“This place has some of the best boba I’ve had. The drinks taste fresh and balanced, and they are not overly sweet. The tapioca pearls are soft and chewy, which makes the drink even better. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick, even when it gets busy. The shop is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe. You can really tell the owner takes pride in the store and cares about the quality and customer experience. My favorite drink here is the green tea mango boba. It’s refreshing and full of flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like fruity drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

I love this place because everything I order is made with carefully crafted flavors and texture—down to the salsa served on the side of burrito. It was homemade and fresh—not jarred. Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.”

We were greeted upon walking in and the vibe just felt more welcoming than the other place. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Definitely coming back here from now on because they have turkey sausage to sub for pork for those who don't eat pork like my husband.”

We turned to Busy Body Meals because of the variety, and the food is just flat out good. Small changes over time add up. This one’s been a good one for our family.”

We knew we wanted to try a local coffee shop while we were in town so we stopped into Longstory Coffee for it's great reviews and unique location in a renovated 1800's train depot. The atmosphere was incredible and the coffee was better. I ordered a pour over that was exceptional and my husband ordered the mocha. It was one of the best he's had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Illinois. It was very reminiscent of the coffee we get over at the farmers market in New Jersey. Also, Carla B's BBQ Breakfast Burrito is the best thing I've ever had for brunch. Thanks for having us!”

When I go there and have been for several years now my food is great more than you can eat they know what and how i like my Bloody Maria's and my Margaritas. I ordered a chicken in Chinese vegetables, combo platter, and a Mei Fun House Special. He questioned what the house special was. I already knew this wasn’t going to go well. He didn’t speak clear English to take orders. My order comes & as I sit down to eat my order of the Mei fun wasn’t that at all. It was in a small carton, Lo Mein noodles in a gravy for $10. I called to complain & he told me I could return it. I am a handicapped individual, that is why I called for delivery. They need to train this individual how to take orders & better handle customer service. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card, very disappointed. Some advice, they have an American guy doing deliveries,,maybe they should consider having him taking orders & the guy currently taking calls to the deliveries.”

We aren't drinkers so I can't speak to the taste of the cocktails but the glasses that passed our table were beautifully done, you can tell there is a lot of pride and skill that goes into the drink menu. We were greeted warmly by friendly faces and genuine smiles, the music was just the right level, I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. We will definitely be returning!”

We were given 6 apple slices total, half a cup of caramel and TONS of toppings…not at all like was pictured quantity wise. Sliders were very bland, no jalapeño’s on top as pictured, and our cider was not very cold. I would recommend eating elsewhere for the cost.”

Based on the reviews, and wanting to try something different than a big chain restaurant, we made a point of making the Erkert's -Belleville Country Restaurant our stop for breakfast on the way north on 8/6/2023. Such a wonderful meal! We had a sassy server, whom we loved, and she was very attentive as we enjoyed breakfast there. Food was delicious and the apple butter... OMG! The best I've ever had. We had to buy a jar of it before leaving. :) I wish we had more time to explore the complex, but based on this visit, we wouldn't hesitate to be a repeat customer.”

“Travelled from New Jersey for a wedding in Belleville. We knew we wanted to try a local coffee shop while we were in town so we stopped into Longstory Coffee for it's great reviews and unique location in a renovated 1800's train depot. The atmosphere was incredible and the coffee was better. I ordered a pour over that was exceptional and my husband ordered the mocha. It was one of the best he's had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Illinois. It was very reminiscent of the coffee we get over at the farmers market in New Jersey. Also, Carla B's BBQ Breakfast Burrito is the best thing I've ever had for brunch. Thanks for having us!”

The facility was clean, and interesting to the eye!! My food was beautifully cooked!! I'm disabled, and did not have to wait long to be seated, and served. The entire staff on this day was friendly, and professional!!! Causing me to want to come in the future!!! I will also tell my family, and friends about my wonderful experience. “I like that i can get a quick meal before I go to work. Sometimes it's a hit or miss on the food sometimes I get fresh fries and sometimes they or cold and old. When I asked for cheese on my chicken sandwich it's not on there so I have to wait back in line to get the right sandwich.”

“We came in for pasta night. Everything was fresh, MORE than enough food, a dessert was included and the atmosphere was top notch. We aren't drinkers so I can't speak to the taste of the cocktails but the glasses that passed our table were beautifully done, you can tell there is a lot of pride and skill that goes into the drink menu. We were greeted warmly by friendly faces and genuine smiles, the music was just the right level, I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. We will definitely be returning!”

“This place has some of the best boba I’ve had. The drinks taste fresh and balanced, and they are not overly sweet. The tapioca pearls are soft and chewy, which makes the drink even better. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick, even when it gets busy. The shop is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe. You can really tell the owner takes pride in the store and cares about the quality and customer experience. My favorite drink here is the green tea mango boba. It’s refreshing and full of flavor. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you like fruity drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

I went on karaoke night, Tuesday, with DJ J-Nelz. I had a lot of fun Drink specials for my friends who drink (while I have something non-alcoholic). Prompt, friendly service from a bartender who has some pipes!

“My kids loved the ice cream!! And idk how people do this, it’s such a gift but the owners are the kind of people that make you feel like you made a new friend after only knowing them for 20 minutes. The owner prayed for my family and made my kids feel so welcome. Even “the favorite customer” was friendly and fun to talk too. Thank you for making our day!!!!!!!
