“We were in Des Moines for a soccer tournament and ran across you guys. I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and you guys made hands down the best GF burger and tots I have had in 3 years. They took my inspiration pictures and executed beyond belief. The cake was incredible to eat and to look at. We were speechless. Their breakfast potatoes were to die for and I don’t do hash browns usually. Chelsey S was a top of the line server. The only minor complaint was the hostess didn’t know if they served Pepsi or Coke products. Just seemed odd her not knowing. I would hands down recommend this for a breakfast place.“

“True Authentic Ethiopian food. The owner, Bashatu, is so sweet and friendly, and utterly wonderful to talk with. We had never been there before and was just in town visiting, so we stopped and couldn't have been happier about it. She welcomed us in from the start. Probably one of the best restaurant experiences for me. The food was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I both just got beef and goat tibs, and they are done so well. Chef kiss, Muah! “The atmosphere of The Breakfast Club was elite! I loved the colorful decor and the music was great! It was a little hot in there but July in Iowa and a busy place I’m sure the air was struggling to keep up! I had the breakfast poutine and it was amazing! Bacon, gravy, and cheese curds are my favorite food groups so I was happy! My aunt had the breakfast tacos which were delicious as well! The portions were huge so we even had leftovers! Our waitress Jen was wonderful! Super attentive and friendly! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back!“

It was great to get an appetizer before my French toast. I have to give a shout out to Kevin as he knows everything on the menu plus he has great suggestions for drinks from the bar! Coffee lovers this is the place. Often but not always they offer some delectable baked goods. The interior is designed like a modern art gallery it actually feels like you've stepped into a sophisticated minimal but rustic museum, in fact there's abstract art and photography on the walls throughout the location. The cooks are on full display as they work as well, if you choose to sit at the kitchen bar or dining area the open kitchen bar design allows you to watch as they meticulously craft your dish. This place is impressive. Highly recommend!“
