“Formerly known as Maili Pastele, Ohana Maili Market is now its name. They have awesome food for lunch & maybe dinner too. My favorite is their Poke Bowl with Taegu on top!! And then they have other foods such as laulau plate, baked chicken mushroom, hamburger steak, etc. These guys is THE BOMB dot COM!!“
“Best donut and bake shop I’ve been to on the West side!! It doesn’t have the fancy ones, and may not have exactly what you are looking/craving for at the time…but they will definitely surprise you!! In a great way! Everything is so fresh and so ono!!“
“I rarely make it down to the North Shore but whenever I do - each and every time - i never fail to stop by this bakery! I always stock up on their snow puppies. I don't know what it is, but it is soooo delicious. Not too heavy and not too sweet but JUST the perfect amount. It's the perfect snack after a long day of swimming and it certainly satisfies my cravings. The custard inside is added at just the right amount and the drizzled chocolate on top gives it just the right finishing touches. They have other pastries and items here too but this is definitely what we come for every time!“
“These are seriously some fantastic cookies. It’s definitely an indulgence since they are almost $5 each, but for a treat once in a while it’s totally worth it. They rotate the flavors often, so you can get a new experience almost every time you go in. The cookies are served warm, so prime eating time is immediately after ordering. They are also good the next day. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth going, if only just once.“
“What a quaint bakery in North Shore. Reminds me of being in my childhood large eat in down home country kitchen in North Carolina watching my Mom make crust, homemade butter, breads and so forth...The aroma was captivating in Hi Pie, took me to my childhood. When i walked in, I saw on 1 counter the prepping of individual size pot pies with homemade pie crust and pie filling and on another counter a quiche that was being sliced. In the small showcase there was a PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE, carrot sheet like cake with lil coconut on top, blueberry cheesecake and a few other things. I was extremely surprised and full of smiles. Just a really feel good and clean place. The lady who helped me was wonderful and appeared to be kind.... again adding to the atmosphere of my childhood and happy place. I ordered a slice of PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE and a chicken pot pie.I was so in the atmosphere of Hi Pie that i forgot to take pictures. When i tell you this place reminded me of being in our country kitchen full of everything homemade and happy!!! Hi Pie is the place!* PINEAPPLE CREAM pie: umh umh umh... delicious just simply delicious. The slice was overly generous, the taste was outstandingly amazing. The crust is beautifully buttery without being a mouth full of oils... the cream is fluffy and leaves a toasty pineapple taste that makes you smack your lips. (Only have picture of the pie after i ate 2/3s)* Individual size chicken pot pie: heated it up for 20mins on 350. My hubby loved it. He said the crust was flakey and flavorful. The pie filling was seasoned well and yummy. (Only have picture of the uncooked pot pie because my hubby started eating before i could take pictures).I belv Hi Pie is now my favorite bakery in Oahu!A must visit for every visitor to Oahu!“
“I have ordered two dozen cupcakes twice from Cupcake and Things Bakery for birthday parties and have been impressed both times. The cupcakes are moist, the frosting is light and fluffy, tastes homemade and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. The decorations are hands down adorable and their flavors are fantastic. I told my husband last night they are probably the best cupcakes I have ever ordered. The kids love them and parents always ask where we purchase them. They are a bit on the pricier side but I'm okay with that since they taste so great, and the service has been exceptional both times. My only con is the cupcake packaging is really flimsy and I have damaged a couple in transport but thankfully kids don't typically notice.“
“Aesthetically pleasing, clean, open layout. Reminds me of the cafes in Korea/Japan. Friendly service. When we walked in there was a long line but it moved quickly. I tried the sea salt matcha latte - ono! Tastes like a normal latte with the added taste of heavy whipping cream with salt. You should try it! Choc chip cookie has oatmeal in it. Very nice and soft. Choc chips are big. Ube pastry looks good but wasn't as much cream inside as expected. Still tastes good tho!“
“Where we ate most of our breakfasts and lunches during our visit. The food was alright but the limited menu did get old after a while. The pizza was good and made for leftovers the next day at lunch.Menu items are expensive but about on par for what you would pay at a resort.Don't sleep on the refillable cups! We opted for the stainless steel mugs. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion. They kept our beverages cold for long stretches of the day, even in the sun. A little tip, buy yourself a bottle of liquor and fill your cup. You have unlimited mixers at the soda machines with these cups. It will save you hundreds of dollars on cocktails!“
“Love this place. Passing this place, the aroma is SO hard to miss! The cookies are quite delish. My go to is just the simple chocolate chip. I love both the large cookie and their minis in a cup. It's so hard to stop at just a few... I tend to eat almost the whole thing. No complaints about customer service. I recommend!“
“Great little restaurant located across the street from Pokai Beach. We had the apple turnovers, chocolate cookies, deluxe cheese burger, fries and shaved ice. All were excellent and well priced. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Great service!“
