“We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!“

“Both the ladies in the Chrome Cafe was very professional, courteous, friendly, & with great attitude. And my order was done in a fast & timely manner that I didn't even get comfortable in my seat to wait for the order to be done. Will definitely come back to see them two again. “Everything about this place is amazing. I have been coming here for more than 5 years. The owners are amazing, as well as the workers. They love what they do and care about all of their customers.

Not to mention the shakes and teas are amazing. They have lots of rewards and fun things they do (raffles, stamp rewards, gifts, etc.)

Nice selection of kava, coffee, smoothies, Gelato, lunch, and more. The Gelato flights they were bringing out look fantastic.

I had the mushroom cacao coffee with lions mane mushrooms. You have your choice of 5 different species of mushroom, and the menu explains the benefits. Anyway- delicious.

My sister had a coffee. LOL! She said it was good. Total for both drinks $13 before tip.

Loved all the plants and the fireplace area.

The gal taking orders wasn't having a great day I don't think. But that won't stop me from going again.

“I want to give a shout out to Early Birds restaurant in West Des Moines. Kevin was a fantastic bartender. First time I have been here. The food was amazing. I love the atmosphere. The whole concept is great. The menu… too many things to choose from. I got the Cinnamon roll French toast. Delicious. And the Hashbrown holes delicious. It was great to get an appetizer before my French toast. I have to give a shout out to Kevin as he knows everything on the menu plus he has great suggestions for drinks from the bar! “HyVee is a friendly Midwest grocery store chain. They typically have the freshest produce of anu grocery store, and the best selection. Their focus may not always be on the lowest prices, but they have a better selection and higher quality product than some cheaper stores. They're not overpriced, just maybe not the lowest. I find them to be a good value for quality and money. Staff is always friendly!“
