“I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“We've been eating here for several years. It is always fantastic. Everything on the menu is delicious. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Service is also always amazing. “DELICIOUS!! When you order grits in a restaurant and they come out delicious—needing no salt, butter, or pepper—you know it’s a good place to eat!! All of our food was delicious. “Vegetarian options: Majority of the vegetarian options are sides, the appetizers, and desserts. The Vegetable platter consists of a variety of the sides that they offer. While the platter was filling and did taste delicious, I would not recommend if majority of the party is vegetarian or vegan as they do not have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu (that I am aware of or saw). So if you are vegetarian, your only option will be the platter.
Parking: Complimentary, but mandatory Valet parking where you can “pay what you want”. There is no fixed price for the parking. We offered to park our own car, but was told that was not an option in their parking lot.“

“The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!“

“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“

“I had the incredible pleasure of the Miller Union experience last Saturday. I run a small nonprofit meal ministry program in Gwinnett and I am a colleague of your Executive Pastry Chef's mother. Being from industry, but now serving in a different manner, I must say how satisfying it is to know that considering the major challenges presently in the restaurant industry, you have built a culture of service, professionalism, precision and family that is simply impossible to find. You were flawless on that night. I claimed time out of my busy schedule to treat myself, I didn’t have a reservation but was granted the best seat in the house, at the bar, on the corner, right at the service area next to the ticket stabber and the printer. You might ask, why that seat was so great... well, for the first time in 35 years I had no responsibilities being that close to the start and finish of an order. I knew I was in the right place to do something I'd never done before and that was to take my hands off the wheel and allow the environment to take control. I asked, who I believed to be the Sommelier (sorry can't recall his name)to order for me. Of course he would line me up with the best wines without sacrificing my mortgage payment, lol by my request, but I kept eyeballing those Sailor's Greetings passing by and had to inquire. The Bartender was "straight fire" and gave me the scoop... a reduction of muscadine wine!!!! WHAT!!! Anyway, the Pork Belly, the Field Pea and Peanut Salad, all amazing. When it came to the entree I had to pump the breaks on the house choice... I saw Collard Greens with the Pork Loin... being born and raised in the South, I had to know. The moment of truth, Wow! Okay I had to look this... Unicorn in the eyes. Now it's Saturday night so I didn't expect Chef Steven Satterfield to be present but low and behold, he was there. I couldn't see him because he was doing what he was supposed to be doing... Driving the Bus! So after an awesome experience thus far and a visit from who I believe was the FOH Maestro, Neal MaCarthy, it was on to the reason I was there… to experience the offerings of Chef Claudia Martinez. Her team did not disappoint. Again I left it up to the BOH and BAM!!!...the Doughnuts!!! Just phenomenal. So I wrapped up and called for my car and on my way out I was saluted by GM Vince Landi and informed Chef Satterfield had a moment and he was kind enough to greet me. Needless to say, I was honored and proud of know our industry's best days are ahead of us. Thank you Miller Union and Chef Satterfield for a night to remember and for continuing to carry the torch. “Super friend staff and amazing food! Everyone was so friendly and helpful but, most importantly, the food was SO good! My husband and I both got different omelets and both were so good. We ate until we were beyond stuffed because the food was THAT good! He got a Bloody Mary that was one of the best I’ve had out here and I got a mimosa. “Today I had the privilege of eating and photographing at Aimer ATL.FRIED LOBSTER TAILSToday I had the experience of trying the Fried Lobster Tails, and they were delectable. These tails would be wonderful for lobster connoisseurs and even those who just do not care for it. Why? The crispy, crunch of the batter is full of flavor, delivering a full southern punch to a subtle crustacean. The batter additionally captures the juices within the meat which explodes upon bites. “Neighborhood church-run eatery. Soul food at it's best. Absolutely 💯 percent worth the drive out to S.W. Atlanta (they also have an in town location). Line service like a Picadilly. Muslim healthy fare like veggie plate is so filling. Have had that before.. Nonetheless less this time we just had to get the fried catfish. The portions are sizeable and the line servers are so nice and friendly. It's like your Grandma fixin' your plate at the stove. They do have a small outdoor patio too.“

“Recently spent a few days in Atlanta. (Go Braves!) This was the BEST meal we had the entire time. Scott, you and your staff have my vote --- 5 star, A+ all the way. Marcelo, your service during our meal --- perfect. This will be a "must do" the next time we are in Atlanta. In the meanwhile, when YOU go, get the fried chicken and any of the sides. You will thank me.“
“Ms. D is a godsend in the Atlanta community, specifically the Historic West End. Follow them on IG and fb for updates on live music. They cater, and rent their dining room for special events. They're also an in-restaurant full service dining room. Ate there today for brunch at about 11am, and my friend had the burrito with vegan sausage and vegan cheese replacement and devoured it. The fresh fruit bowl she got with it was so ripe and perfect! I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were remarkable, with a yummy, very fresh and crisp green salad. They had ginger tea, caffeinated and decaf coffee. Service was excellent. They've partnered with the city of Atlanta to hire teen waitstaff throughout the summer for fair pay. Nothing is more wholesome, mom and pop, and worthy of support and celebration than a true community based business! I will always support this eatery!“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“
