“One of the best, longest standing coffee shops in ATL. Great location if your driving thru on I-75 , just 3-4 min off interstate. Parking can be tricky but the coffee, espresso, drinks and fresh pastries are always on point! Nice merch area too!“

“Best mocha!!!!! Had a very stressful day, and decided to treat myself with a fancy coffee. The lovely people behind the counter were so nice, especially the lady who recommended the best mocha, cookie butter, I think she said, and it was absolute perfection! ?? Chef's kiss!!! Thank you so much for your good energy and making my day so much better! ❤️ I visited Saturday, October 5th, 2024 around 4pm.“

“LOVE the Vibe in this perfect outdoor space that fills with everyone in the neighborhood (pets included!). Such a delightful place to chill and catch up with friends. The service was exceptionally friendly. They even recommended a perfect vino to share between the four of us; it was Croatian! Epitet🍷. Utterly delicious and enjoyable.“
“You wouldn't guess that a little coffee shop sharing a space with a butcher/sandwich joint in a cozy corner of the Virginia Highlands area would be the some of the best coffee in the city. But it is.
The space is small, yet very relaxed, even during a Saturday brunch rush. Everyone behind the counter is moving, coffee is being weighed to scale, and the La Marzocco machine is churning away.
I was lucky enough to catch the owner, Connan, working behind the counter. Within minutes we were nerding out about chai espresso drinks like old friends. You can tell he lives and breathes this stuff—and it shows in every sip. His passion for high-quality ingredients and exacting preparation is what gives Academy its soul.
The dirty chai is the best I’ve had. Silky smooth, a nice burn and pleasantly spiced, with a bold espresso kick that doesn’t overpower. It’s comfort and energy in one cup.
Academy Coffee isn’t trying to be like anyone else, and thank heavens for that. It’s a one-of-one kind of place. Thoughtful. Delicious. Intentional. It's what happens when coffee meets dedication.“

“I have visited this place a couple times and I really like it. The baristas are great at their job and it seems like really care about providing good service.
What really struck me here is how good the food is. I was kinda shocked as I always thought of food as an afterthought at most coffee shops. I have had The Deluxe and The Crunchwrap and they are both phenomenal. They feel like full meals and not simple add-ons to go with the coffee.
Highly recommend.“

“On a mission to have breakfast today, without waiting in a long line, I stumbled on a jewel in the former location of soul food restaurants, Deacon Burton’s/Son’s Place in Inman Park. The Breakfast Burrito, Salmon on Toast, champagne, etc., were delicious and Complimentary!! Unbeknown to us, restaurant was having a “private intro” to the community and a staff training event. Melanie (Owner/Host) welcomed us in like we were family. Her husband Micheal was so excited to hear about my many visits to Deacon Burton’s. Can’t wait to go back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“I’m typically not a big fan of donuts, but The Salty has both a beautiful ambiance and the best donut I’ve had, the Brown Butter & Salt! Plus, their coffee is actually fantastic (and I recommend dunking one of the donuts in their coffee for the full experience).
Not to mention, both Krog Street and The Beltline are right outside. It makes for such a beautiful start to the day - breakfast and a walk down an aesthetic, very safe stretch of the Beltline!“

“Nice coffee shop. A little pricey. The service is just fine. We waited for our coffees about 15 minutes. They missed the order or something, I had to go to them and ask where’s the coffee. The employee said “I’m gonna make it now” - after 15 minutes passed. The food arrived maybe 25 minutes later after we ordered.“

“Let me preface by saying that I am not a matcha lover. After this drink, I became a matcha lover. This is a matcha latte with the pistachio cream topping. It’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted, although slightly on the sweeter side . I will be back!“

“I don't know why the other reviewer, SS, is lying about the kitchen never being open. I go there every other day between 10am and 130pm and have never, ever been told the kitchen was closed. They make my special order breakfast sandwich perfectly for me every time!
I assume SS showed up a few minutes before closing when they were told the kitchen was closed and wanted to vent their frustration, but that doesn't mean they should make up stuff about a business.
I am glad JavaVino is in my neighborhood!“

“Have not been in years but always remember those whole wheat chocolate chip cookies. Today brought my niece for our weekend outing. Very nice space. Feels friendly, lots of tables and a huge bar area with plenty of seating. Food looked good although I only came for pastries. Will come again but need to figure out timing so I’m not spending 10 minutes looking for parking lol!“

