“EVERY time I visit this gem, I leave delighted. The atmosphere upon entry is amazing and the attachment and energy into the food is apparent. The portions are always amazing and the prices are no where short of the same (amazing)! “Very quaint and lively restaurant. The picture below is this stewed chicken entrée with black rice and peas, and the appetizer that was not shown, but was absolutely divine was a salted cod patty. I came here for lunch and was not disappointed at all, you must try the mango beverage and get it with milk. It’s absolutely going to be your favorite thing to drink!!
The lunch prices were reasonable that I saw on the menu. However, lunch is only available Tuesday through Friday. Total for the meal for two including appetizers and multiple drinks was under 80 bucks, including tip:)!!“

“This place exudes fine dining quality in a casual dining environment. The atmosphere is spotless clean, with great decor. Great music. Friendly staff who serve with a warm attitude and pleasant smile. And OMG the food was super delicious, authentically Jamaican. I loved the saltfish fritters (they were huge), the soursop juice was soooooo good. Definitely going back.“

“I enjoyed my meal overall but wanted to leave a review here since for whatever reason ubereats would allow me to rate my order.I wanted to give this order 5 stars because overall I really did enjoy my meal but there just a few things preventing me from doing so.I ordered the spaghetti it’s a TASTY and HUGE portion of food. But my garlic bread was very BURNT. So burnt I’m surprised they thought it was fit to serve.The salmon with rice and salad was good! You get a ton of Haitian rice. I never had it before but really enjoyed it. Although the rice had a slightly burnt taste to it. Like the rice itself wasn’t burnt but maybe the bottom of the pot was. But it was still edible and well seasoned but the burnt after taste does linger. Also, they forgot to include my plantains.Lastly, I ordered what was labeled “Haitian Kola” on Uber eats thinking it was some sort of fancy Hatian cultural soda and was really excited to try a new drink but it turned out to be regular old fashioned coke. I was a bit disappointed and had I known it was regular Coke I would not have ordered it.Overall the items that bothered me weren’t enough to write this place off completely. Everyone has off days so I will try it again. But next time I’ll try it in person instead of ubereats.Like I said great taste and HUGE portions. Will give them another try.“

“We love our new neighbor on Moreland Ave and can't get enough of their Caribbean/Latin fusion. All veg of course! We've had just about everything on the menu and it all is really special. We're actually a little jealous. We need to steal some of these recipes! Well done Purely Plant!“

The cabbage/salad was the best I've had..I usually pass when I order Jamaican food because it's never cooked right or seasoned good but this was very good. “I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“Very good food! We got oxtails and jerk chicken and both were fantastic! Oxtail was small, but it was was actually good for the price! The oxtail gravy was so flavorful. The jerk chicken had a small kick to it but wasn’t overbearing. Owner/employees were very friendly.“

“We order a traditional Sunday meal which consisted of white rice brown bean sauce and legume with beef and same sides but with fried turkey. Food well seasoned and the piklies was very good. This was my second time here and the food again was amazing and did not disappoint the food is made fresh to order but the wait was not long. The service was great for a one server personnel she was able to cater to everyone entering and seating in the restaurant so kudos to her. They do have to fix the setting, to make able for more seating. But the food is awesome if you look past that. This place is a Must go 4/5 because of the seating set up!“

“I’ve now been 3x and the food and atmosphere was a hit. The most recent time we went for live music and loved it. It’s an amazing date spot or just to go with a friend. I’ve had something different to eat each time and enjoyed it.

“I visited Dominique’s on Friday 7/12/24. Was very impressed. I am a senior, and a vet..My order was served timely, hot and delicious. The waiter was dressed very professional. After such a wonderful evening of dining I referred Dominique to others. One sent me a copy of negative reviews. I am shocked because my guest and I had a wonderful time. The surrounding guests. appeared to be enjoying themselves also. No negative energy anywhere. There was even a valet in the parking lot. I am so sorry for the misfortune of others.
