“Ate at the Fayetteville location on the week of opening. We were excited to have them so close by, however, we did not have a great experience on opening week. I got 1/4 chicken plate. The chicken was much more bone than meat. Beans were bland. Variety of sauces is disappointing. Most southern BBQ restaurants have brunswick stew, which is a big reason for going there. I live only about a mile from the restaurant, however, I will not likely be going again.“

“Gina is a great server. i walked in an hour before close with three folks from Australia for some BBQ. We had a feast! Gina told us about her faves, gave us a little Pit Boss history, and served us some fantastic ‘cue. I had sliced brisket, some fantastic Brunswick (aka “camp”) stew, and tried several of my friend’s’ sides. Don’t sleep on the collards. I’m really picky about barbecue, but they’re hot barbecue sauce was great. Also, the owner has his own recipe for pepper sauce for the collars, and it was outstanding. I was even impressed with the potato salad and coleslaw, both really good. One friend had some cheesy, creamy mashed potatoes that were fantastic. The baked beans were good, but quite sweet, and frankly, much improved with a dash of the pepper sauce. Portions were ample. Beer selection was really good! I went home with food, and ate it again, another day very happily.
Note: they have moved from their much smaller digs across the street, and I believe the owner now owns this building. It is much improved and really a nice space. I loved it. I would definitely recommend it.“

“Based on experience, when a business brag on their food, it usually doesn’t measure up. Happy to say, this was not the case with Screen House. The smoked wings and ribs were flavorful. When you don’t need sauce, it’s truly a sign of well seasoned meat. Although the Mac and cheese and greens were not the freshest, they were still tasty and I’ll attribute it to the time of day. I will absolutely add the restaurant to my rotation and look forward to tasting other delicacies.“

They shared with us their restaurant business and we decided after the breakfast was over, We went to reciprocate. And boy were we glad we did. That was hands-down The best barbecue I’ve ever had in my entire life. Now let’s talk about the sides. I think my wife bought one of every side they had available. And 2 cups of Brunswick stew. “My sister and I are both well-traveled. We've enjoyed barbeque at top restaurants in places like Thailand, Fuji, Morocco, Hawaii, Australia, and Toronto. Having done so, we continue to return to our favorite BQ restaurant Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ. Rodney Scott’s barbeque set the standard for not only Atlanta, but world-wide restaurants. R.S.W.H.B.B.Q is more than “exceptional”. The portion sizes are huge, the vegetables are well seasoned, the potato salad is kick your shoes off good. However, the pork ribs, boned in chicken, and brisket exceed the norm on taste and desirability. The BBQ meats are so delicious that you will find yourself eating first, second, third... “They know how to toss fries in sauce.
Costs about 1 and a half dollars extra to request for them to toss the fries, but is worth it if you love your fries tossed due to the cheaper prices(it's below 10 dollars, but tossing fires raises the price) compared to elsewhere to get a 6 piece wings combo.
(Btw tossed fries are fries coated in sauce)
Also costs extra to get extra blue cheese, but that's not an issue.
They don't have tea, but they have a menu variety and an atmosphere, so I would recommend this place to the rest of my family members.
The main reason why I put 10-20 dollars as the cost is that the average and anything but the 6 wing combo by itself costs more than 10 dollars but mostly stays below 20.“

