The limited soft drink options was a disappointment and the entertainment was just a family fun time. Overall. a very nice 3 hours (approximately) which was just long enough to not get boring. “I took my best friend for a belated birthday brunch this week. We were both completely blown away! The decor was beautiful, the greeter was warm and friendly. Our server was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Several other servers stopped by to check on us as well. The food came quickly and it was amazing. The Chicken and Waffles were superb. The catfish and grits were so good, I actually started liking catfish! The collards and mac n cheese are what dreams are made of. I'm serious, these are the best around. Every detail in this new restaurant has been thoughtfully worked out, down to the separate lidded cups juicy leftover. The cups fit perfectly inside the takeout containers. What a wonderful addition to the Lawrenceville food scene. I only wish they had opened in Buford! However, I will be back, and I'm bringing friends!“

“Very clean and simple layout featuring a sushi bar as you walk in and both indoor and outdoor seating.

We were greeted quickly and shown to a table immediately.

Our complete order ended up being: 2 waters, 1 cold green tea, 5 rolls, 1 Chef's Nigiri, and 2 Green Tea Ice Creams.

We were presented with miso soup to begin, along with kimchi, shredded daikon, marinated broccoli, and pickled onion.

Loved that they gave us soup spoons and chopsticks without the usual fork, knife, and spoon.

For the rolls we ordered Garlic Crunch Roll, Hide and Seek Roll, Mango Tango Roll, Volcano Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll.

Nigiri was fresh and their rice was good.

I don't know where/who they get the green tea ice cream from, but it was the perfect ending for the meal.

Have easily spent the same amount at flashier, popular sushi places and gotten lower quality, so this was a solid homerun in our book.“

“Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. We had espresso martinis, made with vodka. They were really good and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, they do not contain dairy. We went back on Sunday for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lady who was our bartender on Saturday. She immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. We were seated right away and the server also recognized us, even though he had not waited on us on Saturday. He also provided exceptional service. My husband had the brisket tostada served with a runny egg on top. He really enjoyed it and I had a bite. Definitely something we would order again. I had their shrimp and grits. I am normally not one to eat grits, but these were so good, I couldn’t stop myself. They were served with a tomato sauce the was spicy, andouille sausage and roasted red peppers. It was so good! I can hardly wait to have my leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, my husband devoured his Brisket Tostada, so no leftovers there. Overall, I cannot recommend Local Republic enough for their exceptional food and service. Their prices are reasonable as well. Our tab on Sunday, which included one more espresso martini, was only $51.“

I let our waiter know and he got his manager, they decided to put tape on the chair. While I was letting our waiter know the lady beside us also told him about her chair tearing her pants too. This is just a warning because I would hate for a child or someone to get cut or have their clothes ruin from their metal chairs! I do recommend the jalapeno margarita 💚💚“

We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. “This place I go on the regular, most of the times it’s during my lunch break. Every meal comes with a free can soda before 3pm and a gentle smile from the person taking your order. This is a must try. The picture is shrimp fried rice with garlic parm wings“

“I'll probably never go to IHOP again. Here's the deal: Sometimes my daughters just want pancakes or waffles, but I'm keto so this is a problem. Omelets are the obvious solution. Cracker Barrel is not conveniently located for us, and they don't have waffles. At IHOP they proudly boast that their omelets have a splash of pancake batter in the mix. (Why? Who thought this was a good idea?)

At pancake house, they make a fantastic omelet. I order it with bacon, sausage and cheddar. They don't just crumble up a slice of bacon. It's filled with and covered by bacon and sausage. Meaty goodness in every bite. I get a fruit cup on the side that has a keto sized portion of melon.

My daughter got the chicken and waffles. It looked amazing. The syrup was served hot. The chicken was golden-brown and thick and juicy.

The service is always great here. It was busy but not crowded. The meal arrived promptly and exactly as ordered.

I got back to the office and opened my food. Oh my....the biscuit and gravy was a very generous portion. It was delicious. It's been hard finding a place with that homemade sausage gravy. The grits were also a very generous portion. Not too runny and not too thick. Just perfect. Looking forward to going back and trying the BBQ.“

The taste is def there but one thing that was kind of off is if you chop the wings in half shouldnt it be 8 pieces? I only got 6. Anyway the price is reasonable. I also got a shrimp egg roll but it was just ok. Def a pick up only spot, no eating there.“
