“Yesterday was my first time visiting this location, and overall I had a really good experience 😊 The food was super delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were very generous - definitely more than enough to feel satisfied 🍽️👌 I’ll absolutely be coming back again!
One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.
Aside from that little confusion, everything else was great, and I still really enjoyed my visit 🙌✨“

“This place is truly one of the best spots for Mexican food 🌮😋! I tried a steak burrito and some steak tacos, and the flavor of the steak was amazing 🤤. Portions were generous, and even though I got my order to go 🥡, the restaurant itself is small, cozy, and super clean ✨. I loved the cute decorations and the overall vibe 🪴🎨. Definitely a must-visit if you’re on the Southside 👍. I’ll absolutely be coming back soon!“

“Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.“

“We hired them for a graduation party 🎓🎉, and they were absolutely amazing to work with! From the start, they were kind, helpful, and super easy to communicate with 🤝😊. During the event, their energy was great they were not only professional but also fun to be around, which really added to the overall atmosphere of the celebration 🎈✨.
Everything went smoothly thanks to their support, and they made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of the whole time 🙌. It’s not always easy to find people who are both organized and genuinely enjoyable to work with, but they definitely delivered on both.

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“
“We ended up at this place by chance with 6 of us, ranging from teens to a grandma. All of us loved it. The tacos were really delicious. Grandma felt that the guacamole was too salty so the owner came out and apologized, made her a fresh batch to her liking AND removed it from the bill. Both food and service were top notch. The atmosphere was super fun and lively too.“

“Ms. Payten the owner was sooooooo SWEET to my sister and I. It was a slow evening & the DJ was about to pack up, but bc we reserved a table (which she refunded as well with no problem bc we were about to leave) and came out to have a good time, she made the DJ stay for us , gave us free shots, & let the party continue just for us. She wanted to MAKE SURE we had a good time, & A TIME WAS HAD!!! I’ll definitely be back for the steppers set night on Thursdays! All of the staff was really nice and polite as well! This black own business is ran WITH INTEGRITY, PROFESSIONALISM, & MOST IMPORTANT LOVE!! THIS IS THE SPOT TO COME TO ALL SUMMER 2025!!! “Trust me and come here! This was our weekly go to spot back when we lived in Hyde Park. Great portion sizes and tasty meat. The burrito dinner is my favorite and comes with the best fries. Today, I tried the tacos and enjoyed them the lake. Great horchata too. It’s family owned and they deserve good business, so bring people and grab food from here before you head over to the lake this summer!“

“This place tacos are little but they are good. The wait time is disgustingly looooonnggg I went through the drive through and I was waiting 25 minutes just for two tacos. People started to pull off. The lady at the window was nasty. No customers service skills what so ever. She wants me to tap my card after waiting dang near 30 mins in the drive through line without confirming my order to me. These bite size tacos isn’t worth it.“