“Let me start by saying, I have one word and that is SUPERB!!!!!! After a day of errands, Shauni and I were ready to eat. After executing a search on Yelp, I came across GQ BBQ and we decided to pull up. Y’all know I love me some BBQ. Upon arrival, the location was super to find as it sits on the main road. When pulling into the parking lot there is parking on both sides as well as parking in the back. The outside was clean and vibrant. We knew we were in for a treat as we were able to smell the bbq before even getting to the restaurant. Yes, the power of a good aroma to captivate the sense of smell. 😜 Heading inside, the location kept with the vibrant color on the walls as to draw your eyes to the menu. There are ample seating options as well so if you desire to eat in as we did, there is indoor and outdoor seating. Taking some time to review the menu, I decided on the Rib Dinner with Baked Beans, Collards, and I ordered two orders of cornbread as well and decided to not get the white bread that comes with the meal. To note, the cornbread is an extra charge. Once our order was placed, we took a seat and enjoyed the games that were playing on the televisions. As we were engrossed in conversation, before we knew it, our food was ready. I retrieved my plate and headed to my seat. The moment I opened that plate, my entire life smiled. After being enticed by the aromas, I was now overtaken by the visual presentation of this meal. As I opted for the sauce on the side, I was able to see the ribs in their naked state and capture the full fragrance of seasoned pork without the coverings of sauce. Babeeeeeeeeeee, GQ BBQ showed off with this meal. Let’s talk the food: Ribs: well seasoned, tender, meaty, minimal gristle, the right amount of fat for a nice chew, great portion size as the dish comes with ribs and rib tips. The sauce was an added layer of joy. I opted to mix their Gresham blend with the Sweet and my mouth had a full mouthgasm of robust flavors, joy, and excitement. These ribs were the absolute bomb with or without the sauce. Baked Beans: perfectly cooked, well seasoned, fresh. Collards: well doctored, tender,perfect pairing for the ribs. Cornbread: absolute gold status, perfectly sweet, cakey with a light crumble, buttery, golden baked, worth the extra cost. The cornbread is slightly small, so I would suggest getting three. LoL. Overall, GQ BBQ was an amazing experience. The ribs dominate the meal as they should, however, the sides compliment the ribs very well. The entire meal is a 10/10 and I will be back very soon for another order. Though I live nowhere near GQ BBQ, I will make sure to make my am way back a few times a year to have my soul fed and taste buds tantalized.“

“I had the pleasure of having Doneshia as my server. She was very attentive and took care of my every request in a timely manner. I was very appreciative of her service. I had asked for unseasoned fries, they came out seasoned, She corrected it right away. Sadly the fries that came out were not that great. It actually looked and tasted like they took seasoned fries and put them back in the fryer to remove the seasoning.
It was quite obvious to me that she was there to do a great job and she did. She can’t control how the food comes out. Also, she was not part of the group of servers who made it look they were there for social hour which was incredibly annoying. This group hung out at the hostess station (I sat right in front of it) and made guests in line wait until their conversation was completed before they were acknowledged or they were out in the concourse talking with friends. Doneshia did not engage in that behavior. She was quite professional and did a great job. She definitely deserved the almost 50% tip that I left. I highly recommend Doneshia and will ask for her when I’m back at the Atlanta Airport again.“

“I come here at LEAST 3x a week. The wings are ALWAYS FRESH & FIRE ? ALWAYS!! I will say that I personally never order anything besides the wings only. I may someday try the fried rice. The reason for the 4stars is because my very very very 1st x coming here I tried a gyro ? & wings. The gyro was DISGUSTING & COLD!! However, the wings were GOODT. Which is why i continued to come back for the wings. Now, every time i go i get wings only & they are literally ALWAYS fresh & fire !!! I can’t recommend variety from them at the time but i DO recommend the wings & i recommend u give them a try ??“

“Y'all I live right down the street, I've been to the liquor store where this Pit house is stationed many times and never really paid it any attention so when the GPS took me here to fulfill my BBQ craving I was skeptical 😅 but I was shocked to learn this place serves some really good food. Her portion size for her price is unbeatable. She gave me Ms Cleo vibes too😍 lol she was kind to me, I mean she greeted me when I walked up to the window and was swift with my plate. Idk what more you could ask for. I got the large rib tips plate with the 2 sides (mac & collards) & it was only $15. It also came with a slice of bread on top but I immediately grabbed that and munched it down. She does not take card payments but she does have a sign up that gives you the option to apple pay or cash app. Thank you so much ma'am. I got full and couldn't finish it. I will suggest getting the BBQ sauce on the side like I did so you can have other dipping options at home. I also got the banana pudding and it was the jello pudding kind idk if I'm saying that right but it was ok. I will definitely be returning to try the chicken next.“
