“Tasty food, beautiful location at sunset, friendly staff.
WOULD ORDER AGAIN: Seared Ora King Salmon and Spiny Lobster Coconut Curry (mains) , Island Time and Rum Punch(drinks), Banana Pudding (dessert)
WOULD SKIP: Maui Nui Venison Lumpia (starter) and Roasted Brussels (side), both were average
I CANNOT GIVE 5 STARS BECAUSE: They were hosting a Luau right next door so my partner and I were unable to have a quite/romantic dinner, expensive menu, lack of parking

Parking: If you are NOT staying at the resort, there is no parking, you are required to use the complimentary valet service and walk through the resort to the restaurant“

“Last time we dined here, we were sorely disappointed....and it came down to the waiter who did nothing of what we requested from the wine to the cooking instructions for the meat. The waiter was a dud, but not the restaurant, so we gave it another go. This time we weren't disappointed and enjoyed every last bite and drink. “We recently had our wedding at Gannons and it was AMAZING! We were blown away at how beautiful the ceremony site was (Molikini Lookout) as well as the reception site (Lower Lawn). Gannons was great to work with from the start! If you are looking to get married at Gannons we would HIGHLY recommend upgrading your ceremony site to Molokini Lookout, the view was breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice!! We are so glad we decided to have our ceremony at Molokini Lookout. We were really happy with all the staff (especially the bartender, he was AWESOME!!). We did have a few hiccups with dinner and dessert. The crab cakes (appetizer) were to DIE for and everyone loved the salads. We were disappointed that the fish that was served along with the filet of beef for dinner was very fishy and not edible. The filet however was delicious. The timing of the meals was also disappointing. The salads were served quickly but the dinner course took quite a long time to come out after. We had guests asking where the dinner was. We also had the same issue with dessert, unfortunately. The dessert was not brought out until after last call was made (over an hour after dinner was finished) and less than 15 minutes before the wedding was over! We had decided to add the "chef selection of desserts" for our guests along with serving cake and unfortunately hardly any of our guest were able to enjoy any dessert since it was served so late. So, if you do decide to get married at Gannons (which we still recommend) we would suggest having a detailed timeline for courses and dessert to avoid what happened to us. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to choose Gannons for our wedding day!“

“When our friend suggested that we have lunch here, we were excited since we saw a few tiktoks talking about how great this place was. Everyone here were super friendly and it was a great. The food was fantastic. Our 2 year old nephew LOVED the Cajun rice and wated more. The French fries were crispy and delicious. But the fish..? I will go back to Hawaii just to have more.“

“Loved their garlic shrimps. Side salad, taro mush potatoes, curry taste rice, and sauce were also good. It was a perfect size for me, but my husband said he wished for bigger portions. Shrimps didn't smell at all, so they must be pretty fresh. Eating area had a small covered area, so it was hot and windy.“

“All I can say is wow! This place is incredible. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and it blew our expectations out of the water. I had the most delicious Mahi Mahi with coconut cream, butternut squash, purple potatoes, and mango. It was by a far the single best fish dish I have ever eaten. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The cooking team in the back are absolute legends. My girlfriend had the fish and chips and it was also incredible with super fresh fish that was lightly fried so you could still enjoy the fish inside the shell. Incredible. I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a shot

“My wife was looking for the best coconut shrimp on the Island, and as other reviews have said, she found it! I had the Kalua pork, which was amazing as well! Their coleslaw, and even the fries and rice was great!

Dietary restrictions: I can't eat shellfish, due to an allergy, but there were items on the menu that I was able to have.“

“A wonderful culinary experience. The entire menu is based on a fusion of Hawaiian culture. The pork belly bao buns, lavender honey crispy shrimp are out of this world. They do not fall short on great tasting entrees either. The seafood lau lau is absolutely delicious. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without exceptional drinks and dessert, which you can count on Kō serving.

“One of the nicest experiences on Maui. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

Cocktails were excellent and unique. I recommend the Pina on the Rocks, it was an innovative twist on your traditional pina colada and was the best cocktail I had on my visit to Maui.

The food was some of the best we had on our trip. Portions were large and the dishes themselves were a refreshing change to other alternatives nearby. Both of our starters were excellent and our mains were good as well. The only critique for our party was the fish was slightly overdone for the market catch and noodles. **The Mexican fried chicken on the special menu was incredible. It was the highlight in terms of food and I would highly recommend it if it’s available.

Colin, our server and the rest of the wait staff positively contributed to our experience and the overall atmosphere offering great recommendations throughout the evening.
