“Food was great but service left something to be desired, waitresses were pretty good. The guys cooking food were having a very loud convo about a topic that should have been had in private. I do not need the ins and outs of your prison "love affair" or hearing you make suggestive hints to the other cook while trying to enjoy my breakfast with my wife. I didn't sign up for the meal and ex-con love connection deal“
“My 1st time here n my daughter took me, the waitress was incredible and every other person we came in contact w/ were extremely kind n the food was really good as well.Parking: Nothing much really just that it is a shared parking lot w/ other stores but there is def more then enough room 4 everyone.Kid-friendliness: The people are chipper n they seemed 2 have a great kids menu.“
“They helped us pull off a birthday celebration from out of state. Rachel, their event manager was SO VERY HELPFUL and communicated often with me. She went above and beyond to make this a special, and beautiful occasion for our mom's 80th birthday party. I was able to ship decorations, and she had them ready for us. All of our guests raved about the private room and the delicious food. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aqua Terra Bistro. 5 PLUS STARS“
“@antebellumrestaurant in Flowery Branch offers a taste of the old South with its charming atmosphere and mouthwatering dishes. While parking can be a bit tricky if the street spots are full, the restaurant's cozy, dimly lit interior sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. For starters, we indulged in the grilled bread topped with pimento cheese, Benton's country ham, and wild arugula. It was the perfect way to kick off our meal, with flavors that left us craving more.My wife opted for the braised beef bolognese with house-made potato gnocchi and goat cheese, and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. As for me, I couldn't resist the grilled Atlantic salmon paired with crispy cheddar grit cake. Every bite was pure perfection, and I found myself wishing the dish would never end.Dessert provided a sweet ending to our meal, and the staff made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our visit.Overall, Antebellum earns a solid five out of five Roli stars for its fantastic food, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Southern hospitality.“
“Good burger's, bbq &seafood - nice location on lakefront usually some breeze off the water - friendly attentive service - $$ to $$$ - usually very busy but not overly crowded & not too loud - casual family atmosphere and plenty of parking spaces“
“I’ve heard that this place was good from many people but they didn’t say it was THIS good! Love the decor of the pictures of the world and the laid back vibe. My group of 5 had a variety of items but the Royal Rooster chicken sandwich, fried green tomatoes, corned beef, chicken Cuban and firecracker shrimp were amazing! I personally had the Royal Rooster which was seasoned well and had a nice level of spice with the habanero sauce. I will definitely be going back!“
“A restaurant stumbled upon by chance on Google reviews. Had a delightful meal with my child. Trying to avoid salty foods for the kids’ health, but the nuggets and fries here are a hit with them! The burgers are delicious. Above all, the Buffalo wings are a must-try. The fusion of Korean-style fried chicken with the house hot sauce is absolutely perfect.Definitely coming back again, 100%!“
“How I LOVE this coffee house, lunch place! The food is VERY good, the coffee is alao VERY good and the whole place is warm, welcoming, and the atmosphere homey, down to earth and comforting. The owners are fantastic folks and I saw many customers who knew other customers coming in. What a great place in Flowery Branch!!“
“In a couple of words Cotton Calf was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I went on a date night. We had the calamari, signature cocktails, chopped salad, Delmonico ribeye, truffle fries, and the bread pudding for dessert. We got to sit at I guess, what would be considered a chef's table directly across from the kitchen facing the kitchen so that we could see the staff and all the food being prepared which was really interesting and entertaining. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous, the ambiance was on point for a date night and we were very well attended to without our server being overbearing. Everything that we had food-wise was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The drinks were well poured and delivered above and beyond expectations. This was our second time going and we had the same experience the first time we went. The bread pudding was the best I have ever had in my life. My wife and I always order bread pudding when we see it on a menu and this was top notch. I'm not going to say that in this case you get what you pay for because we've been to other restaurants that we could eat at for about half the price, but in this case I wouldn't change anything and the high price tag didn't lessen my experience at all. We will definitely be going again.“
“We live so close and so often forget this hidden gem. Great spot to sit out on the deck for dinner at the lake and welcome in spring. The grouper fingers are a staple and ah-mazing! Everything was great! If you’re lucky enough to sit in Brandi Q’s section, you won’t be disappointed. Great service, super attentive, and just a wonderful human being to chat with for a few. Thanks for a nice evening out!“
