Have only tried 2 things from here- their standard egg tart and their pineapple custard bun. The egg tart was just OK- the custard was well set, not too sweet, and a little bland; the pastry could have been much more buttery/flaky. The pineapple custard bun was fresh baked out of the oven and was perfect. Crunchy buttery topping, soft pillowy bread, stuffed with lots of not-too-sweet custard. Will return for the pineapple custard bun and to try more items!
Hands down the best ham and cheese bun In Honolulu. I got two, started to eat them walking out the bakery and turned around and bought 4 more lady working there told me i told you super delicious she was very sweet and with big smile… Super delicious..

Happen to be in Chinatown and finding this bakery was a must. We always enjoy the ham & cheese buns from here... someone always brings a box to pot lucks. Bakery is located in between the vegetable shops along Hotel Street (although official address is Maunakea St.). Handful of items to choose from... and reasonably priced ($2-something each). Will return.
