“We had dinner here this past Tuesday evening. Our server was beyond awesome! I have a gluten allergy and I appreciate Fridays offering a gluten free bun option, my burger was cooked perfect and was delicious! I only wish I lived close as we were staying next door at the Hyatt since my kids were flying out to return to college. Definitely would recommend and will return if I’m back in the area!“

“Favorite food for the last 70yrs has been sloppy joes. When White Castle came out with them, I was in heaven! They seems to be selling quite good in the Midwest. Instead of a limited time, why not make them a permanent on the menu? I eat them about 5 times a week at my local white castle. Keep up the good work!“

“Listen, this was a very great restaurant, I’m shocked that it’s not getting more buzz! You all should come down and try out their rodeo cheeseballs which are packed with lots of flavor, and if you want chicken tryout their Dubai chicken sandwich, they put it on this really great tasting bread from Dubai. Don’t want to eat a ton of carbs? That’s alright try their Flying Dutchman burger without the shame or guilt of not leaving here without a meal! “Came here for the first time for dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Everything you want from a diner: unpretentious, breakfast classics (available all day) that are delicious and priced right. Leo was on point with the food and service! I enjoyed sitting at the bar and being able to watch him work his magic. The burgers he was cooking up for his other customers looked fabulous. Definitely coming back!“

“We came here for lunch a few days ago unplanned after doing some work Resolution. I’m glad we did!!

We had a few dogs and I tried their gravy bucket which was amazing. Yes it was 90 degrees the other day but whatever, it was fire. Chili and Tamale in a cup. Super. The dogs were tasty and the fries were crispy.

The staff were friendly and the seating has a few booths. My big hang up was parking. It was limited on a Wednesday afternoon at 1p.

“Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we're recommended by staff and were terrific.

“This is hands down our favorite restaurant. We eat here at least twice a week, and the consistency is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. The service is warm, efficient, and always welcoming. The chicken skewers are outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right every time. They are flavorful without being heavy, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The Greek salad is equally impressive. Crisp vegetables, generous feta, balanced dressing, and always fresh. It is simple, but done exceptionally well. When a restaurant can deliver this level of quality consistently multiple times a week, that says everything. We highly recommend it.“

“What a great find! The fries alone make this a 5 star stop. Fresh cut, but seasoned with incredible flavor. The burger was delicious- smashed and juicy. I opted to try their “craft sauce,” even though I am not usually a fan of special sauces. It was more flavorful and spicy than a typical special sauce. The burger was so good, though, it didn’t need the sauce. Perfect food for after a show at Thalia Hall.

“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

I found it looking for smash burgers but I wouldn't call this a smash burger per se as you don't get those crispy flattened-out edges. What you do get is a perfectly balanced classic diner style burger but somehow elevated. I recommend ordering it as-is. They've put some thought into how the elements (high quality beef, pickles, 'tamed' jalepenos, secret sauce) work together and it was all I could do not to order a second one.“