“First time here and won't be the last. The owner, Bill was super friendly and hooked me up with a free sausage on the house. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. There was enough pork to make two sandwiches. It's refreshing to know there are still places like this that aren't in it for just the money.“
“I have been to this restaurant countless times and have always ordered the filet which is always very good. Tonight I decided to try something different and ordered the trout almondine….big mistake. Absolutely no flavor and very dry. Server was great and so was all other “
“This place is amazing!! So glad we stopped for breakfast. The food was so delicious. Straight up country cooking done right. And the ladies that work here are all second to none! Amazing service! If we ever travel here again, we will certainly return!“
“If you are looking for good, Southern, home cooking, look no further. This is the place for comfort food. I've been eating here since 2000. I moved out of state for 8 years & tried to eat here when I came back for visits. I've moved back and I still enjoy eating here. The food is consistently good & the portions are generous. My favorite is "Chicken 'n Dressing" on Thursdays. No other home cooking restaurants around here serve this dish. I always enjoy eating here.“
“This is a small quaint restaurant that has the mom and pop atmosphere and southern hospitality, geared more towards the older generation it’s a peaceful spot for a good meal. The food is everything you expect from a southern cafe with all the flavor and hospitality along with it. The food is priced in low range and you will get a good meal for a few bucks.“
“Just moved to the area. Tried this place recently. And the smoked chicken and pulled pork combo that I had was absolutely fantastic. I tell you what the pork was solid. Even excellent. Selection of sauces. Really nice. But the smoked chicken and I'm a big fan of chicken, that could be the star of any plate. It was fantastic. As was the Brunswick stew, and I can't remember the other side that I had but I remember it being good. The guys there were friendly, willing to talk a little Barbecue! This place is worth going out of your way to get to if you need to, definitely a good BBQ joint!“
“This was our korean bbq and hotpot experience and our server, Flako, was awesome and helped us through the whole ordering process. Resteraunt was very clean and so where the bathrooms! Very fun experience, would be great for birthdays, date nights and anniversaries! Will definitely have to come back again and try more options!“
“The small dining area was very quaint and our server was extremely professional and courteous. The food was immaculate in both portion size and taste. My only complaint is the coffee tasted old and poor. But I highly recommend Local Station and will most definitely be back.“
“Absolutely loved it. Seating was friendly. I'd recommend adding some type of ventilation where the front doors are so that way we won't feel the cold draft that comes inside when people exit and leave. Other than that small complaint I think it's very cozy atmosphere and the food service was too notch! It was also very clean and tidy inside.“
“If you are looking for the best homemade chicken n dumplings, look no further. You can find them on the menu every Wednesday. Her daily specials are posted weekly on her Facebook page. Her cakes, pies and cookies are the best you will find in Gainesville. The owner and staff make you feel right at home. Love this place.“
“Great place to check out if you’re in Gainsville! Owner is super nice and friendly. Always puts on cool events like comedy nights and live music! Great food and great people. They brought out dog treats and a water bowl while we enjoyed dinner on the patio. Safe to say our dog Nugget loves it too! You guys rock ??“
“I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give The Dawg House a huge shout out.I've visited this establishment a fair amount of times since the beginning of 2023, and I can say every time I've visited I've gotten hot delicious food, served by the loveliest and kindest people, and have been surrounded by other customers who are having a great time. I tend to get carry out because the place can be a little loud and cramped, but that's a byproduct of running a good business with plenty of return customers. The dining room is kept clean, the veggies are always fresh, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are the definition of fair. They have a nice variety of sodas at the fountain, including Jarritos and Cheerwine, as well as great sweet tea. They have a pretty vast menu but from what I've tried over the year, you can't go wrong with any of it. If you're on the fence, the Double Bark Burger or ANYTHING with their fried shrimp are certified home runs.If you're on a lunch break I would consider calling in your order ahead, they cook everything fresh and their level of attention to detail deserves a few more minutes of patience. By no means are they slow, but they're not slinging food out of the kitchen like a fast food joint.Give this place a shot, you'll be back before you know it. Bring your appetite, and bring a friend. This local legend deserves all the support it can earn.“
“They catered my daughter's small wedding reception about 90 minutes away. The food was outstanding and the price very affordable. I am not a big eater, so my plate below may look scarce, but there was plenty of food. The pulled pork (two flavors), shrimp (with an amazing sauce), queso dip and chips, and all the sides were delicious! The fruit looked too pretty to eat and tasted just as good. It was so fresh! The cake and desserts were included.I was very impressed!“
