“We loved attending the Luau at Te Au Moana! Located at the end of the hotel property, overlooking the ocean and perfect view of the sunset. The food is served family style and we enjoyed all of the different dishes they offered. The MC was very friendly and engaging in telling the history of Maui and their culture. The show was well curated, engaging and the dancers were phenomenal! The finale with the fire dancers was a highlight. Free parking in the garage of the hotel was appreciated, and it gave us the chance to walk through the lovely hotel resort.“

“We had salmon that was overcooked – small wonder in a Steak House; the New York Strip tasted beefy and juicy as it should, but I could only eat two thirds because of residual tendons. The „Port of Manhattan“ is an inside tip for dessert.“

“The pizza is absolutely fantastic! We've eaten at other locations of theirs on other islands and have never been disappointed. We were happy to see a location close to our Airbnb. They have a super cute patio you can sit out on with tiki torches to add to the “Hawaiian feel”. The only downfall is they don’t currently have their liquor license so you can’t order alcohol of any kind (including beer) but, the BYOB feature is a great option and a way to save money as well!“

“This place was fantastic. The service was personal and world class. All of the workers there clearly had personal interest in making sure our experience was fantastic and that we loved the food. They even took extra special care to ask what we were doing next what we have already done our vacation and gave us a list of things that we should check out that were local before we left the island. “I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.

Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)“

Food was amazing and so was our server.

We wanted vegetarian meals and they helped guide through their menu. We ordered a white pasta and their on-house margarita pizza. It was all delicious. Perfect sized portion for two (any be small for peeps who like to eat well; we like not so heavy dinner).

Price is on the expensive side though“

“Really good Hawaiian fare. We love the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken. If you get katsu chicken ask for extra sauce as they don't give near enough. We get take out from here every time we come to Maui. We got three plates of food for 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day.“

Since it’s Blake’s bday weekend they got ice cream for breakfast! He got birthday cake with cookies and cream and Hailey got birthday cake with bubble gum 🤪🎂🎉. We couldn’t get enough so I ordered a Chick Pea “tuna” Salad Wrap and Kyle got two giant ice cream cookie sandwiches to go! I think we found our new Sunday morning spot!!“

“This is an unassuming restaurant located in a strip mall just off of the beautiful beaches of Kihei, Maui that offers delicious fish tacos, fresh ahi & shrimp salads and yummy poke. (I understand they have another location, not too far away that probably serves similar dishes.) The advantage of this location in particular, is the bakery downstairs that fills the air with the smell of the tastiest cinnamon rolls. The portions here are generous and the quality of the seafood is superb. No frills when it comes to service; place your order at the counter, find a seat & wait for it to be delivered to your table. We had a large party of 12 and were able to all sit together, a nice perk for us. But they did forget one person's order, which was kind of a bummer because he had to wait so long for his food, most of us were finished eating ours by the time his arrived. So we shared some of our food with him while he waited. Not a problem since the portions were so large. Overall, I recommend Coconuts Fish Cafe with two thumbs up.“
