“We were in Hawaii for 8 days and ate at Poke Fix three times. The food is great, the people are friendly and they get you in and out quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.“

“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“Although it’s on the higher end concerning price this is the only poke that has stood out to me here. It is more than worth the price, the medium is almost enough for two meals I’d say. I am excited to go back soon. Good seating and the lady taking orders was very nice. There is also parking in the parking structure if there’s none in the front.“

“A little hard to find, but worth the effort for this delicious poke. So ono!!
Super fresh fish and delicious flavor options. One of the best places I’ve tried. I’ll be back for sure!
They do have a small indoor seating area, but this place is best considered for take-away.“

“Mama Kim’s has became my go-to over the years for poke. But labeling it a poke place is disingenuous. With the unique infusion of Korean flavors, interesting frequent specials Mama Kim’s is so much more! I highly recommend the deli selection—which includes my favorite kimchi on the island. 5/5“

“Small place, but the flow is well thought out. They have different snacks, jerky, deserts and sides that looked delicious. I went there to try their Poke. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to try it, there wasn't much in the display. The young girl explained that they could make a fresh batch of what I decided on. I had their Spicy Ahi on sushi rice, yuzu cucumber with the Unagi sauce, and ginger. The Ahi was actually spicy...loved it! The creaminess and flavor was just right.“

“The poke is good. Somewhat expensive but portions are generous. Aimed towards Asian/pac islander diet so a healthy portion of rice. Mainlanders might find it too much. Sushi is fresh. Got it a few times. Surimi(imitation crab meat) is good. The scallops are good. It's a full meal in a bowl. Small bowl is not much less than the regular bowl in size and price but you get to choose 3 proteins in the regular bowl. Good and consistent quality. Might have to fight for outdoor seating as it gets packed.“

“The best to ring in the new year, ran into a bit of a snafu trying to pick up my order, (no fault of theirs), she went above and beyond and still got my order! I love them and what they represent. My go to for the freshest poke on the island hands down! My friend Chef Adam Tabura recommended them and the rest is history! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Hidden gem, I love the sweet potato with the spicy ahi here. I’m from Oahu and haven’t had a favorite poke spot besides places I’ve been on Big Island or Foodland, but this place is an easy favorite. The guys who work here know their stuff haha, you get so much food too and the cost is worth it for the quality.“

“Small restaurant (there might be a bit of a line but it moves fairly quickly), fresh fish, poke bowls made to order, fresh ingredients, great flavors and freshness. I've ordered a medium bowl with sushi rice, salmon and tuna combo, with spicy mayo and ponzu (as sauces) and edamame (as topping) and it was fantastic! 😋
I hope you'll enjoy your bowl!! Bon appetite!“

“Best place so far on island that I’ve had poke. The food was really fresh, the variety of toppings and sauce was great. My favorite is the medium option I get ahi and ahi with salmon with spicy shoyu. This is a must try if you haven’t had it before.“
“I had an amazing breakfast here and would definitely come back! The guava smoothie and mango smoothie were both incredible—fresh, refreshing, and easily some of the best smoothies I’ve had. The loco moco was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, with a rich gravy that brought everything together. I also tried the fried rice with eggs and sausage, and it was just as delicious. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and everything tasted homemade and high quality.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and the entire experience was fantastic. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, this place is definitely worth a visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“I never write reviews. Ever. But Noah left me no choice.
Calling Noah the best server I have ever had is honestly disrespectful to the magnitude of what Noah is. Noah is not just a server. Noah is a once-in-a-lifetime human experience. Noah is what hospitality would look like if it descended from the heavens, put on an apron, and decided to personally change lives at Redfish Wayfinder Waikiki. My friend and I came to Hawaii thinking we would remember the beaches, the scuba diving, the scenery, the sunsets, and the time we spent together. We were wrong. When we look back on this trip and reminisce about our memories, we do not talk about the ocean. We do not talk about the palm trees. We do not talk about the island.
We talk about Noah.
Noah brought every dish with the care of someone delivering a sacred artifact. Every interaction felt like being briefly visited by the kindest soul on Earth. He was warm, thoughtful, perfect, attentive, and so unbelievably wonderful that this review feels insulting because words simply do not have the range to explain him. Five stars is offensive. There should be a separate rating system for Noah. Redfish Wayfinder Waikiki is lucky to have him, Hawaii is lucky to have him, and frankly, humanity is lucky he exists. If Noah told me the ocean was closed, I would pack up my towel and leave. If Noah said the moon was taking reservations, I would ask what time. If Noah started a religion, I would not only hear him out, I would ask where to worship.
This review does not even scratch the surface of how amazing he is. Noah should not just be employee of the month. He should be studied in schools, honored with a statue, and placed on the Hawaiian state flag.“

