“Sushi is very good quality. Service is to notch as well. Really like that they're fast with the service and very friendly attitude. Suggest making reservations at night because space is limited. Notice a line of people waiting around 6pm in a Sunday.“

“I went here today for brunch because we had a late start to the day.We wanted sushi today so we went here, they let us in early(5 mins before open).we were surprised on how cheap their food was.i got the spicy ahi don and 3 crab hand rolls, plus a green tea.the food came within 4 minutes so the wait wasnt long.the tables and floors were clean, their were things to look at,and the room was cool.
Parking: It's in the corner so it might be a long walk to get there.“

“Sushi Spot is truly the place to go for fresh, high-quality sushi. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. The staff was so kind and attentive—always keeping our waters full and our table tidy throughout the meal. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!“

“Tucked away on the same level as McDonald’s in Aiea, this sushi spot is a place where locals go. It might be easy to miss, but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. There’s convenient parking, and while there’s no indoor seating, the outdoor tables make for a casual vibe.
Service is impressively quick, and the portion sizes are generous—ordering just one roll can be a lot for one person. If you’re with friends, I highly recommend sharing a few different rolls to get the full experience.
The staff (or possibly the owner) was incredibly kind and helpful. He let me know the fresh ahi was sold out for the day, but offered great suggestions for other rolls to try. Prices are fair, especially considering the portion sizes and Hawaii’s cost of living.
If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-try. Delicious sushi, great service, and a chance to support a small business :)“

“Some of the best sushi you will ever have... Owner and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the sushi/poke is outstanding. Aloha Sushi is a must visit for local, fresh, amazing sushi, and if the sushi doesn't make you want to come back for more, the friendly owner/staff certainly will.“

“Spicy Ahi has been our go-to Friday dinner spot for many years, and for good reason! Their ingredients are always fresh and high quality, making every meal consistently delicious. What truly sets them apart is their careful attention to takeout packaging—everything is packed thoughtfully to ensure the food stays fresh and intact by the time we get home. Whether dining in or taking out, Spicy Ahi never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“You do need to go there early in the AM. They do run out before closing. Sometimes if you know what you want it is best to order ahead of time. My husband loves the chicken and oshi sushi. They do mix the type of sushi (rice) with either musubi, maki or/and oshi. The bento comes in two sizes. Check out their website for choices.“

“We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) All in all great grub. We will be back!“

“We eat here at least twice a month. Food is always fresh and service is normally fast and friendly. The restaurant is fun and you order from your mobile device and the food is delivered via a train system that runs along the tables. I feel the prices are fair and they have the best French fries! Only complaint would be that this location is always very busy and we usually have to wait 15-30 minutes for a table.“

“we came from town all the way here for the first time and decided to eat here as they had no wait, it was a great decision in the end because the food was 10/10. it’s a super small family owned place, only one serve and (i believe) the owner going around helping customers. service was great and the chefs handed the rolls directly to us at our table once they were prepared! super happy with our experience.“

“Auntie was so thoughtful of our kids, super sweet and generous with the ginger! We've ordered delivery a few times, but I'm happy to know that going in is a great experience too.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space and a friendly atmosphere make this place great for kids. There are also little cartoon strips along the windows for kids to look at while they wait.“

“I wonder why they serve human food but have the name “fish food”? hm, the world may never know. anywho, i had the spicy ahi bowl (?) that came with rice, some fish, and 2 pieces of gyoza with sauce. the fish was good and had the spiciness of a 3.5 on the caucasian scale of spicy; has a little kick but won’t make you cry out for jésus or anything. the convenience of having poke on base was amazing but the portion size was not! $15 or so for a small bento sized meal is a little pricey as poke bowls at foodland are about $5 cheaper and they give you more fish and rice as well. For the size of fish food hawaiis spicy ahi, i have attached a pic to show the size with an ice breakers ice cube gum for a scale (didn’t have banana for scale)“

“Anytime I'm at the NEX or Commissary, I get a bite to eat here. The food is delicious, no matter what you get on the menu. I prefer the shrimp tempora. It's always crowded in the food court (just how food courts are), but getting food to go is good too.“

“There's not enough space to right the good things about this place. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and acknowledged by everyone, including the sushi chefs. Water and drink order is perfectly timed. Whether you order teishoku complete meals or sushi, the flavor and and portions are spot on. If you choose to sit at the sushi counter, the spread is just amazing. From white fish, tuna, to shellfish and sometimes even a fruit or plant to cleanse the pallet. I would recommend reservations as this place is always busy. Takeout is also very good!“

“Great sushi at a regular sushi price. Not cheap, not expensive. Good food. I've ordered plenty from here via Uber Eats. Now that I've visited in person once I'll definitely be back many times for the atmosphere.Nice restaurant overall with somewhat limited indoor seating of both tables and a bar. Looks like a nice cozy place and gave off a comfy home / apartment vibe.“

“I'd prefer this place for sushi any day👏🏽 they are very welcoming through service. Although the wait times are longer depending on the rushes- you won't be disappointed!
Atmosphere could use some work, only because for us Polynesian people, especially are bigger than Asians so its an adjustment when you need to walk up and in the way of ppl who phone order + the workers. The walkways are really petite.
Food is 10/10😋 super tasty & FRESH! thank you!“

“I've never had shabushabu before and it was amazing! So many choices of everything! It's buffet and ridiculously delicious. So much food and so healthy too. Good idea to go for lunch because it's cheaper than dinner. And they were so kind to let me and my friend sit as long as we wanted. The service was wonder. I will definitely be back!“

“This food is EXCELLENT. Got #20: chicken and beef, with sides of seaweed, noodles, cabbage, bok choi, rice, gyoza. It was DELICIOUS. If my stay here was longer, I would be back for sure. The owner was so nice. He gave my sisters and I complementary mango drinks which were so fresh, real and delicious. Support this awesome business!“

“I would recommend making a restaurant here in Las Vegas. Genki is a staple back home in Hawaii, and no sushi place here is up to par. I feel like you folks will make a lot of money, especially because of the amount of locals here.“

“I like the food here. We always stop here when I visit. The kids love gyoza's here but something changed and now they don't like it. I like the funness of ordering and the variety. The other day ordered a bento box it never came, so we cancelled it. But, we loved the cups they gave the kids. I liked the tempura, the corn dish, the tuna was rich this time, I also like the egg seaweed. But I did get up twice to get help, and also it could be cleaner, we were there at lunch.“

“It was a great way to end our day of shopping. That night we walked in with 4 adults and 1 six year old and honestly my family members are Hawaiians so obviously their more on the heftier side so its hard to fit us all in 1 both even with just 4 of us lol but we played up to the host expecting to check in and wait but luckily we were taken to a table right away. We noticed that their was alot of families there so it was a bit loud but that kind of at home dinner with the family loud. No one's yelling but everyone's laughing hysterically. I like the ordering on your phone its so convenient the what time is surprisingly fast and my daughter loves the train. Even though we ordered thru the phone the waitress was very attentive to us and I completely enjoyed our dinner. We definitely will travel the extra distance to eat here regularly“

“There was a wonderful koi pond in this restaurant. It was not that busy. However, they seemed shorthanded because I kept looking for the waitress for a take out box. Finally, I had to stand up and ask for one from a man in a red shirt who appeared to be helping another table. The food was good. I especially liked the tempura of pumpkin, and string beans, the shrimp tempura was perfect. I ordered miso Butterfish. My husband liked it, but I did not like that it had a lot of black char on it. I read somewhere that the black Char is carcinogenic.“
