Walker's Fried Pies Barbeque

A real hidden gem not easily found by accident. We have driven by many times and would never have stopped if not for the reviews found here. A small group of locals play live string music on Friday nights that make for an enjoyable dinner experience. Service was a bit slow possibly because they were making boxes full of fried pies to take somewhere else during Apple Festival weekend. After a long day of spontaneous, un mapped hiking we found this little gym on a quest for fuel, alas we were not dissapointed, friendly folks, quick service and delicious BBQ! A peerfect balance of vinegar and sugar base. Coleslaw was unlike anything I had ever experienced, but greatly enjoyed with its prominent flavor of black pepper, would be a great accoutrement to their B-B-Que sandwhich served between two slices of garlic toast.