“Beautiful Place with Great Food, Great Service, and Clean Bathrooms! We had a party of 12, and our table was put together for us quickly. Our server smiled the entire time, and was very patient with the kids and constant things we needed. The food was delicious, and you are served honey butter croissants as you wait to eat. There’s a large fish tank for kids to see if they are bored, too. Our kids even asked to tour the restaurant, because it was “so beautiful.”We will definitely be back to celebrate more birthdays!Parking: A lot of parking space!Kid-friendliness: Large fish tank that kids love, and many simple dishes for them too“
“This place is definitely my go to for an awesome burger and great service! And don't forget about the drinks!Let's start with the Southern burger, it is a must have! No small patty here, it has a real burger patty, from bygone days. The pepper jelly and fried green tomato make it the masterpiece it is. We were sad they didn't have their fried green tomatoes on the appetizer menu ? those were the bomb. Also sad that the deviled eggs were the Mexican corn ones, cuz the ones we had last time with the bourbon bacon and pepper jelly , were one of the reasons we came back.Loved loved loved the bless your heart cocktail. Serving it in the coke bottle was a unique twist. And as usual the service was on spot. Lilli was awesome. Friendly, great with suggestions for cocktails, and took care of our fried green tomato fix. Lol“
“My first time here, and it was very good. They were busy so service took a little while, but food was worth it. I got the Nashville hot sauce on my chicken, loved it. The turnip greens were delicious. No live music where we sat, but I think they have it in the back room.“
“The food has always been very good. The service always excellent. It is pretty loud sometimes though but that's just most restaurants. Definitely a good place to eat. Portions are large too if you're looking for bang for the buck.“
“I’ve been here plenty of times and I have had a pleasant time each time but the other night I came and one young lady really went above and beyond for me in the drive thru. After a long day I decided to stop here to get food for my family and this young lady was not only sweet but also very very patient with me and answered all questions I had about anything in my order. I went as far as far as trying to tip her which she declined because they are not allowed to accept them. So Mikenna girl it if u see this I kept my promise girl!! You are an asset to this location and I really hope they value your hard work and dedication xoxoxoxoxo“
“I took my staff here for a holiday Lunch. Each one of our meals was great. Our waitress was outstanding and the pricing was fair. I have come several times for Brunch on Sundays, but lunch was awesome too.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“If I could give 10 stars, I would! I don’t think I’ve EVER had better service anywhere. Super friendly and accommodating, really made us feel like friends. The Breakfast Burger is to die for! Beautiful views of the golf course, nice atmosphere, great menu. We will definitely be back. ❤️“
“Been coming here for years working my way through the menu and it's all good. The place is a bit cramped but it's usually pretty crowded so consider getting it to go.These guys have their act together and it shows in the unpretentious tasty food. The BEST lunch spot in town.“
“the food is good. I always get the baked potato with pork on top. the place is usually busy even if you go early. with any BBQ restaurant what you are looking for may not be available. it takes a while to prepare and cook the food. make sure you have a second option incase that happens. all the food is good.“
“Stopped by on a Friday morning. I live close by and didn’t know it was there for almost a year. Ordered 3 biscuits (sausage egg and cheese, bacon, and bacon and cheese) - Best biscuit I’ve ever had! My family agreed that they were awesome. Service was quick (even though the cook had to make fresh bacon), and friendly.“
“Love this restaurant!!! This where i gather with a big group of ladies to eat delicious food and just have a great time and make memories. Recently i went with my friend to celebrate our gradute achievement for lunch loved the food fresh, hot and delicious . Staff are friendly and checking if you need anything else. For all you can eat buffet is worth the price highly recommended!!!“
“Terrible, so bad that I only come with 2 of my buddies 2 or 3 times a week. The food? So many things to choose from. Recommend to all I know about you. And thanks for not being open on Sunday. You can tell God has been blessing you!Parking: Just keep lookingWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to use“
“This is my second time visiting this restaurant. Last time I had a good basic breakfast, as I don't think you can mess that up.This time I had the crabcakes. As one who used to live in the DMV, I'm glad they used chunks of crab instead of shredded crab which tends to be the norm in some restaurants in GA. My wine complimented the crabcakes and overall I was pleased with my meal.I sat by the window and the view was serene. I will be back during my next spa treatment.“
“We were in town early for a meeting and needed a place to grab a quick lunch. We found this place and are really glad we did. I had one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. My wife's Philly Cheese Stake was also very good. The staff was very friendly and the service was great, even though it was very busy at the time. Will definitely go back.“
