“Impressed by Pan's Kitchen yesterday! I ordered the fresh grilled ahi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a parking spot)!“

“Gyoza, pronounced like "dumpling", is actually "pot sticker". The fillings are cabbage, leeks and minced pork. It's crispy, not greasy, and has just the right salty taste. It's delicious without adding soy sauce.
Various restaurants are surrounded by a small indoor food court (Lanai), with a spacious space and a leisurely atmosphere.“

“Legit, best crab cakes we've had in years... wife loved her grits plate, couldn't get over the yummy flavors and I had calentado (sp?) which was so good.
We had one day in honolulu and found our way here... and if you're anywhere nearby, this place should be your choice too!

“Cute little L&L BBQ. I was hungry and wanted local style cheese burger with onion and a Teri beef sandwich with lettuce. With fries anf and a drink. McD’s is right across the parking lot. It’s an easy FF stop but L&L had specifics that McD’s can’t meet. I was Ono for Teri Steak sandwich which true locals know as Teribeef burgah and I desired Krinklecut fries and both came out piping HOT! I actually felt a little spoiled getting all my opu (tummy) desired plus I got one cheeseburger with onions. Dinner was everything. Next time I might try the shrimp sandwich?“

The atmosphere and cleanliness are very good.
If you order the most basic combo set, it will be enough for an adult man to eat alone.
Adult women eat a lot of drumsticks, but four pieces of chicken fillet is a lot.
The coleslaw provided when ordering a combo tastes like melon.
Canes sauce tastes like an old chicken restaurant salad mixed with mayonnaise and ketchup.
The bread baked like French toast is fluffy and moist, but crispy on the outside. It has a lot of buttery flavor and is not sweet but salty.
French fries are nothing special.“

“Flying in from San Francisco, one of my 1st stops us always Zippy’s Casual friendly atmosphere. Delicious food. Love Portuguese soup and clam chowder. The corn bread fried and buttery. For a delicious taste of Honolulu, run to Zippy’s. I do!“

“This L&L restaurant by Costco Iwilei is the best of the many L&L's I've visited. The food is always well prepared, tasty, and nicely portioned. The restaurant is well kept, clean, and inviting. I've eaten here so often earning me numerous cash equivalent rewards with their loyalty program. The staff are always friendly and courteous reflecting how much they value their customer....

Weird that there was bits of chopped potatoes in my adobo fried rice omelet. i've definitely had better elsewhere but for a food court concession it was ok! Not bad! The country fries was a little over cooked but it was well seasoned! Good portions! i ate 3/4 od my plate and i was stuffed! 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼“

“Long time since I visited this place… I missed their Mix Plate with salads! It was a bit after lunch time, so I didn’t wait for long to be served. My mixed plate was chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. My friend got beef cutlet and roast pork Mixed Plate. Both is us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch plate! Asian salad was just right flavor with sesame oil and fried wanton. A little extra was chow fun under the meat. And the price was really reasonable here!! ($15 each). Parking lot is just next to the restaurant, very convenient. It was really satisfied day for me.“

“Shout out to Giovanni Pastrami in Waikiki. First of all, they screwed up! Somehow our ticket was missed in the kitchen, and after we had waited nearly an hour for our food, our waitress came and told us what happened and that they were preparing our meal now. She was very apologetic and very professional. Then the head chef came out from the kitchen and personally apologized and told us we were getting a 25% discount for our extra long wait. The food was very good and we were quite full. But then, one more olive branch appeared in the form of a complimentary brownie/ice cream dessert!
