“After several calls to Rock City Garden (no direct number to cafe), I wanted to check on this location for an anniversary lunch. I was given restaurant hours which included Monday’s. I was reluctantly transferred to cafe for other questions. Interestingly, the chef answered my call responding cafe was closed on Monday’s. Only light hor-d’oeuvre’s served on Monday’s which Rock City Gardens (how convenient when selling $50+ park passes) failed to disclose. The chef was strange up with help (5*’s); not so much with RCG’s. So Beware what’s lurking behind a phone call! Wish there was a way to Cafe 7 without going through a garden, particularly Rock City Garden.“

“The food was exceptional but the experience was top notch bc of our server Ray. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable of the food, went above and beyond for us and her fellow servers to help when things got busy. Best service we’ve had in a long time. Overall, one of my favorite spots we have eaten at in Chattanooga. Highly recommend and ask for Ray!“

“A brunch all day restaurant is the perfect addition to the southside. I walk here, but there is a nice free parking lot adjacent. The bagels are the real deal, the tots are delicious, great options for everyone. I have loved everything I’ve tried. So far, my favorites: the French toast, the avocado toast with egg, and I love their thin crust pizza. Drinks, coffee drinks, great service - all the things that make me happy!“

“We visited the area for the first time since this gem opened. We had such an enjoyable experience and meal at the chef’s counter Friday night that we sat there again for Sunday brunch. We really enjoyed the staff and how committed and excited they are to put really great food out of the kitchen. We will definitely come back when we visit the area!“

“Food and service were amazing, as always. We were shocked to have to now pay for parking!! A $300 dinner and we have to pay for parking! We were told by the staff they have to pay for parking as well! And don’t the owners also own the parking lot? Possibly this isn’t the best policy!“

“12.5.25 My husband and I came into town for a 7pm show at Solder and Sailor Auditorium. We stopped by this diner for a quick bite. The service and Seafood bisque, Chicken Salad on Rye, Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Texas fries all Amazing! We met some friends there the following morning and NOT SO AMAZING! 3 of us ordered the Denver Omelet had no flavor and wouldn't order again and the 4th person ordered the Hobo Banquet. The Hobo Banquet 1 of the eggs weren't cooked and so runny she couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't come back to check on us and it was busy so she ate what she could. They offer a huge menu and I would probably give them 1 more try.“

“Today my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Southern Star. We both had your food bar, and it was filled with healthy as well as good, old fashioned comfort food. My husband loves chicken and dressing, your special today, as well as cornbread, so I bought him a portion to go. When I got home, I warmed it up for him, and of course, he loved it too! I was glad that I grabbed some of your baked goods, and so far, we have devoured the HUGE ginger snap cookie!!! “We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. The cocktails were also yum. You definitely get your monies worth. It seems like a great place to work and a wonderful atmosphere. We can't wait to go back. Great job!“

“Holy crap. We only came to Chattanooga for my daughter's graduation and stopped here for lunch because it was near the venue, but this place... BEST BURGERS I've ever eaten! The staff were all super friendly and they even made a delayed to-go order so I could take a fresh lunch back to my kiddo when she got out of her practice. The aesthetic of the place was wonderful and people from all walks of life gathered there as if they, too, knew about the magic in the food. 12/10 will absolutely come back on my next visit to Chattanooga.“

“The food is consistently good. However, that store needs a serious cleaning. Our table had a very large wet/ dirty floor, probably an area over 3 foot in diameter. This was at our feet! The credit card scanner was grungy and is desperate need of wiping it down away well. The waiter did a good job.“

The employees are very kind and include me in conversations between themselves, which makes it feel much more like an at-home breakfast than just going to any restaurant for a quick bite to eat.

The food has always been fantastic. I've gotten the MVP breakfast both times because I can get all of my breakfast favorites in one meal! Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy, AND unlimited coffee for only ~$15 which is fantastic in my opinion. It always leaves me perfectly full.

If I plan to go out for breakfast, I'll probably be coming here 90% of the time. Affordable and enjoyable. Thank you guys!“

“We come here quite often cuz I love their steak pasta, it’s always really good. Today we had Abbi for the first time as our sever and she was awesome! It’s always a hit or miss if we get rolls, even when we ask for them, but she made sure to bring us some and even offered another basket fresh out of the oven. She also checked on us a few times and was very friendly in general. Definitely had to leave a review this time cuz she was awesome!“

“My wife and I arrived a few minutes early but were immediately seated. We ordered the trout almondine with green beans with a side of mashed potatoes and a green salad. We accompanied this with a white wine (pinot grigio). The food was excellent in every regard. This was our anniversary and we were offered complimentary deserts with coffee. We had dined at Public House last year on our anniversary and used our $10 off card. The waitress was attentive and presented us with another $10 off card for use next year. We will be back for this occasion again for sure but also will be eating at this fine establishment other times throughout the year. The prices here are very reasonable. Chattanooga is lucky to have this restaurant.“

“I was doordashing, stopped in to pick up the order, never been to this location before. The manager was at the door and politely opened the door for me and automatically greeted me and was so sweet! He could read me quick and showed me where to pick up the order and really impressed me. If I had not already gotten a new job I would have asked for his name and let him know I would apply. I would work for him in a Heart beat! When complimenting to another worker she seemed very proud of her manager and was very happy to hear my review. That told me this man knows how to run a business, how to treat his employees and still be amazing! Keep up the awesome work!!“