“This is the closest one to me. Food and service are constantly good. I usually get lucky and miss the crowd. This morning, the grits and gravy were on point, the coffee wash fresh brewed and there was some Conway on the jukebox. I remember back when they didn’t have biscuit and gravy. But I don’t remember ever having a more “Waffle House” morning. 10/10 IYKYKParking: It’s an easy back on 985 north and south. Like I said before, I don’t u turn at the light. I come up from behind the gas station and Burger King.Kid-friendliness: I see kids every time I’m in there and I always have mine. When I was young getting to sit at the high bar and watch the cooks was something special.Wheelchair accessibility: If I was wheelchairing it, I would turn at the light and again right before the neighborhood. Come from behind the gas station and Burger King. Pull a little past and back in to your spot. Tap on the glass as you take the curb cut and the hostess will come help with the doors. The two low bar sections (2 top & 4 top) are where I would aim to sit. Don’t be afraid to ask, everyone is super sweet but they can’t read minds.“
“Love the sauces, something for everyone at the table. Tots were delish and fresh. Our server was a good example of the Southern hospitality we have always heard of, and fortunately got to experience on our trip through Georgia. Thanks Alec for the good servers and recommendations for things to see as we travel further south.“
“When we come to Gainesville, we always visit this store. The food is always outstanding, the store is immaculate and the service is friendly and efficient. Jason always has a positive attitude and a dimpled smile that lights up the room. He is an outstanding asset to this business.“
“The food, altho a bit expensive was well worth it, the service was good, albeit it took longer than expected for the food to come out, the employee apologized for the extended wait and the walleye was excellent! I highly recommend Culver's and the limited time walleye to anyone who is a fan of fried fish.“
“Great Food, Great Prices, Great Environment ! If you’re at the bar ask for Simone, she does a great job and knows her drinks, if you’re a regular like myself, she’ll have it ready for you by the time you sit down along with your food ! It’s the place to be Friday nights as they have live bands each week, Don’t miss out !“
“Everything was wonderful! It started with the best waitress named Jessica. She was the best ever. She was great from the beginning of the meal until I left. The meal was delicious. The best salmon I have ever eaten an it was a very large portion.Luna’s was by far a 5Star+++ Restaurant.“
“When it comes to the best hamburger in Buford, GA. I recommend the Mushroom-Provolone Hottie Beef burger at this Friends American Grill. In addition, the service was excellent. Ella W. (our server) was rich in personality and made our dining experience wonderful.Bruce the owner was pretty awesome too. He visited our table to make sure our service was great. With this said, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will be happy you dined in at this location.“
“Sweet potato fries are actually very crispy and not soaked in oil (most places, sweet potato fries are soggy and taste nothing like sweet potato). My double cheeseburger was pretty good; for the price that everything else has gone up by, I'd gladly go here instead of a Five Guys or similar establishment or fast food nowadays.“
“Amazing burgers fresh ingredients and a great selection of side dishes. The best places to explore are the friendly mom and pop restaurants in town. Friendly and prompt service. Homemade root beer is a wonderful treat. A must stop when driving down Browns bridge. Near lake Lanier!“
“The great food at this location matched any other J Christopher's that my friend and I had gone to before. We came here because this location was closer to my friend's home. But this location was smaller than the previous one we went to in Brazelton. And because of that, the sound level was noisy, and the music volume was too high. I asked for the music to be lowered, and it barely was changed by the management. That was the only thing that was disappointing. When you're there for a good discussion with friends, in our case some Bible talk, the sound level was much too distracting. We made the best of our breakfast meeting because our server was attentive and wonderful, and the food was delicious ... as usual, as all J Christopher's are, we've found.“
“Stopped in today after a quick search for places to eat near me. One of the best choices ever from that kind of search! We had a wonderful lunch and have been talking about ut all the way home. My husband had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the halibut fish and chips with Cole slaw. We will be back next time we are in the area!“
“I love seeing live music here. I've seen many bands over the last 20 years in Buford. The last 3 bands I have seen there were amazing for the first half of the show. But during the second half the sound from the speakers became super distorted. I don't know if this is an issue with sound system or the sound man. I will say that it is super disappointing. At the Depeche Mode cover band, the guy behind me mentioned the distorted sound first, so I am not the only one who noticed. I am reluctant to return. I hope someone loooks into the issue.“
“Best Capatain D"S we've been to ! We're from southern Indiana and enjoyed our lunch, food was hot and fried perfect, Front end help was friendly and the place was spotless! !even the restrooms ,Nicely decorated! Great experience ?“
