“Lovely little spot. I'm grateful that they're a quick walk from work, and end up there for breakfast about once a week. I recommend the savory galettes (mushroom, broccoli cheddar, or if you're very lucky, summer tomatoes and ricotta!). And grab a jambon buerre sandwich for lunch later the same day!

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the space is cute. I'm not a sweets guy, but my colleagues swear by the coffee cake.“

“Sugar Shane’s was absolutely incredible! Everything we tried was fresh and packed with flavor. The oatmeal pie was soft, rich, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The Dunkaroo cookie was a fun throwback with the perfect balance of sweetness, and the dark brown sugar toffee was hands down my favorite—perfectly chewy with an amazing buttery flavor.

On top of the amazing desserts, the staff was outstanding. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. Great customer service and even better treats. I’ll definitely be back!“

Feels friendly, lots of tables and a huge bar area with plenty of seating. Food looked good although I only came for pastries. Will come again but need to figure out timing so I’m not spending 10 minutes looking for parking lol!“

I stopped by here after dropping someone off at the airport after seeing some good reviews and everything was perfect we need more places like this everyone at the front was kind and the bread and baked goods are truly mouthwatering I highly recommend the coffee cake to anyone checking this place out and the sourdough of course.“

“I live pretty close by and always drive pass this place and have read a lot of good reviews about this place. Had couple of breakfast sandwiches. Bacon egg and cheese in a crossaint and a chicken sausage egg and cheese in a croissant and both the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. I want to go back and try few of their other menus.“

Moist✔ delicious ✔ great and friendly customer service✔ creative flavors that aren't just flavored frosting on a chocolate or vanilla cupcake, but flavored cupcakes (like the oreo cupcakes has an oreo base!!! “Very soft rotis, specially their whole wheat roti with olive oil. The rotis are always fresh, prepared on the same day and they stay fresh for quite a long time if stored in fridge. While reheating as well they are still soft if stored properly in fridge. I didn’t try their delivery service because I usually prefer picking them up myself. They close at 7:30pm which I felt is pretty early.“

“I would just like to give a BIG shout out to the staff at the Toco Hills location. Two days ago I placed an order for delivery to my son on his Birthday June 10th as a surprise. I had never ordered from them nor had anything delivered from them. When I placed the order everything was super easy. But I messed up and put in the address completely wrong. When I tried to revise, it wouldn't let me on line. I called the store for help, the girl who answered the phone was so polite and so helpful. She tried everything she could to help me but unfortunately she couldn't figure it out either. So I said, it's ok, thanks I will try again on my end. I still couldn't cancel or update. I called back the next morning and got another person who AGAIN was extremely patient and so very helpful. She did everything she could as well to help, finally she got a manager and they canceled my first order and we got it all straightened out. My son received his cookies today and enjoyed them so much and was also very surprised. I am so sorry I did not get anyone's name, but Management needs to know that you and your staff are doing a great job and are giving great customer service. Something that has lately gone by the wayside. I will definitely purchase again! Thank you.“

“On Sat 6/13/26 my wife and I stopped in for a sandwich late in the PM (approx. 2 PM). The service and the food were outstanding. Really friendly folks. Great food product. The manager, Greta, is a lovely person. I was particularly impressed with the manner in which she handled a completely unhinged and petulant guest. I The lady wanted her coffee in a special way...a 15-minute process. The issue is Greta had other customers (like me) waiting and she did not have the time to make the special brew. Despite Greta's apologies the lady pouted like a five-year-old. The whole affair culminated in the lady walking out leaving her boyfriend/husband alone to finish his java. He too apologized to Greta. It was actually pretty good theater :-). Congratulations to Greta for a job well done.“

Our guests loved the jack and coke infused chocolate cupcakes and strawberry champagne infused cupcakes. As the bride, I was too busy and forgot to try a strawberry cupcake and man do I regret it! They looked amazing and we’re gone so quickly! We also had the banana pudding shooters and apple pie bars. “I HATE PANINI'S. I'm tired of going to a trendy cafes and all they have are your typical pastries that don't ever fill you up. I hate cramp spaces. I hate weak coffee. I hate multiple-stall bathrooms. I can continue with things I hate, but this place is soooo under-rated. It has none of the things I hate. I went here today and it's exactly what I love in a cafe. It's spacious, it's calm, and there are so many food options. I had a banh mi, pho, and iced coffee while working on my laptop. it really doesn't get any better than that. Not only that, the workers here are so sweet and interacted with a smile. There's only one thing I hate about this place is that they're not getting the recognition they deserve. Best remote work spot.“
