“We had reservations because it’s highly recommended as it’s a gem of a place and were greeted kindly - hostess asked us if we have even been to Maui Wine and showed us where the restrooms were- we didn’t even ask so I thought that was so kind of her. Every single staff member came to our table asking how everything was and if we needed anything, cleared empty dishes ect. - Explained the types of wine and our food selections for us and we left with some wine and jelly 🥰 It was an amazing experience! The centerpiece of the visit is undeniably the view from the lawn. It is truly breathtaking, offering a panoramic expanse that perfectly frames the afternoon. We were lucky enough to watch the sunset from this vantage point, and the sight of the sun dipping below the horizon was nothing short of perfect—a moment straight out of a postcard.
Beyond the scenery, the culinary offerings were outstanding. We started with the legendary Poke Nachos, and they were a game-changer. The clever use of crispy wonton chips in place of traditional nachos was a chef's kiss moment, providing the perfect, light crunch for the fresh poke topping.
Our entrees continued the trend of excellence. My kids raved about the DaBeest Burger, unanimously declaring it one of the best they had ever tasted. I had the Chopped Salad with Sesame Ahi, which was delightful—fresh, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. My wife’s choice, the Poke Tacos, had an outstanding presentation that matched the quality of the ingredients inside.
The Ocean Distillery has immediately secured a spot on our must-visit list for every future trip to Maui. Whether you come for the cocktails, the view, or the food, you will leave feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly impressed. Highly, highly recommended!“

“This place was fantastic. The service was personal and world class. All of the workers there clearly had personal interest in making sure our experience was fantastic and that we loved the food. They even took extra special care to ask what we were doing next what we have already done our vacation and gave us a list of things that we should check out that were local before we left the island. “Had one of the best beef burgers of my life! The jalapeño avocado burger after a day of horseback riding at Triple L ranch was to die for. I love the little store here too - cute souvenirs and t shirts. Even if you aren’t horse back riding, which I highly recommend, this part of the island is quite charming and worth the drive just to explore!“

Sunday Breakfast outside overlooking South Central Maui with a view of the Pacific Ocean and Mauna Kahalawai (West Maui mountains.) The best eggs Benedict I have had. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious!
