“We purchased the seaside experience for sunset. The service was perfect, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset, and the food was amazing. My wife had the lobster and I had the seared scallops. My only issue was that the scallops dish was a very small amount of food for the price. We planned to order sides but our server suggested that the dishes we ordered had enough food that we wouldn't need them. The scallops did have Brussels sprouts (about two, cut in halves), and three scallops. The server stated that the dish had recently moved from the starter dishes to a main. I felt like the kitchen didn't get the memo. 🤪 my wife's dish had plenty of food, so she shared with me.“

“We had salmon that was overcooked – small wonder in a Steak House; the New York Strip tasted beefy and juicy as it should, but I could only eat two thirds because of residual tendons. The „Port of Manhattan“ is an inside tip for dessert.“

“We recently had our wedding at Gannons and it was AMAZING! We were blown away at how beautiful the ceremony site was (Molikini Lookout) as well as the reception site (Lower Lawn). Gannons was great to work with from the start! If you are looking to get married at Gannons we would HIGHLY recommend upgrading your ceremony site to Molokini Lookout, the view was breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice!! We are so glad we decided to have our ceremony at Molokini Lookout. We were really happy with all the staff (especially the bartender, he was AWESOME!!). We did have a few hiccups with dinner and dessert. The crab cakes (appetizer) were to DIE for and everyone loved the salads. We were disappointed that the fish that was served along with the filet of beef for dinner was very fishy and not edible. The filet however was delicious. The timing of the meals was also disappointing. The salads were served quickly but the dinner course took quite a long time to come out after. We had guests asking where the dinner was. We also had the same issue with dessert, unfortunately. The dessert was not brought out until after last call was made (over an hour after dinner was finished) and less than 15 minutes before the wedding was over! We had decided to add the "chef selection of desserts" for our guests along with serving cake and unfortunately hardly any of our guest were able to enjoy any dessert since it was served so late. So, if you do decide to get married at Gannons (which we still recommend) we would suggest having a detailed timeline for courses and dessert to avoid what happened to us. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to choose Gannons for our wedding day!“

“We went to a local place for lunch that had great reviews and were very disappointed. Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! “I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.

Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)“

“Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill: Fresh Flavors, Worth the Wait!

Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill is a highly recommended spot! Their coconut shrimp are delicious, and the grilled mahi-mahi with special sauce is so yummy. Every plate comes with tasty rice, sweet potato salad, and green salad. All the meals are consistently good! While the waiting time can be a bit long, the shaded outdoor seating with 6 long tables makes it comfortable. Definitely check this place out for fantastic seafood.“

“Nice place for quick dinner. Everything we ordered came out great! Nice employees and great atmosphere. Portion size is a bit small for the price, but I guess it's a norm for Hawaii. We had nice meals without any leftovers which is very unusual for US restaurants :) Highly recommend!“

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.“

“This has always been one of our most favorite restaurants. All dishes they offer are simply outstanding. This time we had Ahi Poke Nachos, Steak Poke and the Ramen dish. So incredibly tasty for a very good price. And what a view!

Update 2: We visited yet again yesterday. The food keeps on getting better. The crispy pork belly appetizer was beyond excellent. One of the best dish we ever had. Ahi & Steak Pokd were outstanding as always. I would give more than five stars if it would be possible.😀“

“Last meal in Maui last night.i had the best slow roasted beef short ribs and I smoke meats at home in Connecticut. So delicious. My common law wife had a Eggplant dish that she also loved. Service was quick and friendly. No reservation needed. Walked in at 7pm on a Friday.“

“The three of us shared the Tomahawk steak which was cooked to perfection. We also shared the brussel sprouts which were very flavorful as were the Truffle Parmesan fries. Their new bread option was scrumptious. It cost $16 and worth every penny. We saved the best for last - their vanilla coco creme brulee. Divine... Heavenly..best ever were the words everyone used to describe this amazing dessert. Thank you Beau for your impeccable and very sweet service. It was my 75th birthday and everyone made it a birthday to remember right down to the valet who gave me a big birthday hug and a fresh flower lei.“
