“First, the food is DELICIOUS! They have a lot more flavors of chicken available than some other K.F.C. restaurants. The tteokbokki offers more flavors & add in’s as well. You can tell the company really cares about their food quality and customer satisfaction-eg they have steam vents built into the containers and the keep your to-go order propped slightly open until you pick up your order all so that your chicken remains crispy, rather than getting soggy waiting in a closed container! The staff are always very polite & conscientious. LOVE THIS PLACE!“

The combo sandwich with brisket and pork, is phenomenal. The Porkys Beans with brisket, left me speechless. Outstanding customer service to go along with the great taste. Bring your appetite and still expect to take home leftovers. Classic menu of steaks, chops, sandwiches and top notch BBQ. This will be a mainstay for us moving forward. “A small, korean BBQ restaurant in a strip mall on Mt Prospect. We were greeting right away and sat at your table. The tables are separated and private from others. The servers was attentive and took our order quickly. Bottled water is sevred with every meal. We ordered the meat and seafood combo ( steak, chicken, shrimp, and squid) which it comes with a lot of meat. You get a dumping soup that was very filling. The meat is very well seasoned and cooks nicely on the grill. The side dishs were very good. I didnwish they had korean potatoe salad as one of the sode doshes. At the end they also give you ice cream bars. The food and service were amazing. The only negative thing I can say is that it does get smokey inside the restaurant. I definitely recommend coming here and will visit again myself.“

A friend who has done takeaway with them previously said that their kimchi fried rice was the best they’ve had, so I’ll try that next time. My order was ready to go at the time promised. “A mix of a rotisserie chicken place and a Mexican restaurant. Got a whole chicken and sides. The chicken had very good flavor and smoke. It was a little dry as if it was kept in the heating box for a while or just overcooked a bit. The sides were not memorable. I’d go back again and just skip the sides. The Mexican food looked good.“

We arrived around noon and surprisingly had the place to ourselves, which made the atmosphere calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background. My friend ordered the beef bulgogi while I went for the galbi soup—both were absolutely delicious and tasted so authentic that I still find myself thinking about it today. 😭 No Korean spot where I live even comes close to matching it!
The sweet lady who served us went above and beyond, even making a special dipping sauce for our chicken wings that came plain (not pictured).
