“After several calls to Rock City Garden (no direct number to cafe), I wanted to check on this location for an anniversary lunch. I was given restaurant hours which included Monday’s. I was reluctantly transferred to cafe for other questions. Interestingly, the chef answered my call responding cafe was closed on Monday’s. Only light hor-d’oeuvre’s served on Monday’s which Rock City Gardens (how convenient when selling $50+ park passes) failed to disclose. The chef was strange up with help (5*’s); not so much with RCG’s. So Beware what’s lurking behind a phone call! Wish there was a way to Cafe 7 without going through a garden, particularly Rock City Garden.“

“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!“

“Holy crap. We only came to Chattanooga for my daughter's graduation and stopped here for lunch because it was near the venue, but this place... BEST BURGERS I've ever eaten! The staff were all super friendly and they even made a delayed to-go order so I could take a fresh lunch back to my kiddo when she got out of her practice. The aesthetic of the place was wonderful and people from all walks of life gathered there as if they, too, knew about the magic in the food. 12/10 will absolutely come back on my next visit to Chattanooga.“

CBC has powered through all the diversity to create a unique atmosphere which invites everyone to enjoy quality dinning while playing some pool or throwing darts. It also houses an array of fine cigars to smoke following your meal. It has 2 full service bars which allows you to choose which environment you prefer, downstairs has sports bar feel while upstairs has 12 pool tables with an on-demand jukebox to blast your favorite music. “I’ve only been into this establishment twice and although I was irritated because I was unable to place a call in order so that I could walk in and grab my order, pay and then walk out, I understood that the server was by herself both times.

She completely made up for it all because she was a very kind and professional lady and I was not only impressed with her work ethic but also equally impressed at the fact that although she was overwhelmed she pushed through it all and was a server and a cook that made things happen for the customers.

This woman deserves not only a raise but also some sort of recognition from the company because it isn’t her fault that nobody wants to come to work.

Keep up the good work whatever your name is. I will be back just to see her in action again because she completely knocked it out of the ball park both times that I’ve been into this establishment.“

Our server Mary was beyond amazing! She was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very fast with our order and made sure to check on us frequently. I overheard two staff members talking and it was one of the girls first weeks I think, and the other staff member was encouraging her which is always great to hear.
The reason I'm leaving four stars though, is because the manager on shift seemed to be under the influence and was talking about other staff members loud enough for us to hear. Not very professional in my opinion and doesn't set a welcoming environment for guest. You could his frustration with one area not being to his cleaning standards and how the waitress could finish sweeping the rest of the area.“

“My fiancé and I had dinner there last night and had the best experience. Ezra was our server and took great care of us. We started with the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and the award winning wings. They were some of the best wings we have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and double fried. My fiancé had the 1885 Burger and I chose the lightly battered and fried flounder with a side of mac and cheese. His burger looked and tasted amazing. It was a big and juicy burger cooked a perfect medium temp. My flounder we absolutely delicious. So light and fresh. The Mac and cheese was real Mac and cheese. Very creamy and baked with bread crumbs on top. We also really enjoyed cocktails and agree we would give the 1885 grill 5 Stars!“

“🤯 we love to try bbq anywhere we go and sugars is definitely one you should stop in and try when you’re in Chattanooga. We got the ribs, sampler taco, brisket poppers, fried grilled corn, and spicy okra chips. The brisket popper is a jalapeño popper filled with cheese brisket and topped with I believe their house salsa- so flavorful. The taco sampler comes with a brisket, pulled pork and chicken taco. Each taco has cilantro, onion and radish and a crema or aioli sauce. My favorite was the brisket then the pulled pork. The. The ribs which were delicious and perfectly cooked without any sauce we sampled all of the sauces on a bite and our favorite was the red wine vinegar and chili sauce. So unique. Everything was unexpected but delicious. So happy we stopped in for lunch.“

However, my fiance and I went here on a whim yesterday, and for the first time in a few years, our food was really good. It was fresh and made properly, my steak was cooked right, the rolls weren’t rock solid, etc. The food was great. We also had the best service I think we’ve ever had there. I cannot remember her name, but she had dark hair and the cutest Christmas themed nails. We were never missing drinks, always had what we needed, she was very friendly, and overall we had a great experience. If all of the servers were like her and all of the cooks did as great as yesterday, we’d come back a whole lot more.“

“My son and daughter in law and I ate at Hello Monty last night. The atmosphere was very nice and the host was great. Our waitress was outstanding. She took care of us the whole time we were there. “Atmosphere would be less if it could be....we frequent this location lately as my MIL has had multiple surgeries nearby.....and there's nothing else to say except that it is HOT ? INSIDE THE RESTAURANT....ITS MISERABLE AND that is really unfortunate because of the fact that the service and even the food has been above par especially for huddle house....but it makes trying to enjoy a meal impossible when you are sweating as soon as you sit down .....even the employees have commented that it's ridiculously hot ......“
