“The food was really good. The salsa was ok so make sure to ask for their spicy salsa, muy bien! The food literally came out so fast I thought it was for another table so A+ for that. The Don Julio Marg was good enough that I ordered a second one. I really enjoyed the servers as they make you feel at home, which is always a plus when out at a restaurant. The only complaint is that someone forgot to sweep under my table and there was a whole tortilla and several ketchup packets under there (obviously someone with a child before me) and some other trash. I would definitely visit this place again when I’m in Altoona.

“Highly recommend Tequila Mexican restaurant! It had been a long day with my kiddos and we had just picked up my husband from the airport so we wanted to dine out instead of having to make anything. I was craving Mexican and my husband found Tequila Mexican Restaurant was near us and family friendly. When they say family friendly, they were not kidding. I had a total mom fail and didn’t think about my 2 month old being cranky after getting shots today. When we finished ordering, the tears started and when I finally settled him, our food came. The woman greeting customers came and asked if she could hold him so that I could eat while my husband tackled our toddler. You guys! She held, rocked, and even offered to feed him so that we could eat. The customer service was well beyond exceptional and I will forever remember the woman who helped us! Also, their food and margaritas were delicious!!! Give them your service, they deserve it!!!“

“Tasty Tacos is surely one of my favorite hometown restaurants. My go-to is the original beef flour taco and the cheese enchilada with shredded lettuce on top. I absolutely LOVE their hot sauce and always keep extra in my own fridge. If I run low, it's a must-have and a guaranteed purchase to keep stocked. Customer service has always been welcoming here. I don't recall ever having bad service. In the past years, I have mentioned to them that the filling was less, but it has always been plentiful since.“

“My favorite spot in Ankeny thus far, a great combination of excellent customer service, superb food, and great pricing. Drive-thru was available, but I craved a breakfast burrito, and this place completely nailed! Noah made me the most delicious bacon and egg burrito with rice and beans inside, and it was spectacular. Highlight is their 12-option salsa bar, and they mark it so well that I sampled 10 of them! Divey and I like it!!!“

“Absolutely delicious !The presentation and aroma...the singe on the asada...the chorizo along with Verde and Rojo sauce absolutely ?I will 100% be back !I always like to start off with the carne asada tacos because if you can't get that right than I don't wanna do business. I always go at least on sauced up and one as is and all was delicious!!Something a little different is the cheese on these. “Couldn't have asked for better service considering I showed up 20 min before they closed, which might I add they closed at 9:30 on a Saturday & will discuss below. Food was delicious and hot no complaints with quantity or quality chips and salsa included. The corn shells were so fresh & warm I could have eaten the shells alone for my dinner. The seven seas soup was superb even though it contained only quarter size piece of fish. here are the few reasons I feel the need for 3 stars. First closing hrs are 9:30pm on a Sat.? Why so early?
Secondly, the parking lot feels unsafe as it seems there's a lot going on with all the businesses & traffic on the property. So not family friendly in the evenings.
Lastly, Environment inside was very noisy and rather busy. So not a place to wind down & have a drink at least not 20 min. before closing time (I can only base off the time I spent at the est.)
The food was so good I will def. return & recommend.“

“I had a lovely outdoor lunch with my 7 year old. The patio was nice. The food was very delicious! I heard some people complain online about the nachos but to me they seemed like a thicker almost homemade texture. So there is less crisp but still a delicious flavor. My daughter gobbled up nearly all of them.

Clean building, a modern and inviting appearance on the outside, parking is great. And it doesn't stop there! The inside was not only clean, and the tidiest I've seen but I must say, out of all our local Hispanic grocery stores 'La Favorita' STILL maintains the highest level of service to date. Where the smiling faces, and sincere friendliness to both Spanish and English speakers make this truly a five star rating. As you can imagine the prices and quality of their meat and produce are definitely worth a shout out. Easy to remember name La Favorita. Can you imagine having them cater? I looked them up and they even deliver!“