“I love the vibe walking in - a few people seated alone, working, quiet. Nice music, perfect volume. Barista hums along in tune, I don’t mind. I can focus on my work, the music moving me along. “What can I get for you?” was said to me promptly, but not impatiently. The transaction involved the perfect amount of interaction. I typically dislike getting asked my name at coffee shops but the purely businesslike, tactical feel of the question here was comforting and I didn’t mind it. The seating area is more spacious than I could assess from outside. I love that they have self-serve water. I’ll be back to try food next time.“

“Dancing Goats serves some of the best coffee around. The drinks are consistently great, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Whether you're grabbing a quick cup or hanging out for a while, it's a solid spot. Staff is friendly, and the quality never disappoints. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.“

“It's smaller than I expected inside, but had some seating left even though there were a decent number of paired up people inside. The service counter staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even knowledgeable about which coffee options were single origin. The coffee I selected, an organic Costa Rica blend, was amazing, perfection! The avocado toast was thick, fresh and lumpy (as opposed to being turned into a smear) and I loved it a lot. Much better than most places who water down their avocados with fillers. It was also perfect. I'm excited to come back. It was expensive though - one cup of coffee and avocado toast (one slice) for just under $25 (including a $2 tip for to-go items). I don't like those prices.“

“Never thought I would review an airport eating experience, but I had to. I'm in Atlanta and in the B terminal. there is a lady there that is working so hard and smiling at everyone and just making the place clean and pleasant. I forgot napkins and she noticed and brought me some and I didn't even ask. her name is NGA. thank you NGA for making the airport better.“

“I heard about The Black Coffee Company from someone this morning because they knew I was looking for a space to do some work with good coffee. I immediately drove over and when I tell you Crystal made me the Killer Mike and she made it a little sweet for me and Brianna topped my taste buds off with the avocado toast with everything on it. This is my new favorite spot. The music is great, not too loud that you can’t work but just right. I highly recommend them. They are a whole vibe.“

“i love this place! we go almost weekly. their coffee is great and their biscuit breakfast sandwiches are PERFECT! i love the vibe of the shop, too, especially when vinyls are available to purchase on the weekends. however, the customer service lacks consistency. there’s only one person who actually smiles and makes it feel welcoming. the others look like you’re bothering them by placing orders. they chat and enjoy each other but when it’s your turn to chat, it’s a different story. i’ll still continue going back but i just wish the customer service was better :/“

“Such a great place! The vibe, layout, and music are great, and the crowd is a good mix of people. But I have to give the most credit to the people...fun, friendly, and excellent customer service! I have always had a good time here, but this past weekend was above and beyond. I hosted a friend's birthday which was an impromptu idea, and although last minute, the team at Holiday Bar stepped right up. First Erin, who handles events, helped me with deciding on the logistics, and even though I was asking for a space for the very next day, on a Friday, she was so kind and was committed to making something work, and she absolutely did! Then we get to day of, and the weather was not cooperating, and that is when Tom, the Operations Manager, stepped in with the proactive decision to move us inside, but it didn't stop there...the rest of the night, Tom and team were amazing with service, checking in on us, and ensuring all details were taken care of making this evening more than we even expected! A huge thank you to Tom, Erin, and the Holiday Bar team for an awesome night! We will definitely be back very soon, and this will remain a go to spot!“

“Coffee is good and service very friendly (altho a bit expensive). The problem is the parking though. I entered the validation code but got a letter a week later demanding I pay $87 as a fine for not paying parking. First the validation didn’t work. Second I will not return to any of that retail if that’s what the parking lot tries to extort from you for if someone does make a legit mistake and not pay. Places like the Battery, Avalon and Atlantic Station don’t do that. Even the city of Atlanta parking ticket is less. It’s sad as I like a lot of the restaurants there. But enforcing that kind of parking ran me off. Silly.“

“We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary at Il Premio — and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely special. The ambiance is elegant and warm, the service was thoughtful and kind, and every dish was a work of art.
The staff made us feel welcomed and celebrated, and the food… absolutely exquisite. The lighting, the interior, the overall atmosphere — everything came together so beautifully. It felt like the restaurant itself was part of our celebration.
Thank you for making our special day feel magical. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Go for the coffee, stay for the mushroom quiche. Theres a certain level of expectation that comes from neighborhood coffee shops in nicer parts of Atlanta, sure. What's not necessarily expected is people who enjoy their job and who serve exquisite morning pastries. This mushroom quiche took a normal morning at a coffee shop and turned it into a memorable occurrence. I will now crave this pastry in the recesses of my mind: it has forever raised the bar for breakfast dining. I recommended to the very nice owners that they keep serving this pastry.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of well behaved kids when I was there. They fit in just fine.“
