“After a long, fun-filled day at the beach celebrating my son’s 7th birthday, we were all feeling pretty tired and hungry — and this restaurant turned out to be the perfect place to end our day. The food was absolutely fantastic — every bite was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our waitress, Mandy. Mandy was simply amazing. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and personal, taking the time to make us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. She went above and beyond to help make our son’s birthday feel special, and her kindness and energy brought a smile to all of our faces — even after a long, sandy day at the beach. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the service are equally top-notch, but this restaurant nailed it. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. Huge thanks to Mandy and the whole team for making a special day even more memorable!”

“Wow; that is all I had to say leaving the Sundae Cafe. Seriously, some of the most exceptional food I have had in YEARS. We started with complementary homemade biscuits and peach jam, which were warm, delicious and the jam I would’ve taken home in a jar if I could’ve. The crab stuffed flounder was to die for, like completely blew my mind, the hot honey jerk shrimp was potentially my favorite shrimp I’ve had and the scallops were cooked beautifully, and tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had a chocolate cake with fudge icing, which was phenomenal. Our server, Crystal, was a total doll, and the atmosphere was wonderful, especially given that this is located next to a damn liquor store and corner store! We will absolutely be back, and would give this 6 stars if we could. Don’t miss this gem while on Tybee! A place truly worth the price of admission (something I rarely find myself saying here).”

“We had a nice dinner here. The food was well-prepared and plentiful. Our server gave the right amount of attention to our table. Everyone was happy with their food - my son got the smash burger, his friend and I both had the shrimp and grits, and my husband had the scallops. It was nicely done and the flavors are just right.”

“I just realized that I never left a review, likely because great places often slip my mind when it comes to sharing feedback, it's usually the bad experiences that prompt a review unfortunately. However, I can't express enough how much I love this local gem. They have a fantastic menu, a friendly and personable staff, and the prices are excellent. The only downside is that you need to know when to go, as the locals often fill the place up, finding a seat can be challenging!”

“Service is super fast and friendly! We had 1 of each flavors of muffins, and vanilla frappuccinos! They were the best we ever had, and the price was surprisingly low. I just wished we lived closer!”

“Some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. I had the La Texicana, my husband had fish tacos, my son had Chile Verde, and his friend had tacos al pastor. It was A LOT of food. Fast. Delicious.”

“We got shaved ice here! So refreshing. A few outdoor seats. Just a window for ordering. One of our shaved ices was a bit heavy on the syrup. The window server was super friendly! We had gone into the ice cream shop across the street and it was so hot and unappealing that we changed our minds and went here. Did not regret our decision. Will be back to try the food!”

“Great ice cream! They serve real Dole Whip which was a treat. The Blue Panda ice cream is the best - I wanted to try something that the regular ice cream brands at the grocery store don’t have and it was great! Friendly staff, and we were served quickly.”

“The only food they have here is popcorn! Which is popped regularly by the bartender and on this day Kimberly was our bartender who done a phenomenal job taking care of us!!

This is our first time in Tybee Island, and we stopped in here to watch a football game and have a drink and have been thoroughly impressed by the great service!

We eat out and drink about five nights a week and there are very few people who take care of you to the level that Kimberly does.”

“Everything was great!! We stopped in during a massive downpour. The chips and queso was excellent. Everyone loved their tacos, I got a bowl with carne asada which was excellent, will definitely be back again!! Service was quick despite there only being one person serving. The man at the register made a bit of an unappreciated remark. He said the guy dipping ive cream was giving generous portions (which was comical).. and tried to act like we got double scoops. (we did not) won't be back.”
