“Sitting as a single has its challenges but not this night.In fact when in this particular restaurant I’m usually seated pretty quickly. I’m a big fan of the Pot Roast and was not disappointed. My server,Lena, was an absolute joy . Always doing her job but somehow, managing to make me feel like I was the only customer in the place.
Having waited tables, tended bar I know how hard this is to do. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Keeps me coming back.“

“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!“

“Have always loved this chain and was super happy discovering this location when we first moved to the area. They constantly have new stuff to try seasonally, from the food to the drinks. Speaking of drinks, this is the only restaurant I’ve found in Chattanooga that always has my favorite IPA on draft - New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze.

Delicious food, good service, fun artwork (like the one I included here), and a chill atmosphere perfect for a date or bringing your whole family. Highly recommended!“

“We celebrated my daughter's birthday at J.Alexander's near Hamilton Place Mall, and I have to say their carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had—rich, creamy, and a must-try for any dessert lover. The menu also offers a great variety of options for vegetarians, and the other dishes we tried were pretty good as well. It’s a fantastic spot for special occasions or just a sweet treat!“

“My wife and I got an order here when we stayed at the adjoining motel this past week. I got an Italian omelet with home fries, which was perfect in flavor (my wife tasted the omelet and agreed), and was large enough for a second meal. She absolutely loves the biscuits. Also, the service was fantastic. First time we ate there, but not the last. It's worth driving from Indianapolis to enjoy. “I’m a very picky eater and when a friend suggested my husband and I eat at Haven’s with him we agreed. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one. Seriously, it was hard to leave there with out ordering two or three meals to go. Since we live in Cleveland Haven's will see us at LEAST once a week. The girls there are precious and the food is cooked after you order. Such a Fantastic place!!!“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“On our way back to Michigan we stopped in Chattanooga. We asked a local where to get a good burger and he said Armando's had the best.....and he was right.
Just a small diner with stellar service and prices. The burger was great and the service was even better. Super cheap too.“

“It's a little tough to get off of i-75. I will tell you it is absolutely worth the drive to find this place. The food was delicious! Anytime that I'm driving in that area I definitely am going to stop again. They had homemade desserts sitting right at the door as you walked in. The service was fabulous! The food was 10 times better than that. If you're wanting good home cooked food this is the place to go to. Feel like I was at my grandmother's.“

“Went in on July 4th night and there was only one cook and one waitress. Completely understand what it is like to be short handed so we were super patient. The waitress was Shannon and she handled it so well. Her and the cook worked so well together. I was thoroughly impressed and appreciated how well they were working to give us the best service possible considering it was just the two of them trying to handle so many customers.“
