“Server was excellent. Seated fast. Food was ok though. Seemed like we got the bottom of a bag of fries where u get a bunch tiny pieces with some very small curly fries. The burger was perfectly cooked but lacked any flavor. The hot & garlic parm chicken wings plus dressings were on point. Of everything we had, Id come back for the wings and skip the other stuff.“

“Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was pretty chill for a late morning. Ordered plate of biscuits and gravy with red hot sausage and an orange juice. The gravy was smooth and warm with the red hot giving a good amount of spice. Very curious to see what else was offered, I returned a few days later to get a burger to go as is advertised on their sign up front. The burger was surprisingly juicy and delicious. What even more surprising was learning that Mama Ruth’s has been around since 1975! With a diverse menu and friendly customer service, I can see why it has continued to thrive.“

“Went here for brunch with a group of friends from church. The atmosphere inside was vibrant coming off like an old diner with Las Vegas memorabilia on the walls. The menu was expansive with many options to choose from. I ordered their special Elvis cakes which were 3 pancakes covered in banana slices, peanut butter chips, and powdered sugar. The cakes were quite filling with no additional condiments needed. I also ordered a small bowl of their fried potatoes which were surprisingly good! Service was excellent despite the large crowd of people. Overall a great place to go for breakfast/brunch.“

The dumplings are fantastic, and the marinated cucumbers are a must-try. I live in Cleveland and make the drive to Dawsonville just to eat here. “This is a shout out to the best group of servers on planet earth. Today my family was at Fish Tales enjoying lunch when my grandmother suddenly had a medical crisis that at first appeared to be a stroke or cardiac event (ps - she is now fine). The entire restaurant of servers sprung into action - called 911 for us, made her a cold compress, got her some ice, guided the EMTs to us when they arrived, and basically took care of us in every possible way while we dealt with the crisis (with the help of 2 nurses who happened to be dining there too). They were all incredibly on the ball but also not obtrusive, just absolutely wonderful. I can’t imagine any of them were trained for medical emergencies or were expecting to deal with something like this on their shift, but they could not have been more professional, attentive, and caring. We are all so grateful. A truly incredible, impressive team!“

“I love Culvers burgers and their fries, eat there for lunch once a week. it was cold out today and I thought a bowl of chili would be good. Ordered the chili supreme, paid for extra onions, cheese and sour creme, no sour creme on the tray, they told me they were out of it. you could have let me know before hand, I would have skipped that part of the order. $10.54 for a little bowl of chili, hardly any meat in it, fries and a drink, what a disappointing meal.“

“I've eaten here many times for breakfast and once or twice for lunch. I've always enjoyed it. The food and folk are great. The people are always friendly. Biscuits are soft and warm. Eggs are nice and fluffy. And they are one of the few places in Hall County that does large smoked and breakfast sausages that are scrumptious. Only negative is their coffee. Not sure what they do, but it never tastes right, even when being a blend I use at home and like.“

“We went there on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful, very generous breakfast. No frills but good food and great prices. If you are looking for fancy pictures and dishes, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for good food at a great price and very generous portions, you have found your spot. Definitely try it!“

“The interior has exposed brick and such a great, cozy vibe. It was packed when we got there, so we ended up sitting at the bar but honestly, it worked out perfectly. The bar seating was comfortable and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun.

Service was great from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything even with how busy it was.

The food was just as good as the atmosphere. The steak was cooked beautifully and paired perfectly with green beans and sweet potato fries. The fried pickles were crispy with just the right crunch and dipping sauce. And the seared tuna dish was fresh, flavorful, and plated so nicely.

Definitely a spot with good energy, great food, and service that keeps everything running smoothly, we’ll be back.“

“I had not eaten at Wayback since they had issues with a failed inspection a while back, but always enjoyed their good Carolina burger. Went back yesterday for the first time, and found that the burger is smaller, with prefab formed patties. While the chips were very good….I was disappointed with the burger based on previous experience. Sad because previously the Carolina was a great burger. Not sure if I will go back after this change.“
