“First impressions are Everything!! Visiting from Louisiana with a friend, we decided to try the College Park location. The greeter, with a very pleasant personality met us at the door and welcomed us in. The energy was high from the staff as well as inviting. We both decided on the Afta Church, tried the fried green tomatoes and added the bussin muffins. Beautiful presentation, deliciously prepared and from my own experience, the meal was intoxicating. I'm a salt sensitive person and I was pleasantly surprised the meal wasn't high in sodium.I don't eat out often but when I do, I want to enjoy it and I love when the meal and atmosphere leaves a lasting impression. I would absolutely recommend treating yourself and your palette to an unforgettable experience at Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I visted the wing house today I ordered 10pc xtra crispy with fries ..I must say the food was nasty. My wings were not crispy it had a funny smell to it like they use the same oil to fry the fish so that was a no for me but the customer service was awesome .”

I would highly recommend this spot, when you want Chinese type food,not necessarily authentic but most Americans like it. If you have kids,on a budget, between paydays or whatever your situation is,this is the place for $1.50 per scoop food ! I'll be back for sure !”

Its way better than the nearby papa johns or any other pizza place around here. “My 2 Classmates/Girlfriends arrived at 11:53 am on Saturday to a practical empty restaurant, had to wait to be seated, servicer didn't intro herself, took our drink & appetizer order; I had to ask her name. She didn't refill our beverages, that's why I ordered a glass of water & a glass of ice, I had a forethought that we wouldn't be checked on. The wrong was brought out for one of us & my fries were cold, asked for hot ones & a plate was brought out.”

“This Mexican store/ restaurant never disappoints. I have been eating food from this establishment for years and I have to say they are consistently good.

I will admit, I have had a couple of questionable incidents but they definitely have always straightened out the situation.
Great food and great people.

Vegetarian options: I have not ever seen any vegetarian options. I'm not sure if they are offered.

Kid-friendliness: It's pretty kid friendly. Busy place so keep an eye on your children.

“Tried this place last weekend and my first impression wasn't great, but I will give it another try at some point. Beautiful space, but the customer service is definitely lacking. Our server took 12 minutes to come speak to us, but we watched her talk and be on her phone while standing near the bar talking to the bartender. My friend and I ordered cocktails and honestly didn't taste any alcohol, disappointing especially with the prices being what they are. My friend ordered pancakes and chicken wings, and I had shrimp and grits with a side order of chicken wings. We had to send the wings back they were so salty they were inedible. I love seasoned food but we honestly could not eat it. I thought it was just mine, but hers were the same. The shrimp and grits were good, a bit too much sauce...completely overpowered the grits. But again it was a good dish overall. The pancakes were delicious. Perfect griddle cakes. I ordered the fried french toast to go. It too was delicious even after being reheated. Hopefully they get the chicken batter worked out and try to get the servers on board with providing better customer service to paying patrons.”

“I have come from an area that has great Asian food options so when a friend told me about yummy house we had to give it a try. We order take out from here regularly now- food has always been hot, fresh and very tasty. I love their fried rice(whether chicken, beef or shrimp) - sesame chicken and General Tso are the other dishes we usually order.”
