“Wonderful experience today! Good food, clean dining area with nice decor, and friendly staff.
We tried two kinds of chicken salad today (Buffalo Barclay and Lauryn's lemon basil) and they were both wonderfully flavored and fresh! We also tried the loaded baked potato soup and brocoli salad. All food was brought to our table quickly and were very tasty! We were very appreciative of how they decorated for Veterans Day and honored veterans with a free meal. We will definitely be returning!
Kid-friendliness: They do offer a kid's menu with items other than chicken salad. Some of the items were: turkey sandwich, Mac and cheese, and uncrustables.“

“Did the Brunch buffet today. Everything I sampled was good to excellent. Definitely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and smiling. JD even played a pinball game with my 2 grandsons. My only complaint, if you want to call it that,was being charged for ice tea. Trust me, that won't stop us from going again. EXCELLENT!!“

“Last week stopped by Big Shanty Smokehouse in Kennesaw, Georgia. I’ve been going here for years and always has been one of my favorite places in Georgia. Paul Holden of Willingham's World Champion BBQ recently took over as the new owner in August and excited to see what he continues to bring. He’s top notch pitmaster in the competition world but also has been in the restaurant business as well. I got the brisket which was amazing and also some of their signature Turkey ribs (Friday Special) and of course some Brunswick stew and Mac & Cheese. Everything was very good and will be back soon. Currently they are open Wed-Thursday 11am-2pm & Friday-Saturday 11am-7pm. (So stop by and see them.) “I live close to this Shane's and have gone there quite frequently since they opened. I've never had a bad meal. I prefer the ribs, chopped pork or tenders. Ask for your fries to be well done and they are fresh, hot and crispy. Peach cobbler is excellent also.“
