“This is a small little resturant. We always get the steak and it's in my opinion the juiciest I have ever eaten. The salad bar is small but it's always fresh. The wait staff are very pleasant and you can tell they enjoy working there.“

Stopped in for a late lunch with a friend. Everything on the menu sounded great of course but we went with the recommend hand battered fried mushrooms. Clearly not a frozen product and it was absolutely made from scratch. The batter was light and crispy. Came with ranch to dip. Huge portion and the two of us didn't come close to finishing because we needed to save room for pizza. We opted for the small "White Lightening". Thin buttery crust, pesto sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian sausage and artichoke hearts. If this was a small, I can't imagine the size of the medium and large. Great place to bring a crowd! Lively atmosphere with retro biker, vinyl, and rocker memorabilia.“
“Late to addition, but I visited this location during the 2023 DGPT event that was in town.I came in here by myself for a dinner and to check out a new pizza shop.I ordered and took a seat. No issues trying to get order placed and find a seat. Was a busy night and quite a few ppl inside.Not the longest wait by any means and everyone was friendly. When I got the pie itself I was disappointed with the quality of how it was made.As can see the cheese was over the crust and was burnt to have crispy cheese instead of oozing pizza.The taste was alright, but I will be trying other pizzeria the next time I come through town.Maybe a great local spot when an event isn’t in town. But, I will make other choices for food next time in the area.Again sorry for late reply, but but still doesn’t effect the quality of food I received“
“Food was great. Got a family size half cowboy pizza with added green onion and half murphy special. Brought home and cooked immediately. Followed instructions on the sheet folded into the plastic on the pizza. Crust was great and crispy, toppings were fresh and there was plenty of cheese. “We love this place and go often. The crab Rangoon pizza is ?and usually my go to. My husband loves the stromboli. I've also tried their pastas and they're great too. It's usually very busy, but the staff is always friendly and makes sure you're taken care of. They also do to-go orders.“

“Pizza is really good but be warned, do NOT try to use the online ordering system! It doesn't work right with the 1st half / 2nd half pizza toppings. Just call in your order instead and everything should be fine. Staff was kind enough to remake my order correctly so it all worked out.“

“Small hole in the wall restaurant. At first look, you wouldn't think anything of it. Upon walking in, it's a smaller space but welcoming. And the bar tender was very prompt and helpful with ordering. They said 25 minutes for our large Crab Rangoon Pizza and cheesecake egg rolls. We walked around the neighborhood and returned 25 minutes later to our food coming right out the kitchen. Too bad this place is in Des Moines, we are from DFW and would love to eat here again.The pizza was just as good cold as it was hot.“

This is definitely a neighborhood bar - as several other patrons / regulars asked us how we liked our drinks and dinners. Granted, the area looks a little on the rough side as you pull up but the service and food were both great - all handled by one lady behind the bar. On the recommendation of another patron, we started out with Bloody Marys with pickle vodka and I highly recommend them - not too salty or thick. For our meals, my wife ordered the Italian Beef (see picture) and I went with the Chicago Dog (see picture). As always, we each shared tastes and found both dishes to be very good. Our neighbors ordered the Italian Beef with Cheese (see picture) and Chili Dog (see picture) - and both of them thought they tasted great, commenting especially about how good the chili was. “While on a recent trip to Des Moines I found myself getting a serious case of the munchies and only an ooey, gooey pizza would work. I ran across Scornovacca's on Uber Eats so did what anybody else would do and went to Yelp to check out the reviews. I was a little disappointed that it only had 3.5 stars so I decided to read the reviews. For the most part people were thrilled with their pizza. It was the complainers who brought down what should be a much higher rating!! I can only imagine how good this pizza would have been in the restaurant because it was amazing at my hotel. We got one with all the meats and had some fresh mozzarella added for good measure. Delicious!!!“
“Paul reveres is my favorite! I can't say enough good things about Paul reveres pizza! They have the best pizza and breadsticks I've ever had! The staff is wonderful and friendly! They treat customers with respect and make their food fresh and to perfection every time! I wish Paul reveres nothing but much success!! I can't understand why their aren't multiple locations every where! Paul reveres deserves an award for the best pizza and best service!!!! “Absolutely DELICIOUS!! We normally are not in DSM during work week, however with spring break today we went to walk skywalks and decided to check it out. My fiancé had a piece of pizza and I had a bite of the crust…and ended up eating his leftovers as the crust was PERFECT! “It was a beautiful Tuesday evening and we wanted to go for a short drive. After looking at a few options, we saw the pictures of Johnny and Mike's Pizza and thought we would stop by if it looked like a good place to hang out once we got there. Not to worry, the pizza place is inside of a nice sports bar right across from the Carlisle sports complex. They had one topping pizzas on sale for $10 which is a screaming good deal and also a good excuse to have a beer or two and a great evening. The pizza was a great example of Des Moines classic style, thin crust, very crispy, great sauce, and plenty of toppings. We bought an extra to take home for others. In addition to the single topping pizzas, we tried a specialty "Timmy's" with grinder, sausage, capicola and roasted peppers. The onion rings were thin, hot and crispy. The parm dressing was spot on. We'll be back.“
