“Went for lunch today and the food was amazing. Love their spicy tonkatsu ramen. A really creamy and delicious broth. Did ask for extra spice which delivered that kick of heat I was looking for. Really liked how their ramen egg was still runny as well.

So many options when it comes to sushi. Not a big fan of raw fish, and the waitress really helped making that decision. I chose the fat dragon roll and who would’ve thought cream cheese would go so well with the eel sauce.

Would highly recommend coming here, especially during lunch. Heard it could get busy during dinner time. Bless for such an amazing sushi place close to home!!“

“Walk in the door and got greeted immediately. The whole restaurant is very beautiful and simple. The lights are so cute I want to take them home. The floors are clean, not sticky, and of course very gorgeous. The small shopfront that they have over the counter is simple but very darling. The lady that helped us was very nice and asked if it was our first visit and let us know about their order system. We ordered and got our food in record time. Out of all the ramen places I've been I have never had the bowl in front of me faster than here. The food was absolutely delicious and we did get some sushi too. The tea comes in a very nice teapot when you get it. If this place was closer to home I would be here every chance I could.“

“This is my NUMBER 1 FAVORITE SPOT! I could not recommend any more than I already have. The food is extremely flavorful and they always have amazing deals. My favorite would be the fish or cheese katsu or the tonkatsu ramen. They also have a deal where you can add 3 hand rolls PACKED with fish for just $10 with an entree! I love the atmosphere and the service is great! The staff is so friendly and recommending new dishes to try or showing off the best deals. They also have new desserts now and new menus like the sushi-dons and soba.“

“My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday and we have nothing but good things to say! It’s run by a wife and husband and their daily hours are limited which allows for the food to be 10/10 also really recommended placing a reservation prior to going or else you might be turned away as they have only a limited amount of tables to also help the experience and be tended to in the best way. The sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delightful not in anyways fishy! We also had the beef skewer and that was also phenomenal! They knew we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and brought out extra treats for us and made this experience 100 times better, if that’s even possible! We can’t wait to be back, we are already planning our next trip back!“

“This is an excellent sushi restaurant to go to when we are missing Japan and want to relive the fun while at home. Their are display cases full of Japanese figurines and collectables scattered through the restaurant.
The sushi is yummy, the spaces are clean and the service is friendly and comes with a smile.
Depending upon how much you spend you may get a couple of tokens for the claw machines. Learn from my silly mistake and go for the machine that has the least amount of prizes in it; some machines pay out better than others. And don't be sad if you made a perfect drop ( or more) and didn't get a prize, that's how these machines are built. The more tokens you sink into one machine the better your odds at winning a prize.

We will return! Mostly for the delicious sushi and good service but also for the fun crane machines. :)“

“A small self-service restaurant with great, authentic gukbap! Busan is famous for its gukbap, and this restaurant attempts to emulate that taste. I found the mixed pork soup quite delicious and comforting. It had a deep, rich broth that was so creamy. There was a good amount of sliced meat, too. The kimchi and radish tasted fresh and went wonderfully with the milky broth and rice. A simple meal that never disappoints!“

“They do takeout here and it’s always smooth. I called in my order and the young guy who answered was really helpful and easy to talk to and he made sure everything was right. When I got there he was up front and had everything ready so it was quick to grab and go. I got and recommend the hamilton mill roll and the princess roll and both were really good and fresh. I’ve come here plenty of times for take out and also dinner with my family and the service is always the best, there is always someone that will help happily. DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant“

“I love coming to Wasabi & Sushi inside the Assi Plaza food court! The portion sizes here are really good, and everything is very reasonably priced. The service is always good, and the dining area is spacious and comfortable, so you never feel cramped while eating. It’s a great, reliable spot and easily one of my favorite places to go for a satisfying meal.“

The space was very clean, service was friendly. Super easy to order. Menu size is perfect, not overloaded with too many items.

I ordered the kimchi nabe udon. Perfectly seasoned, served HOT.
Hubby ordered the tonkatsu nabe udon. The donkatsu served in the soup was still perfectly crispy even being in the broth overtime. The udon noodles were cooked perfectly, & they were thick!
Chicken karaage was also tasty, the batter was okay.

Overall would definitely come back to try other menu items.

“Sushi Chef Phillip, truly made me feel at home. It's rare these days that the Sushi chef. Will make time to converse with you. He asked about my favorite Sashimi cuts. Then arranged them in a beautiful way. Which not only appealed to my hunger. But also to my appreciation of his craft.“

I called the store and they said they would fix it, but didn’t. So I had to order our entire meal as side items. There were no options listed for sauces. So I called the store to ask for 1 additional sauce (menu cost $1.50). The store manager, Leah, refused, even as I explained that I wasn’t able to order sauces on DoorDash. I will not be ordering from your establishment going forward. That’s terrible customer experience. I’d suggest hiring customer-focused managers.“

“Enjoying my first ever order from this restaurant. The food is excellent. The service was fast. Strolled in to make a to go order, no real expectations, just hungry. I was pleasantly surprised at not just how good the food tasted but the presentation was just as good. Next time I am craving sushi and sashimi, Oriental J restaurant will be my first choice.“
