“I'm not one to usually write reviews, especially of fast food places, however, my experience at Dunkin this morning was a special one. I regret that I didn't get my cashier's name, but she was working this morning, and probably couldn't have known this was my first time in public presenting feminine, as I'm trans.I got up to the counter, she smiled at me and said "I LOVE your shirt." This simple compliment has shaped my attitude for the day, I can't stop smiling, PLUS the coffee and donut really hit the spot.To that cashier, you absolutely made a trans girl feel like her best self this morning, and there's not enough words I can share to thank you for that gift.“

“The nicest people work at this location! I've driven a little out of my way late at night after work to go to this one because of the employees. “Best Apple fritter ever! We try to get donuts at least once a month, if not more if I'm honest. I only want Fresh Donuts. Apple fritters, blueberry cake, strawberry frosted. Their icing is super sweet but also flavorful. My daughter loves that she can also get a strawberry milk. (From the cooler) Their breakfast sandwiches are also something not to be missed. “This place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. The setup is great, loved the post it note wall.The owner was super friendly & welcoming. He said he’d been in business one year, hope he has many more years of success. He has a great shop.Dietary restrictions: I’m soy & dairy intolerant & there were plenty of options on the menu for me to enjoy.“

“Neighbor family here and we’ve been multiple times during the soft opening and have loved it! My son and I love the brown sugar tea. And my little one can’t get enough of the donuts. They’re not your typical donut so don’t expect that. They’re sooo much better. They are a bit pricy but that’s expected: donuts are hand rolled! Totally plan on returning multiple times! “We love this bakery. Their donuts are amazing, creative, and unique. Their cake is amazing too. We ordered a wedding celebration cake. It was beautiful. I'm so happy we ordered here.We ordered a chocolate cake with white frosting and strawberry frosting inside. The cake is light and the frosting too. It all went so well together. The strawberry flavored frosting was also great.People ordering here need to know this story. We ordered a cake here for my Dad and now step mom who just recently eloped. We wanted to do something to celebrate when they got back so we got cake from here. I walked in and picked it up. I looked at it and at first glance the writing looked good. Then when I got home, well, I realized they misspelled our name. Common mistake, our name is unusually long. I called them and told them our situation and they were apologetic, and owned the issue to the point that they actually drove out with their frosting and utensils and rewrote the cake. ?. The bakers here have big hearts and we can't thank them enough.“

“I was driving through downtown St. Charles early last week when my eye caught this one of a kind Donut joint and I had to make a stop to check it out. Since this was my first time here, I had to try couple of stuff. With the help of one of the nicest employees Mari, I ended up getting some Donuts and a sandwich to go. The food tasted great. I was a little confused by the ordering system for a half dozen/full dozen, but just selected full dozen and added the donuts I wanted in the comment section. The order was ready when I got there, and all the donuts were delicious. Loved the Boston and Bavarian cream, as well as the long johns and buttermilk donut. Donuts are a good size and they put a good amount of filling in the filled donuts. Will be back for sure to try the others!“

“The employee (young lady) you have working the store right this very moment ( Saturday, July 15th at 5:33pm) needs help with customer service. We walked in the empty store to spend money and she did not greet us. Also, when we inquired about whether the store had muffins her response was (with a nasty attitude) "whatever is in there." Needless to say we left without spending a dime. Please train your staff better.“

“Employee jake at this location was really have bad attitude towards me and telling me to shut up because he ask if i called for my 3 box joe coffee and i said yes and i show him the number i called.i buy coffee all time for my employees this location and the maneger and other staff or employees are very nice but this seems to have attitude problem“

“I was told about this new bakery by a friend so I decided to investigate. I was so pleased with all the goods I bought from donuts to danishes to kolacky to bread. So delicious, packaged beautifully and the staff member that attended to me was very knowledgeable about all the items. She was kind enough to share with me her favorites and because of her seeming integrity, knowledge and friendliness, I bought her recommendation. A great addition to Elgin and bakeries.“

The coffee was from a machine kind of gas station style, which is fine, I just didn't realize that at first. The soughdough breakfast sandwich I had with my choice of turkey sausage was decent. The avocado toast that I also had was made well, but the guacamole was a bit too cold on the toast which made the toast seem cold. Undoubtedly Dunkin probably keeps a redimade avocado mash / guacamole refrigerated until use; yet I believe if you are going to make exceptional avocado toast, you need to mash the avocado at room temperature, use the right spices, and immediately serve it on newly made extra warm toast.The vanilla cold brew with sweet foam was decent and the vanilla flavored cold brew coffee thankfully did not any extra sugary sweetness to the drink.“
