“The best late night ramen/pho spot! The service was great the egg rolls kept coming like dinner rolls I didn’t expect that! The environment is very comfortable clean and the food was great! My ramen was so tasty and so was my coffee smoothie and my crab ragoons and egg rolls! Definitely one of my go to late night spots!“

“Absolutely amazing food for the price. Come here if you're passionate about food.
Any noodle soup is priced at about $12, with meat portion you won't see at other Atlanta places charging $14-15 for a medium bowl. The bahn mi's are also really cheap ($5), and they taste amazing with huge portions!!
The only trade-off is, of course, there isn't much service or environment. But that's totally fair because of how cheap the food is. And everything is still very clean.“

“I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this restaurant, from the drinks to the food and the exceptional service. This was my first experience with this style of cuisine, and I am already looking forward to my next time. Even two of my children, who are notoriously picky eaters, are eager to return. Thank you, and Jesus Bless all! 💜🕊️✝️“

“New BEST Banh Mi in town! Newly opened and and lots of DELICIOUS FLAVORS no others can rival! Located on BuHi next to the well known Tea House Formosa, you will find a newly established Banh Mi shop. Not only am I impressed with the menu, the meat to topping ratio, and the baguette is light, fluffy and fresh JUST LIKE in VIETNAM. As if that was not enough, THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SPECIAL SAUCE, a sweet and tangy explosión of flavor. The Banh Mi sizes offered are diverse and ready to serve any client ranging from the Banh Mi craver that wants to limit bread intake (stick), the Now and Later that likes to eat half now and save half for later because you weren't that hungry (Regular), and the BiG EyE eater who orders TWO to finish 1 1/2 (Challenger). The challenger wasn't available yet, but I look forward to one day enjoying an airy inside and crunchy outside Challenger sized Banh Mi! Now finally, To the nitty gritty I ordered the - Be Grilled Pork (original) -Glazed Chicken (original) - Teriyaki Chicken (stick) They were all mouth watering and have me wanting more... the texture was crunchy, full of flavor, and the perfect egg butter glazed inside providing the perfect balance.“

“Wow, a hidden gem!! Skip your regular restaurant if you’re craving authentic homemade style pho. I can smell the flavors from a distant that I wanted to try. The pho here rivals the best in GA. Broth is soooo flavorful balanced with the green herbs aroma reminds me of Vietnam. A little on the oily side which I like cause it tells you that they make it from scratch. Meat was fresh. Noodles consistency was perfect. Rau ma drink tasted a little diluted.“

“Dua Vietnamese is one of those spots that feels like a quiet win the moment you sit down. The broth-based dishes are especially comforting—clean, aromatic, and layered with flavor in a way that doesn’t feel heavy but still deeply satisfying.
The ingredients taste fresh, and everything comes out with that “made with care” energy rather than rushed service. The portions hit that sweet spot where you leave full but not overwhelmed.
The atmosphere is relaxed and low-key, making it a great place for a casual meal that still feels intentional. A strong go-to if you’re craving Vietnamese comfort food done right. 🍜✨“

“The pho was okay. The flavor wasn’t extraordinary, but it was averagely good. Plenty of places to sit down. I wish there was a map as it was confusing to navigate the building. The restaurant associate was nice and I didn’t have to wait long for my food.“

“So Ba is one of those hidden neighborhood gems in East Atlanta Village. The vibe is laid-back, casual, and a little eclectic — it feels like a local hangout more than a polished chain, which I actually love.
The pho is the star here: rich broth, fresh herbs, and generous portions. Their vermicelli bowls and spring rolls are also worth trying — light but filling, with clean flavors. The menu isn’t overwhelming, which makes it easy to pick something good.
Service can be a little hit-or-miss depending on the night, but when it’s on, it feels personal and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the cocktails (yes, they’ve got a bar) are a fun surprise for a Vietnamese spot.
If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Vietnamese food in a chill atmosphere, So Ba definitely delivers. It’s not fancy, but it’s soulful, and that’s what makes it stand out.“

“Very cool little store with a lot of variety. Prices are pretty decent too. Only gripe is the food sitting in the heat lamp area arent always warm/hot though surprisingly still had good crunch and flavor. This place also serves bahn mis and has a small drink menu as well.“

“Another great neighborhood eatery that has been around for 25 years! Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. Friendly staff and good value for what you get.“

“The bowl was smaller diameter but a bit deeper - felt like the portion size was smaller for what you pay for. Self serve condiments on the left side. More like cafeteria style with paying at the counter first. They did apologize for my order taking longer to come out. The broth and noodles were good, not great. Skimped on the classic beef ingredients.“

“As an introvert, this is the environment I like. They have loud music that allows you to enjoy your food without conversation. Our server was great and didn’t try crowding us like crazy. The pho was absolutely amazing especially with a drink. Definitely a good spot for people to try!“
“Surprisingly good Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches made by a real Vietnamese lady.At first we weren’t sure it was opened, when you walk in there were gaming pool tables and large screen TVs. It felt like a lounge sports bar.The banh mi sandwiches were tasty. Great customer service.“

