“I came with my family to celebrate a few birthdays. I have a slight impairment. In my excitement and content from their friendly service I accidentally placed my drink and it fell making a mess. It scared me, I felt bad, I panicked. The two behind the counter were quick to help and remedies the situation. Without panicking they helped clean it up with a smile while my hands were still shaking. By the time I had calmed down they kindly remade and brought me a replacement shake. I could cry because of their kindness. If management is reading this. Whoever is on the clock at 8:45pm 10/14 they are amazing compassionate individuals.

Parking: Parking near the Makai (Ocean) side of Target is abundant.

Kid-friendliness: DQ stall is in the Makai Food Court, so there's a lot of seats and space for the family. Restrooms ? are nearby with baby changing tables too. Kids play spaces are in the other two mall wings.“

“This place seems to be not well known to Koreans yet. I think Hawaii Shave Ice is one of the best restaurants in the dessert world. The ice that the female owner serves is so big and round, and what is the golden ratio between syrup and condensed milk? (The male version is delicious, but it is not enough in quantity, sauce mixing, or taking pictures. Definitely eat it when the woman is around.) Day 3 in Hawaii But I already ate it twice. (Tested by male and female owners respectively) I will probably go there 2-3 more times until I go to Korea.“

“Truly a hidden gem. Ice cream cupcakes?!! Hibiki ice cream?!!Custom two layered ice cream cakes?!I am shocked that this place isn't popping off ...yet. I had their skittles cupcake and hibiki ice cream the first time. For take out, I got my wife the smores and ube cupcakes to go. I couldn't stop craving it so I was back the next week. I also bought a custom skittles cake for a friend's birthday and everyone was blown away by it. I requested a rainbow skittles cake and the meringue was just awesome. Though skittles wasn't everyone's favorite as it is tart. Any skittles fan will love this cake.

The ice cream is good decent amount of flavors to pick from and I got myself a strawberry milkshake and you can get any flavor of milkshake you aslong as they have the ice cream flavor of it. “Sat outside with a beautiful, direct view of the ocean. Ordered a chicken and gnocchi dish. Never had gnocchi before and was expecting something less dumpling-like and more pasta-like. The chicken and pesto in the dish were perfect. When our waitperson asked because I had left most of the gnocchi on my plate, I explained that it was simply unexpected, not that I was complaining. He notified his supervisor who came to check, and I again said it was not a complaint. He offered to substitute something else, but I was already full and looking forward to dessert. They removed the charge from the bill instead without me asking them to do so. Hostess and waitperson were professional, friendly, and efficient. Pricing is quite reasonable considering that this is tourist central within walking distance of Waikiki beaches. Happy to return another time.“

“The flavors had so many different flavors and I had a couple of the free samples which are great for new customers and children. the line wasn’t very long and the gelato wasn’t all too special but for a medium price range it was a good treat to walk and eat downtown with friends and family. there is areas to sit outside and enjoy the view and nice people of hawaii. A lot of times, they are unique twists on American or European desserts. This place is no exception and does it well. I had a mango Dole Whip with a mochi waffle pop. I love the fact that they make the mochi waffle fresh, so you get the hot waffle next to that cold Dole Whip. Great combination. At about $7, it isn't bad considering they are making something fresh for you versus just scooping out something into a cup and sending you on your way. The staff was friendly and showed care in their preparation of my order. There is a good assortment of different offerings, so you'll find something for just about any taste moods.“

“We shared two bowls- the Amazon and the Chunkadelic for two of us for breakfast. The bowls are very large so if it’s a snack not a meal a cup will be my choice. They were both great! Ladies working there were super nice and the service was fast- we were there early so we didn’t have a line.“

I have the receipt for Second transaction. Looked at my bank statement online and saw 2 pending transactions from the same establishment. I called in and asked the worker that there is two pending transactions and that I should give it 24hrs. Well 24 hrs went by and the first transaction that was approved went through. Tried calling the establishment but no answer. I got my refund and the cashier working was really friendly and helpful.“

“Fun little sweets shop in Koko Marina that's perfect for after dinner dessert. They're generous with samples, the flavors are so good. It's a little pricey but rent in that mall isn't cheap, so you can't blame them. Definitely the best place for dessert on the East side of town.“

Ube and peach were the seasonal flavors available, though almost everyone ordered matcha.

Original, 2023:
Amazingly creamy, lightly bitter matcha soft serve!
We ordered a matcha shave ice with matcha soft serve to share between 2 adults.
Plenty of dessert to go around.

Ice was a tad chunky and crunchy, not super fine.
3 mochi balls and 1 chestnut
A scoop of sweetened red beans
The soft serve was swirled and more matcha powder was sprinkled on top

This matcha shave ice is winning against my previous favorite at Uncle Clay's HOPA.

First week of March 2023: special flavors are Ube and
Sakura (Cherry Blossoms), which can be swirled together.
I would like to try the Ube next time. Sakura sounds pretty good, but Matcha will likely be the favored choice each time.

Staff were extremely polite and pleasant.
Shop doesn't accept cash, you must use a credit card or your phone (payment via Square).
