“My son and I saw your IG post for Christmas Eve Prime Rib Family Dinner and we quickly made a reservation. As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. Our Service was excellent and incredibly friendly, everyone was working harmoniously. We have started a new tradition in our family with yours. Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! “This has become our favorite place to eat in Maui. We eat here every trip but this time we came back 3 times!! Two favorites, coconut shrimp with sweet potato fries AND the mahi mahi (I now prefer this over Paia Fish Market’s) it was so tender and the sauce served with it is out of this world!! I actually got and extra sauce when we left to eat with our steak the next day. It was that good!! The owner is the sweetest and her gift of creating delicious food is next level. Cannot wait to come back!“

“We visited Coconut’s Fish Cafe at the Azeka Shopping Center on December 4th, 2025 around 6:00 PM, and honestly, we had a really nice time. The place was clean the moment we walked in — tables, floors, everything looked well taken care of. It has a simple, relaxed island vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away.
The service was quick, and the staff kept things moving smoothly even with a steady flow of people coming in. Our food came out faster than we expected, which was great.
We tried the Coconut Shrimp, the Kalua Pork Plate, and the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi Plate, along with Aloha Maid juice, guava nectar, and a soft drink. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were good, and the flavors were light and easy to enjoy.
Overall, we walked out happy. It’s a clean spot with fast service, decent flavors, and a laid-back feel a solid choice for a casual dinner in Kihei.“

“This place is a gem. The NY Steak and Rib Eye are phenomenal. It’s rare that the whole family agrees on a restaurant, but our kids loved the food so much they asked to come back every night. We ended up dining here three times during our short vacation in Maui.“

It was utterly divine!!!! I wish I could take this plate home on the flight. I wouldn’t miss out on this meal.
My husband got the combo plate with the fukake fried poke and the ribeye and it was mouth watering. ALL the flavor and juiciness you could imagine. I 1000000000000% would recommend.“

“Balai Pata is an absolute gem, and absolutely needed on North Shore / Central Maui in what’s otherwise a restaurant abyss of tourist forward formulaic burgers & fish tacos. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but it deserves way more recognition than it has received. I’m honestly shocked it’s not packed every single night. Their innovative fusion menu is both playful and thoughtful, with fresh, farm-to-table dishes that change often enough to keep every visit exciting. The staff are the sweetest aunties, making us feel like family and doting on our toddler every time we come. Our little one (and the rest of us!) can’t get enough of their malunggay (moringa) handmade garlic noodles. No liquor license yet, so it’s BYOB, which makes for an even more relaxed, homey vibe. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island - and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.“

“Happened to be walking by, saw how busy it was, and loved the chill vibe so I waited for a table and so glad I did. Staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Food was outstanding! The breakfast burrito was 10/10! The smash burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long long time. The pancakes were fluffy and full of flavor! Would 110% recommend Cafe Mambo and definitely worth the wait if they don’t have an empty table!“

“We had a great dinner here. The lobster risotto was done perfectly. Compliments to the chef. All the cocktails we tried we liked so much we all had at least two. They had a couple big parties and our waitress took care of us to make sure we got our order in so we didn't have to wait long. The layout and atmosphere is good for a nice night out. Definitely check it out.“
