“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“The food was amazing. I got the jerk wings and Shrimp fried rice but when my food came they gave me the oxtails fried rice! It was good after searching for the shrimp…I asked our waitress what I ordered and the cook messed up my order. The owner made sure it was corrected. My boyfriend got the oxtail nachos appetizer and catfish with garlic mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese! He loves catfish and he loved it here! A hidden gem and we will be returning! No pics but the fried rice was HUGE!“

“My family and I a total of ten of us dined at this restaurant. O my goodness, the food was delicious. We started off with some appetizers, spring roll and jerk chicken plantain nachos. They were delicious and filling. We ordered dinner and had to take it home, we were so stuffed. The manager Deja and hostess Desiree were exceptional. They provided everything we needed and checked on us constantly to see if we had further needs.Thanks ladies for a job well done.“

“Just stopped in for the first time and we were greeted warmly by the young man serving. He gave us suggestions and was patient and kind while we figured out what we wanted. Very happy that it was somewhat like a « buffet style » in the sense that the food was already cooked and ready to be served. That was particularly helpful as we are on a long roadtrip and needed to be in and out. We ordered the chicken curry, goat curry and brown stew chicken. Flavor bombs! Very, very happy with our choices and very filled as well. I got cabbage and plantains on the side and those were satisfying as well. If you want roti, be sure to call ahead! So glad we decided to try this place and will definitely stop by again the next time we pass through town. Thumbs up for us!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. I’m new to GA from FL and was in search of some good Haitian food and they definitely delivered. We’ve tried the Griot, Turkey and Goat so far and have yet to be disappointed. Good portion size, flavorful, fair prices and great customer service. The restaurant has plenty of sitting and has a warm vibe as they play nice Kompa in the background as you enjoy your food. It’s a hidden gem.“

“I am very satisfied with the quality customer service that I received from Yardie Kitchen!! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very nice!! The only drawback was the beef patties. They were overdone and very dry! It could have been a bad batch. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for Authentic Jamaican food!!!“

“We got this delivered and it STILL came out to us hot and fresh! Whoever is making the food here is making it with LOVE and HARD WORK!!!!! I've tried three different Caribbean food places this week to see who had the best, and M&J's took the cake! Everywhere else had something bland, something not right... but every single thing we tried at this restaurant was seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection! From the rice and peas, to the macaroni, to the jerk chicken, to the stew beef – everything was absolutely perfect! You have won my family over, we'll be back very soon for more! Thank you sooo much for making such delicious food, please don't ever change! Thank you!“

“We had an amazing experience at this place last weekend. We all went there as a group of friends last Saturday and the whole group could not stop talking about the food for a whole week!!! Our favorite was the pate kòde, hands down the best I’ve ever had in the states!!!!! I also had some lalo but it was a little bitter, hopefuly they fix it after. My husband had the turkey tassot as a fritay platter and it was delicious!!!! My son had the diri kole and ate the whole bowl by himself. The rice is soooo good, don’t even need any gravy to eat with it! The sos pwa was delicious as well! Our friend had the kabrit (goat) and it was also delicious!!! Finally, the customer service was great and the owner is supper sweet and patient. I just found my new favorite restaurant in the area, can’t wait to be back this weekend!!!!!!“

“Placed an order for pickup today, x2 Chicken Roti.. upon pickup the Cashier rang me up for x1 chicken roti (priced at $13.78, different from the online advertised price of $10.25, which I hope to confirm tomorrow when I call), time was of the essence so I raised no concern and just paid for x1 and left.. Tip: Perhaps the Staff should practice confirming order when someone calls in for pickup and also update online menu prices, I drove 30min to pick it up but nevertheless the food was good, and I ended up sharing the x1 roti with my spouse.“

I went at lunchtime and was hungry for Oxtail. However, the Oxtail wasn't ready and I had to wait 30 minutes for it. I took off one star for the restaurant not properly timing the dishes to be ready at lunchtime. (I believe all dishes should be available at lunchtime!)
