be back!“
“Each visit has been great! The gentleman who served us has always been nothing but accommodating and informative with updates to their menu. We visited last on Valentine's Day as a last minute decision and it sure was busy but this guy did the absolute best he could on a slammed night! There were upset UberEats drivers and one incredibly rude and disrespectful customer at a table but he was able to juggle and manage them all with [the appearance of] ease. He has my respect as he handled everything professionally and politely. We will definitely be back and support their restaurant! He also told us the sushi chef studied in Japan to learn those skills so that makes everything worth it because it's authentic! 12/10 highly recommend. ? 食物很好吃! ?Parking: The parking lot is shared with the rest of the plaza but isn't normally hard to find somewhere to park. It can fill up fairly quick in the evenings though.“
“Only rating the sushi, not the chinese food as i havent had that yet. But the sushi is the best value i have found by far!!Its real close to as good as the best sushi in the area for a fraction of the price. Also, support local businesses, family owned and operated! No place id rather go!!“
“I am not one to write reviews but Fuji Sushi well deserves it! The place is a combination of traditional and cozy in the same time, the service is exceptional and the food is AMAZING! I could not stop eating. I think i tried almost the entire menu. For sure I'll be back!“
“10/10 ramen & udon!! ? Chill vibes and nice atmosphere, clean facility and good service! Staff were helpful in choosing what to try. Portions are perfect size. High chairs available, seating enough for groups of 4 max I’d say. A hole in the wall gem!!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, lots of menu options.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available right out front“
“The sashimi is FRESH. Good slices at reasonable value. I ordered the sashimi assortment. The Kirin draft was cold. Overall I really enjoyed eating here. I wish I had a bigger appetite as the sushi served at all the tables looked AMAZING!!Peter and Douglas were excellent friendly servers.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS JAPANESE RESTAURANT.“
“Easily a top sushi restaurant in Orlando. The price vs quality makes it an easy favorite. I go for the cuts of fish and a few traditional rolls and a few other extras and are worth noting.1. The salmon and yellow tail sashimi is a quality piece of fish and the temperature is always spot on. Also, the cuts are representative of skills sushi experts.2. The crunchy rice tuna appetizer that’s NOT on the menu is a great mix of puréed tuna and toppings over a crunch rice pad. If you get this with the edamame it’s almost a meal in and of itself. The edamame is just ok, but we get it anyway and add a splash of soy sauce.3. The yummy roll is the fancy roll we typically get along with an OG roll like spicey tuna or spicy spider. Their spicey tuna mix is used as a base for many rolls and is one of the better bases making lots of rolls awesome of just a simple Spicey tuna roll spectacular.4. The new environment is nice. A lot more room and easier to get served compared to the old one right on 434.We rate this a top sushi spot for quality, service, and atmosphere.“
“Place is amazing, atmosphere is top notch, and it is attached to the MALL!!!! If you have a date night? Start here. Go see a movie afterwards. It’s within steps!!!!! From the host, to the desert, amazing time, food, and experience. Grace, (our server) was super attentive, and treated us like royalty. Wasabi, (our chef) was amazing, kept everyone involved, and hilarious. You may try other “Japanese steakhouses” in Central Florida, but this was top notch.Dietary restrictions: Will accommodate anyone and everyone. Food is per request.Kid-friendliness: They LOVE kids there! And cater to them.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessed in, and out.“
“absolutely awesome sushi, dare i say some of the best i've ever had! it's been a few years since visiting this restaurant and the food knocked my socks off!! i'll admit it's on the pricier side but i don't come here but on special occasions, and i do think you get what you pay for. i got the krab rangoons, fried cheesecake (both super crunchy!), and the walk on mars roll. it was my first time trying conch and it was just spectacular. hands down some of my favorite sushi i've had in florida. our waiter was extremely kind and attentive as well. 10/10 would definitely come back <3“
“I've been in Orlando for a few years now and this was my first time here. Lots of sushi options around but I was VERY happy with this restaurant! Absolutely the most inexpensive sushi I've had since moving here. I'm not sure how it wasn't super busy but the food was great, fast, inexpensive, and the service was on point. 10/10 would come back.“
“I went here with a group of friends for a birthday and I really enjoyed it. They were pretty busy on a Saturday night and our group of 8 still got seated right away because they pushed some tables together. The menu had a lot of options and I decided to get the bulgogi entree. It came with the soup and salad both of which I really enjoyed. The entree itself was really good and a good portion size. It had lots of onions. My friend got the bulgogi bento box which was more expensive but came with a lot more food. It was probably enough food to share for two. Some of my other friends ordered sushi (tuna tataki) and fried rice, both of which they really enjoyed. We were all satisfied with their meals. The restaurant is pretty tiny inside, but it is clean, decorative, and vibey. Our waiter was very nice and attentive to us the whole time, constantly refilling our waters and asking if we needed anything. He informed us on good menu options too.Overall, great experience here and I would definitely visit again!“
