“It was truly the best dinner and drink -!!
They asked me if I had a food allergy, and I made a reservation because I was afraid there would be no room, but they asked if it was my honeymoon and I said yes. We each ordered food and the wait was a bit long, but it wasn't boring because there was an aquarium and a good atmosphere. After some time had passed, we were given tiramisu and sulted caramel gelato to celebrate our honeymoon. It was great that the staff paid attention and didn't feel too burdensome.“

The ambience was nice moderate noise, TV with sports on and a bar! Need I say more?!
Was a fun environment! It's a hole in a wall but lovely and a charming place! Met the owners behind the bar, they were very friendly and service was prompt ! They were so nice that they discounted us because we are new locals of Hawaii!

Food was nothing short of amazing and prices were decent and affordable!

Garlic bread - was a 10/10 crispy, soft, super tasty, garlic was definitely

Garlic cream shrimp scampi with mushrooms! 10/10 Definitely yummy ! I crave it! Perfectly cooked noodles, noodles to sauce ratio was on point! Sauce was so delicious you can taste the garlic perfectly cut with the cream!!! Nice big portion for 2 people !

Prosciutto pizza - 10/10 thin crust, lots of prosciutto! super ono !!!

Oysters - 10/10
were amazing and super fresh!

Tiramisu - 10/10 one of the best tiramisu on the island!

Alcohol drinks were strong and affordable 10/10

“I thought I had made a comment but I don't see it here first I'd like to say the food was fabulous there was no problems with that. I had stopped a busboy and asked him for some more butter for our bread he took a few steps forward first then step back and said well I need a plate you have to take that butter off that plate because we don't have any more plates. I did take the butter off the plate and had it to him he brought it back and he just dropped it on the table it was incredibly rude nobody really said anything until a little bit later in the meal and then it was brought up about how rude he was. This was the night before mother's Day so it was my mother's day because I had to work on mother's Day everything was great except for that experience with that busboy I'm very sad to say that really left a bad taste in our mouth.“

“Roman was absolutely fantastic! Great recommendations, always steered us right! Drinks and food all exceeded expectations and it was a very successful celebration of son's 21st birthday. Still did not try everything that he recommended Ron caught our eye on the menu. Will be back and hope to interact with Roman again.“

“I pick up lunch from the Pioneer Plaza location a couple of times a month. It's always the large salad ... Which gives you 3 to 4 choices atop some cut lettuce. I usually select the peas and carrots, curried chicken (even though I don't like raisins), tomato and cucumber and the pasta salad.

There are pasta and sandwiches ... my workmates often order that instead of salad. FYI, the large is a better deal ... You get far more food for just a few more dollars.“

I don't want to give a raving review because I don't want this place to become over popular based on good reviews...but it's simply one of the best places I've eaten. “IL TAPPO Hawaii was total surprise! Everything we ordered from the caprese salad, bruschetta, with tomato basil and garlic, pesto ala penne with chicken, the lasagna, the pizza with capacola, the wine recommended was amazing. We finished with the perfect size of tiramisu and a shot of amazingly chilled limoncello. This was a perfect meal start to finish. This place is a must go to if you visit here. Literally on the best meals we have ever had!!!“

“Simple and very delicious Italian food. The pizza and pasta with a choice of combinations are both delicious. I think this is the taste that Japanese people like. The portions are about Japanese size, so if you want to eat a lot, you might have to order sometime.“

“This was definitely a different Pizza experience... their story is intriguing and hopefully this brand and cuisine comes to the remainder of the states especially Florida... I had their lime drink and it was amazing and their Pizza was delightful. 43 inc highly recommended. “Assaggio is our favorite resturaunt in Waikiki.We have been coming from California for over 10 years and this is by far the best compared to all , even the high end like Halekulani and the Royal Hawaiian. It is the total package. Call for reservation and David pleasantly takes our request .He also serves as the host when we arrive and seats us where we request. We always request Danny as our server because he is spot on as the best. Greets us with a smile and pleasantry and gives us first class service from beginning to end. The food is spectacular and compares to our favorite Italian resturaunt in NYC which is family owned for 35 years. You must give it a try! Frank Correia“

“I cannot say enough great things about Ruscello. All the food is excellent, the ambience is great, but what is the best is the service. The staff is beyond incredible, everyone is so friendly and nice. When we come we literally feel like family. We are always greeted with a smile. Everyone loves this place so would highly recommend making a reservation unless you are planning to walk in right when they open. Wish I would rate them a 20/10 because this restaurant is the best, which is why we always go so frequently! Thank you Ruscello Ala Moana! See you again soon!“

“Walking past, there's a good chance you won't even notice it. There's a row of 3-4 shops in one building. Upon entering, you realize just how small it really is. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient, this was the first time for me to visit this place. I honestly couldn't decide, there were so much to choose from. I ended up ordering the Hawaiian calzone and the combination calzone. I was not disappointed at all. They were delicious. I quickly realized however that I should have ordered just 1. They were both quite full. I'll be sure to go back there on my next trip to Hawaii.“

“Lunch with the ladies and had a great time! Egg plant parmigiana, create your own pasta, tour of Italy, shrimp scampi dishes we're all enjoyed. Couple of us had the Tuscano soup which wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be but still tasty. We tried the strawberry cream cake, strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu.. all yummy! Service was great and I had requested a table off to side because we can get a little loud and they fulfilled that for us. Thank you, we had a wonderful time! Good food, fun and awesome friends!“

“Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. We ordered a slice of pizza with a side Cesar salad. The Cesar dressing is home made and was authentic cesar dressing. The pizza is delicious thin crust. Highly recommend this place if you want freshly made food at a great price!“

We can almost always find what we are looking for including gifts from local artists and made quite a few friends with some of the vendors. There is something for everyone. Also I recently became a vendor myself.“

“There's a lovely little Italian restaurant on King Street that you should definitely check out. The food is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and everything is made fresh when you order it. This cozy spot has a great variety of dishes, including classic pizzas, tasty appetizers, hearty salads, and sub sandwiches. My favorite dish to order is the antipasto salad along with a small la pizza Rina specialty combo.“

“So I was actually on my way to go to a different place to eat down the street and the café looks so inviting that my wife and I decided to stop in. We ate here. I had the churro waffles and she had the steak omelette service was great. The only thing I did not love was that you have to stand at the host desk and put order in and then get seated versus sitting down to put your order in other than that, the views are great. The sliding doors that surround the restaurant were open to get the full view of the scenery.“

“It is a 5 star all the way around. It has the best food and drinks on the island. Hands down there is nothing better. The atmosphere is incredible and something to experience. The staff are true professionals. They’re able to handle a full house like it is just an average day. I recommend the Kenzo steak, pasta carbonara, the fried ice cream, and the St. Jamison’s. That will set you up for a meal you’ll bring coming back for time and time again.“

“Hard to beat the value here in Oahu. $11 for a quarter of a large pizza. It’s basically the side of 2 Costco slices. So if you only want one Costco size slice, you can share with your significant other. Bbq chicken was very good. Give it a shot and fill up your belly for a bargain“