“My first time trying Vietnamese food or pho and this was a great choice. I had a big bowl of pho with several types of meat and a whole bunch of crunchy delicious vegetables. My mouth is watering right now just remembering how good it was and how many tasty things were in there. We were seated and welcomed in right away even though it was close to closing. Service was great, food came fast and was delicious. Very quiet and low key atmosphere.“

“I have been here for about 15 years and finally give them a review. Most typical Vietnamese don’t give reviews and I’m one of them ?. We either come back if it’s good or don’t come back if it’s not good. Food is excellent and still the same for past 15 years and the same owners. My favorite is bún chả cá (fish cakes noodles) and bánh canh cua (crab noodles). My husband likes cơm tấm đặc biệt 7 món (7 special combinations broken rice) and bún bò huế (spicy beef noodles). They all are good. They are like home made food and I typically order them on the days that I don’t want to cook. Give them a try and help the owners stay in business.“

“Colonial Kitchen has become a favorite place to dine! Gourmet food at reasonable prices, stylish, cozy ambiance, wonderful patio, excellent service. I still prefer eating outdoors for Covid safety, and they are happy to oblige, where many places refuse to serve, even if they have seating available! Very grateful!!“

“Wassup world?! Back at my usual spot for pho & banh mi, but this time, my sis was the one craving it--not me. I wasn't really feeling it, so I just ate what she ordered. She got the large #1 combo pho, grilled pork with rice, combo banh mi, and Thai tea. Overall, this visit was a 7/10. If you've been here before, you already know how the service is--servers running around like crazy, but they're super attentive. Here's the breakdown: * #1 Pho Combo - 6/10 The broth was kinda bland that night. Usually, it hits, but this time? Meh. * Grilled Pork Plate - 9/10 Perfectly seasoned and grilled just right. Pair it with the pickled carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fish sauce? Absolute fire. * Combo Banh Mi - 6/10 Ehh, it was just okay. Nothing too exciting. * Thai Tea - 7/10 Loved the tall drink container (super cute), but the tea wasn't that sweet, and the boba was just alright. Would I come back? Of course--this is still my spot! They stay open 'til 3AM, so it's always a solid late-night option. Guess it just depends on the day because different days = different flavors. Pull up and see for yourself!“

“I had to come back and write this review. You know how it usually goes — when it’s bad, people rush to leave a review, but when it’s really good, people forget. I couldn’t forget this place.
I tried the banh mi egg sandwich with beef and added extra beef — and wow. I also got egg rolls, a pastry with pork, and sticky rice with pork. I pretty much ordered everything they had except a few items, but I’ve only eaten the banh mi and the egg rolls so far because I couldn’t stop.
Hands down, this is the best banh mi sandwich I’ve ever had. This place is seriously underrated. I was literally looking for it for about 30 minutes before I finally found it, and it was 100% worth it. I can’t stop thinking about how good that sandwich was — like, wow.
I’m visiting the area and I will absolutely be coming back again before I leave. It’s that good. I ate it so fast I forgot to take pictures, but this is my honest review: you HAVE to try the banh mi here. This place is amazing.
Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I HATE PANINI'S. I'm tired of going to a trendy cafes and all they have are your typical pastries that don't ever fill you up. I hate cramp spaces. I hate weak coffee. I hate multiple-stall bathrooms. I can continue with things I hate, but this place is soooo under-rated. It has none of the things I hate. I went here today and it's exactly what I love in a cafe. It's spacious, it's calm, and there are so many food options. I had a banh mi, pho, and iced coffee while working on my laptop. it really doesn't get any better than that. Not only that, the workers here are so sweet and interacted with a smile. There's only one thing I hate about this place is that they're not getting the recognition they deserve. Best remote work spot.“

“The food was very good except for the roast duck and egg noodles soup. The soup has no flavor. It was very tasteless. The porched chicken was very good and do was the roasted pig. The skin was extra crispy. Definitely recommend the chicken and pork.“
“Honestly I’m not worried about people smoking inside. They have a sign on the door that warns you. Anyway, great Vietnamese coffee and (when I was there) free sweet tea came with it. So we got 4 drinks for $8. Not too bad.Note that they only take cash! Remember to bring it!“

“For the certified authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, this is the BEST than ever. Not only their fresh bread but also their other food and drink. Flavor and portion of dishes were so good! The restaurant’s very neat and clean for dining in as well. Moreover, I definitely recommend buying some of their food for takeout. Your family and friends are gonna love it as my homies.“

“Food is always very good and high quality ingredients and reliably consistently delicious food options for over the last 5 years I have been eating or ordering take outs from Vietvana. They are also very fast in preparing the food. Highly recommend it. But on my most recent take out, I also ordered a German Chocolate cake. When I opened the box, it was the tiniest German chocolate cake slice I have ever seen ( it was delicious nonetheless). And I paid $6.95 for it😬. So if you are hoping for a hardy slice of German Chocolate Cake, looks elsewhere 😄
Seriously, the food there is really good.“