“DO NOT RECOMMEND this narcissistic ran business!!! Never have I ever felt more disrespected than today 4/30/22 from an employee at Yabi that had the audacity to call me a liar when I called to explain to them that they didn’t give me the rolls I ordered. I order shrimp, krab, and salmon rolls. What I got was 2 salmon and 1 krab. My kid started eating from it not realizing what I had ordered until most of it was gone but this was the remainders of each row/set. No shrimp pictured. They asked me to send them a picture and they still are telling me I am a liar. And if I don’t like it why did I eat it. I never said I didn’t like the food or that my child didn’t, I am simply stating that I got two of one roll and not my shrimp. Simple. Instead I get called a liar?! This narcissistic ran business will never get another penny from me and I was a regular. I should’ve known something was off about this place when I overheard other customers complaining out front about their workers not washing their hands or changing gloves. Absolutely unbelievable how much gaslighting this employee. Telling me to bring back the whole plate after I said that’s all that’s remaining…& he would give me a $100 but I can’t now can I because it was eaten. Like wtf is wrong with people?!?“
“Had a great meal with my family, the food was excellent! Service was a little lacking. I think they was over whelmed with the response to their opening reviews being so positive that everyone wanted today to be the day they found out for themselves how good the food was and showed up. Over all the think experience was positive, i see them growing into their role as the place to go for great food and excellent service!Parking: front spaces are limited because it shares parking with other businesses, but there is more parking behind the buildings with handicap parking in the rear and 1 in the front.Wheelchair accessibility: it is wheelchair accessible with some limitans inside. but can make it work.“
“This was my first order from here and I’ve only waited this long because they’ve been closed for previous orders I wanted to place. The Chap Chae is SO GOOD. Our sushi was fresh and made with care.Kid-friendliness: I didn’t eat in but I would definitely take my kids there.“
“A Taste of Japan in Orlando! This sushi spot in is a hidden gem of the city. The sushi is not just food; it's an experience that transports you to Japan with every bite. Huge thanks to the amazing Japanese chef for creating such delicious dishes that made my taste buds dance. It's more than a meal; it's a memory in the making! Clean, cozy, a lot of space + outdoor. Also amazing, one of a kind staff. FRESH FISH and seafood. Yes its doesn’t look like fancy restaurant, but dishes are fantastic and price is really good! You have parking lot, 2 restrooms.Highly recommend! Thank you guys for amazing hospitality ✨??“
“This is my favorite Chinese food. (Or Japanese idk) it's the best. And they give huge portions. Been going here for years and the people are very nice. I little tip, if you ask for the food to go it seems like a slightly bigger portion size. Just saying. Sadly it's in a dying mall and the next nearby one is all the way in Orlando.“
“I have been eating at Kobe for 30 years and have always been a huge fan. My family introduced me to the Altamonte location when I was a child, but I found myself preferring the Longwood location the most. It's my go to spot for celebrations. If you haven't tried the chicken tempura.....you really should. Get a side of terriaki with it. You'll thank me later.“
“This place is just remarkable!!! From the staff to the quality of food. Cool environment, great service from the host to the server. The kids menu was like not like other kids menu. It was a mini adult portion. Our food was simply delicious! And, I loved how the kids food came out ecstatically appealing. Love the attention to details and this restaurant deserves more stars, applause!!“
“Umi is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. The sushi never disappoints and they always accommodate our party size. The only negative thing I have to say is the food does take awhile to come out but other than that it's an amazing restaurant to eat at!“
“Greatest fried rice in Orlando. Very friendly staff and very efficient. I've tried a few different menu items and they've all been superb. So glad I found this place. Better and more bang for your buck than Panda Express. Thank you. Will definitely be back.“
“Great local hidden gem. Authentic, delicious Japanese cuisine served up by friendly staff. The Ramen is made with simple, high quality ingredients and is a must try. They have great happy hour specials too. It has become a regular spot for us.“
“We love Maru. They have so many good ideas for their rolls and the food is just so well made. I haven’t had a single meal there that was less than excellent. It’s also just a comfortable place…some restaurants just welcome a slower pace and this is a cozy spot.“
“Don’t shy away from this hole in the wall family business because of mixed reviews, you can’t satisfy those who can’t be satisfied. I am one of those people who cannot be satisfied half the time, but open the doors and give it a try!I pulled up to the location with question marks all over the air as my spouse wanted to try this spot for sushi but the looks on the outside wasn’t screaming “fine establishment”. Contemplated going in but figured not to judge a book by its cover and if we didn’t like it, to treat it as a learning lesson.Need less to say I’m here with a good review for a good reason. We started with soups (egg drop and wonton) , probably the best egg drop soup I’ve ever had. The portion was delicate but worth the price. We picked an assortment of 4 different sushi rolls including the house specialty “adreanne” which turned out to be my favorite with a wonderful blend of savory, sweet, and a little salty from the soy sauce. Overall spent $55 + $15 tip and was well worth for a quick but delicious sushi lunch.I will definitely be going back to try out the loveboat for two which sadly we didn’t get to see. 9/10 would recommend, atmosphere is warming but could use a touch more of Japanese culture.“
“Took most of my boy’s 10 year old baseball team there after a long day on the field. Could not have asked for a better place. The boys (and one sister) had fun, had great food and even got to try some Japanese sodas. We very much appreciate the hospitality.“
