I usually get cinnamon bites and I was kind of sus about the way they made it because it didn’t look like the cinnamon sugar got on every pretzel but was so surprised when I ate them all and they all had cinnamon flavor on it. “We have been to Senia before and it is always a great experience. The four of us pick several snacks from the top of the menu and fill in with various sides. We have never been disappointed and this time we tried the Roasted Bone Marrow, what a treat! Josh, our waiter said we would pick this every time we come back and he is right! We also loved the mushroom and cheese tarts with the gruyere foam and mushroom powder. There was a discussion about another order but, we had several more dishes coming. Kabocha Squash Agnolotti is a must for the many flavors. Yikes everything was great!“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“

“I stopped in at Yard House and ordered the small chicken salad along with a side of sweet potato fries. The “small” salad was actually quite generous in size — fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful enough to feel like a full meal on its own. It had a good balance of ingredients, with the chicken cooked just right and served in a way that felt both hearty and light.

The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and they came with a maple syrup dip. That was a first for me, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise — the sweetness of the syrup paired nicely with the savory fries and gave them a unique flavor profile compared to the usual ketchup or aioli.

Service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely welcoming, which made the overall experience more enjoyable.

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

“TLDR: Melissa is AWESOME! But, if you are gluten free (ie no soy sauce with wheat) or allergic to mushrooms, you can’t eat here.

My husband and I combined have those allergies and Melissa was very kind to ask the chef if we could be accommodated. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Melissa was so respectful of how she informed us - aaaaaaand then offered us a complimentary cocktail (which was on point) and a reservation down the road at a nice restaurant that she knew could accommodate our allergies!

I don’t envy her for effectively having to kick us out, but she (and the entire staff) were so gracious to us. Thank you Melissa!“

“Simple Joy Vegetarian Cuisine truly lives up to its name. The food brought me so much comfort and flavor during my time in Honolulu. I had their crispy vegan egg rolls and fried rice — both perfectly seasoned, light yet satisfying, and full of texture. “Brunch was very good as we had the Prime Rib dip sandwich. Service was friendly but, with only one server and one cook- it was slow service. The biggest issue with the ambiance is that they need to have better upkeep. Bathrooms were pretty filthy and disgusting- they need to be refurbished. I think it could be a great neighborhood restaurant with a spruce up and more help.“

“I've seen Chrisette Michele and Raheem Devaughn and both artist put on an incredible show. The venue is intimate and nice. There is no bad seat in the venue because your view of the artist will be good. The venue is first come first serve so I recommend arriving early to select your preferred seating arrangements.

The food in my opinion is however over priced but hey, you get what you get.

“It's my neighborhood so I use it often.This is a Whole Foods store in Kahala Mall, right next to Whole Foods, and although it looks like a pub at first glance, the food is delicious. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy just the food without having to order alcohol.The daily menu is a great deal!I often go on ?Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays. The store opens at 1pm in the afternoon.“
