“Found this cute diner on Google and so pleasantly surprised! Cheap breakfast foods, delicious gravy, big burritos and fresh coffee and iced tea. Perfect way to start our mountain morning. Don’t judge this place cause it’s connected to a gas station. Wonderful fresh breakfast 🍳”

“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!”

“We were the only customers the day we arrived at Cartecay Vineyards. We got a chance to talk to the lady working behind the bar. We shared a very nice glass of red wine, enjoyed the ambience of this place which had been built with reclaimed barn lumber that once graced this property. At the entrance to this place stands a fireplace, the only reminder that a family once lived here and worked the land.

The wine was delightful. I strongly recommend you try their red wines. We sure to look around the vineyard before leaving. The grounds are beautiful.

There are plenty of items in the gift shop to choose from.

“The setting is great and so is the staff! The wine has improved since their opening and you can make your own mind up on that, I think it’s average in a good way. The food is definitely the weak link, to say it’s inconsistent would be kind. The chicken on salads is usually dry and chewy, the sandwich bread overpowers the rest of the sandwich, etc. My impression is that their chef places a high priority on prep work and refrigeration, to the detriment of some of the dishes. Order something hot or roll the dice. I rarely waste my time leaving reviews but we so hope the food levels up to match the rest of Roo’s great experience because it’s kind of been like that since day 1.”

“Food was great. Service was excellent and atmosphere was more than expected. I had the pleasure of my car breaking down in this parking lot when they were closed. A lady I assume was the owner had dropped by and she gave me a cold drink and allowed me to wait for the tow truck inside in the a/c. I had passed by several times and always meant to stop. So I finally did and not only do the treat people how they want to be treated they were providing water and food for a stray dog. Good people in my book.”

“We’re out of towners in Ellijay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We almost ate someplace else because of some negative reviews about having to wait so long to get their food. We were seated immediately and our orders taken within 5 minutes. We had our food in 15-20 minutes. We’re glad we ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Good food and plenty of it.”

“I recently moved here from Florida, I saw Mr P’s on my way to my new apartment and figured I’d give it a try. My brother is a very picky eater whom rarely likes to eat out but he loves Mr. P’s spicy chicken sandwich on a bun wirh no ranch. Everyone here is so friendly and I absolutely love how homey the restaurant feels. Please, go show them some love and support!”

“The Double L restaurant is home cooking at a restaurant. The Double L obviously aims to try to satisfy many different “cravings” and therefore have multiple food options. Many meat; vegetable and dessert options to choose from! My family and I don’t eat out a lot as I have a home business, but when we do, we like to eat here. Try it, you’ll like it!”

The only complaint I would have is that I overheard the person behind the counter scaring a customer about certain things. Like taking the covid shots and how you will die after 5 years. They truly should stick to selling health food items and try not to scare their customers away.”

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.”

“There are 4 of us that travel together and we are always trying different restaurants. This is the first time all of us were extremely pleased with our food. My burger was the best I've ever had! I tried tasting just the meat, and omg I could have ate just the patty by itself it was so flavorful and juicy!”

“the last 2x i have been their food is not enoigh to make 1 8sandwhich. They have shorted me food and want my cc to charge it again for what i was shorted which was a tea. i also ordered extra piece of toast so that means they charged me $3 for 1 piece of toast. so now 2x in a row i was charged $14.96 for a chopped plate, 1 extra piece of toast, and a med tea.when i arrive to pick up my food they tell me they didn't charge me for a tea and want my cc to charge it for the tea. i told them to forget it. get home i don't even have enough meat to make a full sandwhich and that means they charged me $3.96 for 1 extra piece of toast cuz a chopped plate is 10.99. becareful they are ripping people off. i have called to speak to the manager and some little girl tells me she is the manager and that's her shift and that it is right and no one else for me to talk to so i will stop going if that is how they are going to do business. i ate my last plater from them this past Sunday. i Will not and do not recommend any one to eat from there”

“Visited this coffee house last week with friends and we enjoyed our stay. Had a wonderful server Jolie and can’t wait to come back again.”

“We arrived around 3pm, they close at 4pm. We were able to seat ourselves as business that time of day is always alot slower. There was one server on and she came right over and got our drink order. There were 4 of us and we made up our minds what to order pretty fast. The young lady put in our order and continued waiting on a few other tables. Our food arrived about 10 minutes later. Our food was cooked hot, fresh and each order was correct. We asked for a few condiments and she was back in a flash. She was Very personable and friendly with a sweet smile.
We had 2 orders of Country fried steak with white pepper gravy. 1 had mac and cheese, the other mashed potatoes and white gravy and turnip greens. 1 order of a bacon cheese omelet and 1 flounder dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was spot on, hot and delicious. They only complaint was packaged tartar sauce was too sweet and bland. Other than that we all enjoyed a wonderful late lunch for under $40! Plenty of food, like most authentic southern little restaurants. We tipped our server well and complimented the food. If we're ever back in Ellijay, we will be stopping back in!”

Women’s bathroom was shut down due to painting? That sucked. Otherwise kids had fun.”

“If you haven’t eaten at Cajun Depot Grill, you absolutely need to go! The food is absolutely amazing—flavorful, hearty, and cooked to perfection. But what truly makes this place special is the owner and staff. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. They remember you on return visits, ask about your family, and genuinely care about how you're doing. That hometown feel and personal touch make all the difference. You really can’t go wrong here. We’ve been dining here for years, and I’ve never had a single complaint. Highly recommend!”
