“The food at Sarku Japan is very good, especially if you're a fan of fresh hibachi-style dishes. The flavors are satisfying, and the portions are generous for the price. However, the location being inside Altamonte Mall is a bit of a drawback. You have to order from the food court and eat at the shared mall seating area, which can sometimes be crowded or lack the ambiance of a standalone restaurant. Despite this, the quality of the food makes it worth it, and it's a solid choice if you're at the mall and looking for a tasty meal.“

“We have been going to Kobe Steakhouse for several years. Each time we go it has been a great experience. The food is wonderful and the staff are amazing. For the past 20 years we have requested Chef Fuji. He is so fun and really engages with everyone. Chef Fuji always gives us a 5 star experience! I can't leave a review without also mentioning a server who we almost always get, Kevin. He does such a wonderful job and always makes us laugh. Tonight was our sons 21st birthday and the staff, as always, made it a wonderful memory. I can't recommend Kobe Steakhouse enough.“

The presentation was beautiful, and the interactive grilling experience made the meal even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every bite was delicious, and the portions were satisfying. “We had a great dining experience, thanks to the exceptional service and beautifully presented dishes. The eggplant was delicious, the udon was a little bit salty for my taste, but still acceptable. Will give it another try when I’m at this side of town.“

“We came here because of the positive celiac safe ratings and we’re not disappointed! The outside is very deceiving because it is small and not fancy but inside is quaint and minimalist but cute. They serve only bowls but the options are extensive. They are very well versed in food allergies and sensitivities, which was a relief as we have a family member with celiac disease and unable to eat dairy and soy as well. The cashier checked with the chef several times to ensure the ingredients met their restrictions and assured us that all precautions would be used to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, glove change, etc). The portions were huge and they were delicious! The Korean fried chicken was good but very sweet, so be aware of that. The beef was so good! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Beware that parking is very challenging as they share a tiny lot with a cross fit and other businesses. We got lucky to get the only handicapped spot for my mom otherwise there was no parking. Definitely recommend to come here and we’ll be back to try more options!“

- Food is amazing about as close to sushi in Japan as you’re going to get.
- Matcha S’more is a great way to end the meal.

Cons:
- The time window is a little short. Feels like a 70 minute experience that has to be completed in 60.
- The standing sushi concept is a bit strange. If it’s to try to mimic standing sushi spots in Japan…those are often causal $5-$10 meals in small markets with space for stools/chairs. This is a $100+ dinner in a building that has plenty of space for seats.

Overall though, I’d definitely recommend and come back.“

“Was incredible. The cheezus is a must. The spice from the bomb that was added into my Ramen made it just right for me(if you enjoy spicy) The shishito peppers accompanied the ramen perfectly. Our server Brandon was amazing and attentive, fun guy! All around, I highly recommend this place.“

“One of my favorite things I’ve eaten all year! One bite of the salmon-miso onigiri and I was transported back to memories of my trip to Tokyo. UniGirl opens at noon, selling a variety of onigiri flavors, a delicious keylime tart, and very cute Shiba Inu-themed merchandise. It’s themed like a Japanese convenience store, and it’s so fun to watch the onigiri be prepared and packaged. Highly recommended for authentic Japanese onigiri! 🍙“

“This review is long overdue, as I dined at Sorekara quite some time ago. Even then, it was clear that something special was happening here. The experience was thoughtful, creative, and executed at an incredibly high level from start to finish.

I remember leaving feeling certain that recognition would follow, so it’s no surprise to see Sorekara now holding two Michelin stars. It’s well deserved. I’m thrilled to see they are still going strong and continuing to receive the recognition they earned. A truly memorable dining experience.“

“This place never disappoints. My wife and I have been coming here for quite some time, and every visit has been consistently great. The portions are generous, and the food is always excellent.

On our last visit, I ordered one of the special meals that came with spring rolls. We completely forgot about them when we received our food and sat down. About ten minutes later, one of the gentlemen working there came over to our table in the food court and brought them to us. That level of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days, and it truly meant a lot.

Moments like that are exactly why we will always continue to come back. It’s not just about how good the food tastes, it’s about the people and the service as well.“

“I LOVE this place! Small and intimate environment that’s very warm and inviting. The staff are amazing, super friendly and professional and always ensure you have a great experience. Their oysters are amazing (and $3 a pop during happy hour) and served with their white soy… perfection. The menu is an unexpected fusion of asian inspired plates, and the variety guarantees you’ll find something to love no matter your mood. “Boku Sushi Maitland is my new favorite sushi place. I tried two rolls, Drama Queen and Foxy Lady. My husband had the Beef Wagyu. Our friend had the curry and EVERYTHING was delicious!!! Even the miso soup was very tasty and fresh. Ben our server was informative, personable and attentive. We spoke with Miller, he gave us more interesting information about the restaurant and asked about us and where we were from. Highly recommend!! Loved the food and the eperience!!!“

“Tori Tori is by far the best upscale bar I’ve visited. The drink menu offers classic cocktails, but has a fabulous list of unique, in house, created mixes that were phenomenal. Dalton was our Bartender and he was friendly and intuitive about which drinks to recommend. The São Paulo was an indescribably different and delicious beverage. If you like coconut, the Shinobi was also bomb and very popular amongst the crowd. Matthew let us try a seasonal punch that was festive and yummy, and they both helped us decide on snacks, which were to die for. Portions are small, so order multiples if you’re hungry. The Chimichuri steak skewers and Curry Meatballs were everything. Before we left, Greg introduced himself and was friendly and funny and helped top off a wonderful experience. You can tell this space is well managed and that the bartenders enjoy each other and the work they do. 20/10, a must if you’re looking for cocktails that will blow your mind.“

“I recently visited this ramen spot and was thoroughly impressed! As a fan of bold flavors, I tried both the Tantan Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen and they did not disappoint. The Tantan was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and nuttiness. The ground meat and sesame flavors were spot on, making every bite super satisfying. The Spicy Miso was equally amazing deep, umami-packed broth with a kick that warms you up without overwhelming the palate. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and generous. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy but lively. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Have eaten here many times and am always very happy with the experience. One of my favorite places to bring friends.

With the Handroll format, it’s hard to cover up poor quality fish, as there are no filler ingredients such as cream cheese, avocado etc. to cover things up. While I love those ingredients, they don’t let the fish shine. The handroll format, much like nigiri and sashimi, truly honors the fish you are eating. Each roll is so fresh, with crispy nori and delicately prepared quality fish. I generally don’t care for nori, but at Mosonori, I LOVE it. The freshness really does matter. The flavors in each roll are perfectly balanced, in my opinion most don’t even need any additional soy sauce.

I’ve eaten at quite a few other handroll spots across the country that are doing the same kind of dining experience, and none have come even close to Mosonori.

The handroll sets offer great value for impressive, quality fish at reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

The vibe is calm and quiet, so it is probably best to be a smaller party looking for a relaxed evening. However, it is still suitable for both a quick chill lunch, or a nice dinner out with your partner and/or friends. I have shown up in a baseball cap+ shorts and tee, but also in dress attire, and have never felt out of place.“
