“Unassuming little storefront tucked away next to a gas station - popped into it for lunch; they were super hospitable, offered free cornbread and orange juice after we’d ordered our food. The fried chicken and bbq ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens were fantastic. 10/10 would come back for more.“

“Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. The DJ was on point, the ambiance was hittin like it needed to be, and the overall flow of the environment was ideal for a kick it/unwind/grab a drink type of vibe.“

“Tried this restaurant on a lark. Outstanding! We had the lamb chops green beans and broccoli. Excellent. And the red velvet cake topped off a great meal. It is definitely on my "new favorites " list and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal.“

“We decided to check out Virgil’s on the spur of the moment while we were in Atlanta… from us entering the door, manager Nassier made us feel welcome and thoroughly explained the menu. Food average like a 5/10 . Mango lemonade was pretty good! So many things to choose from hopefully I can go back and taste something better.“

“Magic City Kitchen lived up the the hype with its wings. I don’t even know where to get as good of wings in Atlanta. The LouWill Lemon Pepper bbq flavor was the perfect taste and the Sweet Potato Fries were even great.FYI, they have a beyond burger as a vegan option.“

“I use to live near Lewis’s place and would stop by as often as possible after the gym. Today had passed by after over a year of moving away. Lewis remembered me, also I had problem with my card Lewis took care of me. He is good folk and has great food! I’m a customer for life!!!“

“Good customer.This restaurant has a wide variety of food to offer. I had the Alabama Chicken Pasta. It was delicious, however the name is misleading. It doesn't come with pasta. It's a melody of peppers, broccoli, onions, and chicken. It is cooked in a white sauce, but not Alfredo. It also came with 2 sides that was included in the price. They also have a steady flow of customers which is a good sign. Overall I had a great experience.“

“This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.“

The only item im NOT a fan of surprisingly is the “Mac & Cheese” but as far as all the other SIDES I’ve had ????? Turkey wings were good but could've been more tender. Cabbage and Mac and cheese (nah, not good) Philly Cheese Steak ( salty as hell) Do Not Try if you have Diabetes. Definitely a waste of money. Cornbread Dressing tasted more like cornbread (says my husband) Her customer service is GREAT!!! She's friendly and understanding. We will definitely order again. CATFISH, FRIED CHICKEN AND JERK CHICKEN were entree. Most tried at least 2 and all were very pleased. I am sure if we lived close by thIS would become OUR HANGOUT.
