“My husband and I finally made it to the iconic Varsity for a quick dinner! We went on an off time for an early dinner on a Tuesday, and it was super low key. While we know we’ve had better burgers and dogs, we didn’t leave disappointed. Everything was tasty, and I especially liked the chili cheese fries. My husband described the burger as being better than a regular McDonald’s burger but not as good as a quarter pounder. The place was clean and I would keep it in mind for a quick and easy meal again while in midtown ATL.“

“Shake Shack recently went up in my book with the addition of their veggie burger. I always liked the shroom burger but it didn’t really meet my burger craving. The new patty is flavorful on its own and I like that they didn’t just use a fake meat brand. I also like the standard toppings that accompany the veggie burger - pickles, cheese and fried onions. The crinkle fries with or without cheese are always a win as well. What I didn’t like which led me to 4 stars was the state of the bathroom (I’ll spare you the details) and the drinks. I had the pink lemonade and there was so much ice in the cup I couldn’t put the straw in it. We also ordered a soda and it came out wrong. Not the end of the world but paired with the bathroom it just wasn’t a 5 star experience.

“This CFA is BAIG. Best at its game. Being in a busy spot of town, with hospital workers constantly in and out… they have perfected service. Quick, pleasant, and clean. We were in and out at the busiest time. Food was made exactly how we ordered, and looked as if each order was carefully curated. Staff is phenomenal. “MetroFresh is a fast-casual eatery featuring fresh, healthy, and creative food. It is located in Midtown Promenade, near the Monroe Dr. and 10th Street entrance of Piedmont Park. It is MARTA-accessible via the 809 bus. MetroFresh is very bright and welcoming, with a cute coffee/wine/cocktail bar in the back of the restaurant. I enjoyed the 80s music playing in the background. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and offer samples of salads and soups. We ordered Seared Thai 🥥 Salmon, Mitchell’s 🦃 Chili Lunch Special (included 🍪 and drink), and fruit salad. I sampled the Apricot and 🍐 Basil 🐔 Salad. My salmon was delicious. The protein was cooked to a perfect medium, and the stir-fry vegetables were cooked evenly and remained just firm enough to handle the rich sauce. The sweet chili sauce & 🥥 🥛 packed a flavorful punch, and I am looking forward to eating my leftovers. My husband always orders the 🦃 chili, as it is definitely one of the better ones in Atlanta. It is always well seasoned, with a generous amount of 🫘 and just enough 🧀 and sour cream for dressing. I appreciated the different fruits in the fruit salad (plums, 🥝, 🍇, 🍓, and 🍍). The 🍪 was not as memorable as their brownies (🔥🔥🔥). While I appreciated the freshness of the 🐔 salad, I found it needed salt and diversity of flavors. I look forward to tagging along with my husband for his post-workout dinner, as I want to try the smashburger and pork chop. I would also love to visit for brunch.“

“This experience was truly unexpected before coming here. My date and I were on our first outing together, and we initially chose what we thought was a higher-end restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience fell short, leaving us still hungry and craving something more satisfying. To turn the evening around, I decided to take her to Shake Shack—her very first time visiting one—and this location happened to be the nearest option.

I'm so glad we came because the experience exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful, the staff were mostly friendly, and the restaurant was impeccably clean when we arrived. We placed our order and initially planned to enjoy our meal on the patio. However, it was getting chilly, and the staff was beginning to close the outdoor seating area, so we opted for takeout instead. In a pleasant surprise, the staff gave us a couple of extra drinks they were planning to discard, and those drinks turned out to be fantastic!

For my date, the visit was a delightful introduction to Shake Shack, and she mentioned she’d definitely return. As for me, although it was my first time at this particular location, I’ve been to several Shake Shack outlets before, and this one lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. The food was prepared perfectly, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience.

I ordered the truffle burger with cheese fries, while she chose the chicken sandwich with bacon cheese fries. Everything was cooked to perfection—the burger patty was well-done, just the way I like it. The only minor improvements I’d suggest are adding a bit more fried onion to the burger and a bit more ice in the drinks. Other than that, the food hit the spot and made for the perfect ending to our date.

The only aspect I’d change is the ability to sit and enjoy our meal at the restaurant, as it felt a bit like they were rushing to close the seating area. However, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. This location left a great impression on both of us, and I’ll definitely be back.

“Extreme teriyaki grill is a great dive in a strip. I absolutely can understand the strong reviews.

It seems like most of their business is carry out, but they do have dine in. You see everything made right before your eyes with an open kitchen. Counter service was friendly and they have a large menu. The price point is exceptional for the amount of food that you get.

The dining room had around a half dozen tables and was clean. From what I could tell of the back house, it was also clean. The employees working the grill smiled and seemed to like their job.

I got the shrimp and beef with brown rice and it was enough for two people. I also got the California roll, which was good not great.

If I lived in the area, this would be a regular for me.“

“I was treated by a friend to Mr Everything and let me tell you. IT WAS EVERYTHING and SOME! I had the Chicken Over Rice dish. I'm tempted to drive the 40 minutes back over there to order more. The food smelled so good and the presentation of the dish was nicely put together. My mom taught us presentation is everything. The food was seasoned perfectly. If you haven't tried Mr. Everything, I recommend that you do because it was "fire" which to young people is pretty darn cool.“