“Only aspect of it being a “hole in the wall” is its small location. Clearly people love it and I can see why. Employees seemed happy to be there and happily recommended their favorites. Fish was fresh and the rolls and bowls were both fantastic and perfect spice level.“

“The Food is Phenomenal – Get Here Now!
The food here was absolutely fantastic, but the service is what really sets it apart. You can always judge a place by its staff, and these guys were not only recommending everything I ate but bragging about the rest of the menu. They even let me sample a few things—it’s clear they’re proud of what they’re serving. They mentioned the grand opening is coming up shortly, so do yourself a favor and go eat here before everyone else finds out how awesome it is!“

Garlic Salmon was really delicious, and the Spicy Ahi Katsu was fantastic. Great choices.

“Paradise poke is a clean and inviting poke/local foods spot. I would put them up with the top dogs in terms of poke. I didn’t get a chance to taste their plated food but everything sounded amazing. I ordered the 2 choice poke bowl. I got the Hawaiian Alaea style with the Ginger scallion combos with the yuzu cucumbers. The bowl was so refreshing and the fish was amazingly fresh. This won’t be the last time I’ll be visiting.“

“Go here instead of the big chains - support small local shops!
Omg how have I driven past this place for the past 10 years and never stopped by?? This little hole in the wall poke shop has one of the best shoyu poke I’ve ever tried! I also really enjoyed their other flavors that I’ve tried so far - spicy masago (mmm!) & spicy ahi (more sesame oil forward, not my preference but still really good!)
No seating inside - just a quick in-and-out go type of place. Good for bringing dinner home or a poke run before going to the beach. Parking is a little tight in front of the shop, but there’s street parking by the park near by.“

“Excellent sushi, to rival Seattle and Japan. Price is on par with global prices, yes there are cheaper options, but they were open on Friday after 3pm AND the quality is OUTSTANDING. Probably some of the best flavors my wife and I have had (We get sushi every where). The eel, smoked tobiko and the spicy ahi were THE BEST we have had. Compliments to the chef!
This neighborhood needs more places like this.“

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

“Located right next to the Tapa Pool at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, this food stand was super convenient whenever the kids got hungry, so we ended up grabbing food here three or four times during our stay.
There was only one kids’ menu option—the octopus rice (#88)—but all of the tuna dishes we tried were delicious as well. Since my kids are still young, I played it safe and only let them eat the cooked octopus, not the raw fish.
The acai bowl was pretty good too. Overall, it was much more convenient than I expected, which is probably why we kept coming back.“

“Tucked away in the corner of a busy plaza, Honolulu Sushi at Ke’eaumoku feels like one of those rare hidden gems you almost want to keep to yourself—but it’s way too good not to share.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed so warmly—the owner is genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll meet, making the whole experience feel personal and inviting right away.
The nigiri sushi was hands down some of the best I’ve had—incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and crafted with so much care. Each piece just melts in your mouth, and you can truly taste the quality of the fish.
And the tempura? Absolutely flawless. Light, crisp, and not greasy at all—exactly how tempura should be. Every bite had that perfect crunch without overpowering the ingredients.
What really makes this place special is how it combines amazing food with heartfelt hospitality. It’s not flashy or overhyped—it’s just genuinely excellent.
Don’t let the tucked-away location fool you—this is easily one of the best sushi spots around. A true must-visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Very flavorful and fresh! I was starving and ate half of it before I remembered to snap a photo. The portion does seem small but it was very filling. I got the 2 option poke bowl with spicy salmon and ginger scallion ahi. I ordered half rice half greens and he also did half seaweed (ocean salad) and cucumbers. I would definitely recommend!“

“At first, I wasn’t 100% sure if I wanted to try Poké Bar, but I’m SO glad we did! It ended up being one of the most satisfying meals we had in Honolulu. My daughter had a poke bowl with rice, and I had mine over salad and OMG, it was absolutely delightful. Everything tasted fresh, flavourful, and perfectly made. Such a great spot for a light but filling meal. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Hawaii!“
