My husband and I never got a chance to need anything, this server had our bread in his hand when he got our drink order and he stayed ahead of us through our whole dinner. “They charged me for Hot Sauce without telling me, I mean, it's a mexican place. I said I wasn't told. They removed that from the check.. staff should let us know about extra charges. It's 3$ for sauce.
I like the place, food is just ok. Prices ok.“

“This is the second time we've been here over the past several years. We come down here on vacation from Ohio. Longhorn was packed, so we came here and we're surprised that the parking lot was rather empty on a Friday night at 5:30. A very young girl greeted us and sat us at a table. Our waitress was Tracy R and she was very nice. Another lady brought us for food (which I think was maybe the manager), and she was also very nice. My husband got a ribeye and a baked potato and a salad and said it was good. I got the lasagna manicotti combo with a salad and it was good. I was surprised for a combo how small of a portion it was though. I assume since it was more expensive then individual lasagna or individual manicotti that it would be a larger portion. But it seemed more like a lunch size portion. Lasagna was okay but the manicotti was delicious it was just such a small amount. I would eat here again when we come back down.“

“I always recommend Pooles Bar B Que, for the food and service. My guests enjoy as well. You cannot find better brisket especially. If you dine in, most likely have to get to go boxes, because portion’s are generous. Last month I came as they closing and the employees let me order to go. Well I left my debit card in the card reader but did not know until my next stop. I was upset because I wasn’t 💯 percent sure where my card was. I called and left a message and the next morning decided to go by because I was on my way out of town. I didn’t receive a call back and no one was coming to the door because they had not opened yet. So after waiting decided to go around the back to see if anyone might be there, and they were just loading or unloading and didn’t hear me knocking. Anyway they had my card and told me I didn’t have any worries because all the staff were honest and glad they could help me, I was embarrassed about being so careless. So there are so many reasons this special restaurant in Ellijay is one of my favorite places to get a really great meal. I’ve feel like if you weren’t happy with something you ordered they will accommodate you. Try it for yourself, take someone with you!! 🤩😋“

“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!“

“LOVE the ZA. We have been going to Hitching Post for a couple years now. Great pizza and sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but pizza has nice thin crust and LOTS of toppings for the perfect combination. Also, the owners actually work there and we always love supporting local small business. Thanks for being a staple of Ellijay.“

“Went in today to check out the vineyard and was recommended the Chimney Red. It did not disappoint very happy with the recommendation! Beautiful vineyard and definitely suggest checking it out. There wasn’t much going on as it’s a Monday but still a beautiful place. Lots to offer! Would love to check it out on a weekend !!“

“Great value! I had a bacon cheeseburger all the way. The patty was fresh (never frozen), flavorful, and juicy. The toppings were fresh and the bun was delicious. The crinkle fries were cooked just right too! My husband got the butterfinger shake and cheese steak sandwich and both were amazing! You'll pay more at McDonald's for a far inferior experience. The customer service was excellent. I look forward to coming back again soon.“

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.“