“Tokyo Tapas never disappoints. I have never had a bad meal from them. I always get the hibachi chicken and it's always so juicy and tender. I especially love the steam veggies. They're only take out and very quick after you place your order.“
“Food: 10/10: always hot ? and fresh! Huge variety to choose from!Service: 10/10: always exceptional service. We go monthly and always exceptional!Atmosphere: 8/10: Lots of space and can see them make sushi ? rolls. Slight downside was the place is a bit dated and seating is uncomfortable!Still highly recommend going and experience their delicious foods and service!“
“I always order online and my food is ready and packaged by the time they say it is. Quality is consistently good and staff is always friendly when picking up my food.Chicken and sushi dishes are exactly as described and have large portion sizes.“
“Always enjoy visiting. Great lunch value menu! Usually go with a bento box or the 2 - 3 sushi roll deal. Food is always delicious. Sushi chefs stay busy the whole time preparing all the sushi/sashimi fish fresh in front of house. The servers are very efficient and they tend to share tables so when one is busy at another table the other will come wait on your table.Good portions on the dishes that I've tried. The tempura is sensational... that's my wife's go to!“
“Absolutely delicious. The ‘party in my mouth bowl’ was good I would order it again 100%. I would also recommend ordering to go if you decide to customize a bowl, it’s just easier to choose ingredients that way. One thing I should’ve done was choose a small instead of regular, they filled it up to the brim. Delicious!“
“Visit was a few weeks ago. Enjoyed this place. I was surprised at the flavor of the rice. Reminded me of home a little in the Midwest. Not loaded with a bunch of veggies which for me changes the flavor profile. I really enjoyed this and it was reasonably priced for the amount they serve. I was a little disappointed with my milk slush. The flavor was there however, it was a lot of larger ice chunks that hadn't been blended well. Made the drink a little watery after a while. I am happy they are putting one closer to my house, so I will go again. Parking is a little hectic here.Parking: Very busy strip plaza. Parking can be difficult. I believe we circled around three times this visit but the food is worth it.“
“Food is just fantastic and you get generous portions and the price is still reasonable, bonus! Inside dining is avg. Really setup to take out or drive thru. Oh, their white sauce is great if you order the combo plates, and you get plenty (2), but you can order extra for extra $, if you feel you need it. I found one extra was plenty to drown everything in white sauce, lol. Enjoy! P.s. Their sushi is great too. Really can't miss. And I love those pot stickers (they call them something else, but they know what you're saying).“
“UPDATE 3.12.24- I heard the former owner was gone and its cleaner and the food is better so I gave it a try again and 10/10 it didn't dissapoint and its way cleaner and brighter inside. The hibachi was 10000% on point and way better than Kobe's in my opinion and the portions appear bigger then the former owner.Has gone down hill bad, even these portions are smaller I just literally ordered a piece of cheese cake and it's frozen, who serves frozen cheesecake? Update* attempted to try again, and it was lunch time saw baby bottles on top of the bar and in front of the bar a crying child left unattended and the child cried for several minutes, my food was sooooo terrible and the egg drop soup was inedible and I will never return, it used to be soooo amazing sooo sad :( Let's now add how terrible the landscaping looks“
“The first time I went here, I was on a date. The food was fullfiling and delicious perfect portion. The service was great they made sure we were good. Only 2 rolls so much food. The 2nd time I went, the roll was not even half of what I got the first time. I was with a different person, a family member. I ordered the same thing. Service was not like the 1st time I was disappointed and confused as to how the server didn't know the menu or what I'm asking for. Still, food was good, just not like the first. The 3rd time I was seeking the same roll I ordered the first time. But the person I was with, family ordered 6 rolls. The server had no clue what I was asking for, but they tried. They were diligent with trying yo figure it out. Still food was good.In comparison to the 1st time. I almost feel like there was some type of favoritism with the person(familiar) I was with or something else. I have experienced this same biased behavior at other Asian restaurants that are owned and run by Asian. They go all out for familiar. Is this a cultural thing? Is it just a coincidence? I don't know.I lived in Korea for a year, and food was always delicious, and in abundance, the service was great. but then again, I always had my friends with me, who were Korean, when we went out to eat.I'm definitely going back because of variety and taste. Now I'm on a mission to find the roll I ordered the first time I went and determined to become the familiar that gets that favoritism treatment. LolIt's a positive atmosphere clean. It's not glamed up, but it's clean. Smells great.Vegetarian options: Garlic edamame“
“The Food was Amazing as advertised! It's hard to describe a taste Explosion in your mouth while experiencing different flavor combinations in each bite! The menu is extensive & there are endless ways to surprise your palate. They were out of the Hot Cheetos so we each built our own burritos & we all had a uniquely Fantastic result. We shared bites of each burrito - All Delicious & different. The Krab Rangoon Bites was a Tasty surprise as well. You Gotta Go Check It Out! Cheers!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible“
“most delicious sushi! the tuna could not be more fresh, also they give generous servings. Their krab rangoon is the best, better than any chinese place we’ve had them from. The staff here is so friendly, helpful and attentive. Can not recommend this spot enough! :)“
