“While visiting Ellijay, it came a huge downpour so we stopped by Cartecay Vineyards to sample some wine. What an awesome and quaint place. Loved the rustic setting and Felicia was so nice and helpful. After trying a flight, we also had a peach wine slushy. That was the best wine slushy I have ever had. We had to purchase some of the wine to take home to Tennessee and also bought the custest wind chime made out of a wine bottle. We can't wait to go back on a sunny day to sit outside and look and the gorgeous vineyards. Highly recommend! Thank you, Felicia, for brining a little sunshine into our rainy afternoon!”

“We recently took our friends to spend an afternoon at Engelheim Vineyards. Everything was wonderful - nice wines, yummy British pies, charcuterie, beautiful scenery, and relaxing live music. The place is family owned and the owners are attentive and engaging. We went to see the wedding venue there and it is lovely! We highly recommend this vineyard in Ellijay!”

“Don’t let the full parking lot keep you away… this place will get you in and out. The food is fresh and fabulous, service is speedy. It’s 5 stars whether you go at 3:30 in the afternoon when they’re not busy or 6 o’clock on a Saturday evening when it is packed … these people are knocking it out of the park. This is what a veggie quesadilla is supposed to look like not just peppers and onions and they call it a day. Same great experience at the location in Jasper.”

“The Double L restaurant is home cooking at a restaurant. The Double L obviously aims to try to satisfy many different “cravings” and therefore have multiple food options. Many meat; vegetable and dessert options to choose from! My family and I don’t eat out a lot as I have a home business, but when we do, we like to eat here. Try it, you’ll like it!”

“We’re out of towners in Ellijay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We almost ate someplace else because of some negative reviews about having to wait so long to get their food. We were seated immediately and our orders taken within 5 minutes. We had our food in 15-20 minutes. We’re glad we ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Good food and plenty of it.”

“We had an excellent experience here from start to finish. The margarita selection was impressive, with plenty of great options to choose from. Service was prompt and attentive without feeling rushed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Our food arrived hot and fresh, and the flavors did not disappoint. The salsa was outstanding—fresh and flavorful. The steak in the street tacos was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right. This place clearly cares about quality and consistency. “Love the store. It has everything you're looking for in health food items. I purchase there when visiting Ellijay. The only complaint I would have is that I overheard the person behind the counter scaring a customer about certain things. Like taking the covid shots and how you will die after 5 years. They truly should stick to selling health food items and try not to scare their customers away.”

“We were looking for a pork shoulder on the 24th of December. They were very helpful and cut one in half for us since was too big. Had gone to 3 places and they were out since was too close to the holiday (christmas).”

“Just a classic. The food is comfort food to the core. I have had the Chuckwagon and Fried Bologna sandwiches, both were excellent and full of flavor. The okra, corn nuggets, tots and onion rings I tried as well, all were very delicious. “There are 4 of us that travel together and we are always trying different restaurants. This is the first time all of us were extremely pleased with our food. My burger was the best I've ever had! I tried tasting just the meat, and omg I could have ate just the patty by itself it was so flavorful and juicy!”

“My husband and I were craving good country cooking and found this place. When we pulled up we were hesitant to go in because the outside wasn't very appealing. However, we went in and to our surprise, the inside was very welcoming. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. Plenty of seating even though there were lots of people in there. I chose fried chicken, sweet potatoes and cabbage. I'm not a huge fan of chicken breast, but thats what they had so I got it. I am so glad I did, it was cooked perfectly, tender and big. My husband got hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and turnip greens, he enjoyed his as well. We are sad we just found this place because our vacation is now over, but I do highly recommend!!”

“We were heading home from Blue Ridge, GA and wanted a local breakfast. Our daughter found you online and we are so glad she did. We had french toast, bacon, eggs, grits, egg bake with gravy and of course pancakes. Our granddaughter loves pancakes and you can tell she’s happy! ? It was all delicious! We also enjoyed the couple playing and singing. What a great way to end our vacation.”

“the last 2x i have been their food is not enoigh to make 1 8sandwhich. They have shorted me food and want my cc to charge it again for what i was shorted which was a tea. i also ordered extra piece of toast so that means they charged me $3 for 1 piece of toast. so now 2x in a row i was charged $14.96 for a chopped plate, 1 extra piece of toast, and a med tea.when i arrive to pick up my food they tell me they didn't charge me for a tea and want my cc to charge it for the tea. i told them to forget it. get home i don't even have enough meat to make a full sandwhich and that means they charged me $3.96 for 1 extra piece of toast cuz a chopped plate is 10.99. becareful they are ripping people off. i have called to speak to the manager and some little girl tells me she is the manager and that's her shift and that it is right and no one else for me to talk to so i will stop going if that is how they are going to do business. i ate my last plater from them this past Sunday. i Will not and do not recommend any one to eat from there”
