“Hometown Jacksonville - Award winning, retired Exec. Chef - always on the lookout for that special restaurant where exceptional prepared food and ambiance and great service meet my expectations for that five star rating - I found it in Crystal River Fl. at the “ Vintage at Fifth” . From the salads the appetizers, the crispy Duck, the Rib Eye Steak even the Macaroni Chicken Cheese dish all were superb. My compliments to the Chef and management for their dedication to excellence!“

“We were looking for a lunch spot along N. Citrus and stopped in. Never know what you may experience. It was great! Liked the cozy atmosphere and attentive but not over the top service. The haddock was the best. It's small gem.“

“Today was my second visit to the Crystal River location. Service , environmental, and food were nothing less than phenomenal! Mr. Jimmy, the owner, makes your entire visit feeling like you’re with family. The hospitality and amazing service are second to none! Can’t wait for my next visit!“

“Food quality change? Not 100% sure but I can tell you the kids burgers are different than I used to be. They used to be hand patty and now they are premade. Brussels sprouts are good however they used to come with the sauce on them and now they do not.
$14 for kids burger with two dollar tip.“

“First and foremost I have to say, Tyler (one of the staff members) always makes our stop a better experience. He is courteous and always thanking us for coming in. He is super respectful, responsive and ALWAYS makes things right if anything goes wrong. What a great asset to the company. My 26 yr old daughter absolutely loves the crawfish (absolutely the best around). My wife tears up the crab and shrimp in the Cajun Special (seafood boil). They are always better than any other restaurant around. We have always been pleased!!! And Tyler is the plus thank makes us come back in!!!!“

“My husband and I were passing through and seen “Oysters” which happens to be our favorite food. We stopped and were not disappointed. They had a tempting Valentines special but my heart was set on fried oysters. I will definitely be back next time I am passing through.“

“Order a Greek Salad, nothing Greek about it, no feta cheese and lettuce was soggy. Worst salad I ever ate. Order decaf coffee and it was old as the hills. They need to, remove the carpet or steam clean it..removal would be better!“

“I'm from Indiana and I come here everytime I visit my sister. She is 83 years old, lives alone and has no family in Florida. Dennys has welcomed her into their family. It's her favorite breakfast restaurant and they treat her like royalty. The chef Mark, always finds time to come out and give her a hug. Karen and the staff are absolutely amazing. I am so Thankful that she has a place to go where the food is delicious and she is treated like family.“

“First time at this location. The food was excellent, service was top notch, Reilly is a good server paying attention to our needs. I had the club sandwich, it was the best ever! My spouse had the Cuban, she loved it. My daughter had the cordon blue sandwich and she loved that offering. Friends with us had the Grouper Rueben sandwich and they were impressed. We will go back again the next time we are in Crystal River.“

“From the minute you pull in lot-what a breath of fresh air in this town. Awesome service with a smile. Suggestions on the food. Clean & to me best of all quiet so you can talk! NO TV'S NO LOUD MUSIC. Great food. Will go back very soon!!! .“

“Our group of 18 women went for lunch and the service and food were amazing! The weather was not great but they made sure we were out of the weather. The sun came out towards the end of our lunch and made our time perfect! Highly recommend!“

“Had lunch a Blackwater and it was terrific. I ordered the fried shrimp plate and after a great Caesar salad, I got a platter of a dozen large sized shrimp and crispy French fried potatoes. The dining area was an air conditioned viewpoint that overlooked the Withalahochee river. And the prices were quite reasonable for the whole package. A definite and surprising 5 star day.“
