“Fantastic food. We had the pistachio encrusted tuna with broccoli and sweet potatoes and we also had side salads. One person at our table substituted this sweet potato for the brussel sprouts with peanuts. Those were good but maybe a little bit too many peanuts. Michelle was our server and she did an excellent job she was thoughtful and caring and helpful. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we look forward to coming back!”

“we went to Bubba Gumbos for lunch and both had the Shrimp Po' Boy Sandwich...it was delicious!!!!! best one I've ever had! Parking lot was packed so parking was difficult but so worth it!”

“Visited Back River Brewery last night for the first time. Place was packed so we ordered some food and a couple of beers and had to sit outside. Table became available after about 20 minutes so we headed in and listened to the music while we waited on our food. Two guys working, and I must say I’ve never witnessed two individuals work as hard as they did. Whoever owns this place needs to give them a raise. Food took a while but was well worth it and expected with the number of people they served. Not your typical bar food, was really good and something I’d expect more from a nicer restaurant than a brewery. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Will definitely visit again, highly recommend.”

“Dropped in for brunch today and just blown away by the chef, who happens to be the owner too. If the coquilles St Jacques are available, do not hesitate. Best I’ve had outside France. See photo. Eggs Royale also amazing. We shared the scallops but could have split the Eggs Royale, which would leave tummy room for trying something else. Definitely coming back and kudos Chef!”

“My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast here. Very quick service, friendly staff and great breakfast food! Belgian waffle, eggs, hamburger steak, bacon and hash browns were all wonderful! Good coffee!”

“We stayed in Tybee Island for 5 days and we came here 3 times because it was that good. They had a turkey & baby swiss sub that was out of this world, seriously one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I also got the shaved ice with different flavors which was tasty and refreshing with the heat. My wife had their soft serve with a brownie and loved it. Highly recommend coming here!”

“We stopped, and has a beverage and a bottle water. These people are the nicest, funniest Everrrr. So the beverage I chose was pineapple. Now I live in Wisco, on our way to Florida Keys. I look up “this” place Riptide Bar and Grill. I email asking how to make their signature drink….and I received an answer in about a hour. The best part of his recipe is this…… Fresh ocean air & views (recommended but not required :) Prices Great. We will go out of our way to visit again recommend 10/10”

“How could u hate Ben and Jerry’s. This is a really cool unique store, it’s literally a hole in the wall lol. Be warned though that they are only open in the spring summer and early fall.”

“My husband and I came in here yesterday to get out of the rain… we had the gator bites, fried pickles and oysters. Everything we had was VERY delicious 😋!!! We came back again tonight and got more oysters! I LOVE the bartender / waitress. SUPER ⭐! She is extremely FRIENDLY and VERY accommodating! If you are in Tybee Island please be sure to come by and get the oysters! Definitely the BEST in town!!! Thank you to the chef that prepared the food…. EXCELLENT!!!”

“The Miyagi Beef tacos were absolutely amazing. I also stole my dinning partners cole slaw and it was the best I've had ever. great place, great service, and great tasting food. The outdoor dining also has a play area for the littles so they can run off some more energy.”

The man at the register made a bit of an unappreciated remark. He said the guy dipping ive cream was giving generous portions (which was comical).. and tried to act like we got double scoops. (we did not) won't be back.”

Sting Rays Seafood Spot was definitely a win! I loved that the fish was lightly battered just like they advertised — crispy without being overly heavy or greasy, which is exactly how I like my fried fish. Everything we ordered was super yummy, fresh-tasting, and satisfying.

The only thing that didn’t really stand out for me was the coleslaw. It wasn’t bad, but it could definitely use a little more flavor and seasoning. Compared to the rest of the meal, it was probably the weakest item.

Overall, though, I’d absolutely come back. If you’re on Tybee Island and craving some good, casual seafood, Sting Rays is worth checking out! 🦐🐟🍟”
