“My husband and I decided to go on an impromptu brunch date and realized we hadn't been to Aquaterra Bistro in quite a while. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it!

The atmosphere has a relaxed, casual feel while still feeling special enough for a date. We started with the smoked cream cheese appetizer, and it was incredible. The blackberry preserve and citrus mustard paired perfectly with the smoked cream cheese and created a combination of flavors that was absolutely delicious. Easily a 10/10 dish and something I'd order again in a heartbeat.

For our main course, we both chose the seafood omelet. We were pleasantly surprised by how generously it was filled with crab and shrimp. Combined with plenty of cheese, it was rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

Overall, it was a wonderful brunch experience with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back for another date soon!“

“We arrived about 30 minutes prior to their posted closing time. We are quick to order and typically eat quickly. They seemed hesitant to seat us, I actually called from the host stand to request to be seated as everyone was avoiding us. Once we were seated, our server was great and the food was decent.“

“Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was pretty chill for a late morning. Ordered plate of biscuits and gravy with red hot sausage and an orange juice. The gravy was smooth and warm with the red hot giving a good amount of spice. Very curious to see what else was offered, I returned a few days later to get a burger to go as is advertised on their sign up front. The burger was surprisingly juicy and delicious. What even more surprising was learning that Mama Ruth’s has been around since 1975! With a diverse menu and friendly customer service, I can see why it has continued to thrive.“

“Went here for brunch with a group of friends from church. The atmosphere inside was vibrant coming off like an old diner with Las Vegas memorabilia on the walls. The menu was expansive with many options to choose from. I ordered their special Elvis cakes which were 3 pancakes covered in banana slices, peanut butter chips, and powdered sugar. The cakes were quite filling with no additional condiments needed. I also ordered a small bowl of their fried potatoes which were surprisingly good! Service was excellent despite the large crowd of people. Overall a great place to go for breakfast/brunch.“

But you want to eat it before it gets cold. For the meal, my husband enjoyed his wings. My Asian shrimp bowl (because wings aren't my favorite) was okay, with a large amount of rice and 5-6 shrimp. I would not order it again. Stick with the chicken entrees. The restaurant was very chilly, great for the employees I'm sure, but I should have brought in a sweater.“

The dumplings are fantastic, and the marinated cucumbers are a must-try. I live in Cleveland and make the drive to Dawsonville just to eat here. “I love Culvers burgers and their fries, eat there for lunch once a week. it was cold out today and I thought a bowl of chili would be good. Ordered the chili supreme, paid for extra onions, cheese and sour creme, no sour creme on the tray, they told me they were out of it. you could have let me know before hand, I would have skipped that part of the order. $10.54 for a little bowl of chili, hardly any meat in it, fries and a drink, what a disappointing meal.“

“We went there on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful, very generous breakfast. No frills but good food and great prices. If you are looking for fancy pictures and dishes, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for good food at a great price and very generous portions, you have found your spot. Definitely try it!“

“The interior has exposed brick and such a great, cozy vibe. It was packed when we got there, so we ended up sitting at the bar but honestly, it worked out perfectly. The bar seating was comfortable and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun.

Service was great from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything even with how busy it was.

The food was just as good as the atmosphere. The steak was cooked beautifully and paired perfectly with green beans and sweet potato fries. The fried pickles were crispy with just the right crunch and dipping sauce. And the seared tuna dish was fresh, flavorful, and plated so nicely.
