Kayak Cafe Reviews
I went 2 different times, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food both times was good though the breakfast was definitely better. The country fried steak breakfast was pretty good. The service was relatively slow but I could tell that they were understaffed.
Weeks later I'm thinking about the Egg Sammy, excellent breakfast sandwich!
Was a bit skeptical by the reviews but my wife and I had a great experience. We were there for breakfast and it was delicious and service was great.

Kayak Cafe offers a diverse menu with options like the "Waikikipolitan Martini," "Calamari," "Pizza," "Spaghetti," and the "El Diablo" chicken sandwich. The pizza crust and sauce have received praise, while the calamari was slightly under-seasoned. The food is cooked perfectly and arrives hot to the table, with salads that are fresh and crisp. Portions are generous, making it a satisfying choice for both breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean, providing outdoor and indoor seating. Customers have enjoyed the great coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and other specialty drinks, with particular praise for the excellent cappuccino and fresh-brewed iced tea. For those with gluten sensitivities, Kayak Cafe offers delicious gluten-free pizza and other choices. The service is generally friendly, with recent improvements noted due to new staff training, though there are times when it may be hard to get someone over. Kayak Cafe provides a good dining experience at reasonable prices, and the location is ideal. Overall, it is a recommended spot for both meals and drinks, with many expressing a desire to return.
