“Picture is the Pineapple Sky, it's a green tea + juice blend with lychee jelly. It tastes just as yummy as it looks, zero additional sugar added (you choose) and still very sweet. I didn't get a picture, but the other drinks ordered were extra beautiful too. This is a really fun concept and interior, more interesting and engaging in person as compared to photos/videos. Definitely will be back.“

“I was lucky enough to be gifted the Bibingka Brownies by a family member. And omg, it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. Moist, not too sweet, delectable and perfect!!!! I looked up this business and saw all the unique ice cream pie and ice cream cake flavors and am planning a trip to Honolulu soon to taste everything on the menu!!! A lot of times, they are unique twists on American or European desserts. This place is no exception and does it well. I had a mango Dole Whip with a mochi waffle pop. I love the fact that they make the mochi waffle fresh, so you get the hot waffle next to that cold Dole Whip. Great combination. At about $7, it isn't bad considering they are making something fresh for you versus just scooping out something into a cup and sending you on your way. The staff was friendly and showed care in their preparation of my order. There is a good assortment of different offerings, so you'll find something for just about any taste moods.“

“Banan in Hawaii quickly became one of my favorite stops during my time on Oahu, especially hitting up their Waikiki spot on a hot afternoon. Those locally grown bananas they use are just insanely fresh and amazing—super sweet with this bright, tropical flavor that hits different from anything you get back home, creamy and aromatic like they were picked that morning and turned into this smooth soft-serve right there. But honestly, the banana “ice cream” part was more like a nice cool base that held everything together rather than the main event. if you put me in a blind taste test, I would not be able to tell that it’s banana. What really made it stand out was the whole presentation and all that incredible fresh fruit piled on top, served in a carved-out half pineapple that looked so vibrant and fun, like it came straight from the farm. You get big chunks of juicy fresh pineapple right from the shell itself, plus ripe mango, strawberries, and papaya arranged beautifully inside, with an amazing honey drizzle that ties it all together with this light, natural sweetness, mixed with shaved coconut and some macadamia nuts for crunch. It looked inviting, and every bite mixed the silky banana with those bursting fruit flavors and textures that felt like you were just celebrating Hawaii’s best produce in one perfect, refreshing spoonful. Super satisfying without being heavy, and it left me feeling good after.“

“Food: My first time didn’t had a great impression because the matcha latte I ordered barely tasted any matcha and it was very watery.

My second time was better because I ordered their gelato dessert instead. I got the matcha anmitsu that comes with 2 gelato flavors of your choice, 4 pieces of mochi, red bean paste, 2 pieces of strawberries, jelly, brown sugar syrup, and whip cream. We got the hojicha chocolate and kinako gelato. The hojicha chocolate flavor was so good, it was very strong and rich at the same time. The chocolate part came from the chocolate chunks and not necessarily blended with the hojicha. The kinako was a bit on the lighter nuttier side.

Service: Very friendly and helpful. They gave us samples to try!

Atmosphere: reminded me of the matcha places in Japan. Very nice decor of the matcha bowls and bar seating. Love the wood decor.

“While visiting Hawaii and staying in the Ala Moana area, I decided to stop by the Yoajung ice cream store since it was close to our hotel. I was craving something sweet yet refreshing, so I decided to order the choco strawberry cup, and it did not disappoint because it was delicious and refreshing! The staff added plenty of dark chocolate on my cup which made it extra yummy. The cashier was also super friendly, which made the experience even better.“

“Wow! AMAZING & very unique gelato cake!!! I have got the Nipponpolitan (matcha, black sesame and red bean) Wow, what a cake! Absolutely delicious, delightful and very special. “I visited the baskin robbins at kamshopping today and had a great experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Even though the store was undergoing renovations, it was still impressively clean and well-organized. It’s clear they care about both their customers and their space. “This was my first, last, and best shave ice during my time in Waikiki beach. I got a shave ice with mango, cherry, and watermelon. I also added the triple mango ice cream and asked them to put it at the bottom so it didn’t melt. Would highly recommend what I just mentioned. Loved everything about this shave ice. I celebrated every bite, but dreaded the last one. If there was an option for 10 stars, I would give it. Overall, it was phenomenal. Make sure you give it a try!“

“Good not great, matcha is pretty solid quality but the hojicha is just okay. It feels like more of an afterthought as it’s the less popular of the two. I do think the desserts are something I’d like to come back for though. I hope they source a better hojicha powder in the future for their lattes. Plenty of seating as well.“

“I would really never review a chain like this. BUT only 1 reason. The gentleman that worked last night Friday May 24, 2024, closing shift. Did the best job that I ever seen. Kept his composure, greeted and thanked customers. Serviced a continuous line BY HIMSELF. Which included taking orders, making orders and cashiering, AGAIN BY HIMSELF. Did an amazing job. Not only has to be his own security for safety purposes but wow he deserves a raise. Then he has to close the place alone. Thats a lot of responsibility. Easily this was thee employee of the month hands down, even year. Kid If your reading this and they don't give you a raise contact me I will get you a better job.“
