“Went last night reserved a party of 6 but another friend showed up and Anthony the owner accommodated us. We ordered half the menu including the star of the show being the tomahawk steak. We shared all items buffet style sampling all dishes. Everything was excellent and everyone in the party was thoroughly impressed!“

“I remember you Laura. You and your partner walked in while we were super busy. Maybe you didn't notice our heads down in the well making cocktail after cocktail after cocktail for the numerous satisfied guests. Each cocktail takes several minutes to construct. Our other guests seemed fine with the wait. While you seem more content with being a keyboard warrior. Service is something we take great pride in Laura, your lack of patience could really use some work. Oh, the elevator situated right next to the stairs may have helped get you up and down, sorry you didn't see it.“

“We are fairly frequent diners to the Phoenix and always appreciate their weekly menu specials. This week was a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye with a whole grain mustard - and it did not disappoint! We also shared the grilled artichokes appetizer (always delish!) and the creamy cauliflower soup. Our server was fabulous and attentive as well. We will be back again soon!“

“Stayed at the doubletree hotel and was very pleasantly surprised how great the food was at Osteria Italian restaurant. We dined here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. Julio our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Made our first evening at the restaurant memorable. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and Caesar salad. It was wonderful. I had plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to enjoy the other half when I get home. My husband ordered rigatoni with chicken and the soup of the day. He had plenty left over for another meal also. Had two Tiramisu martinis and unfortunately ran out of room for dessert. The second night we sat in the bar for happy hour. Joey, the manager remembered us and made us feel like we were friends dining at his home. Handsome gentleman and incredibly friendly. Tony the bartender managed a full bar of people yet was very available to take our order. Happy hour is a great deal with $7 martinis and affordable large appetizers. Luckily we saved room to share a piece of Tiramisu. Absolutely divine. Can’t wait for our next visit to Chicago to dine here again. Highly recommended.“

“Barrelman's Room is my go-to place on a Friday or Saturday night when I want delicious cocktails and cozy ambiance so I can actually talk to my friends & hear each other. It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“Food and service are both excellent. Greeted with a smile, food is made to order, so no microwaved dish......I had chicken/shrimp fajitas the first visit and they were DELICIOUS!! Went back second time with a relative, got the shrimp diablo......should have taken the server's advice about the heat, but I didn't, therefore I suffered 🥲 the consequence......she was awesome though and had the heat taken down for me. Owner came out to greet guests and was super sweet. This place is a hidden jewel that has some of the best Mexican food in the area. I would say take my word for it, but being that you probably don't know me, don't take my word for it, go try it for yourself!!“

“We had a great experience at Wok’d in downtown Lemont. The service was attentive and friendly, and our food came out quickly. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the vegetables were vibrant and crisp (not soggy and sad like you sometimes get at other places).

It was refreshing to find dishes that felt light and ingredient-driven. Instead of relying on heavy sauces or overly processed flavors like some spots do, Wok’d focuses on fresh vegetables and well-balanced seasoning.

Even the fried crab rangoon felt surprisingly light and not weighed down with oil, and we loved that they actually use real crab in them. The dishes were well seasoned and flavorful without going overboard.

A really enjoyable meal and we’ll definitely be back! An awesome addition to the culinary line up here in town!“

I informed our waitress about my condition, Hypoglycemia, which is characterized by low blood sugar; at that moment, my blood sugar was 57. I requested that our food be brought out promptly. The beverages we chose were quite refreshing. I selected a shrimp cocktail with extra avocado for my meal, while my husband opted for a steak burrito. The food was delivered to our table quickly, and we found everything fresh and flavorful. The service we received was exceptional, and we greatly appreciated the attentiveness of our outstanding waitress.“

“We went in for the first time for their Halloween Pop up event the vibes were great. Bartender was really nice. Food was decent. Definitely overpriced. I was disappointed we were looking forward to try the Ghost face margarita and after receiving our drinks we noticed it was missing the raspberry fig foam and bartender said their foam maker wasn’t working.“

“I visited Buttermilk Cafe for the first time today for breakfast. I am working in Carol Stream and staying at the Hamilton Suites. I decided to try Buttermilk Cafe this morning as a change from the hotel breakfast. They did not disappoint. I had the blackberry brie French toast. Oh my goodness, it was SO delicious. I added the pure maple syrup for a nominal additional charge ($1.79). But it really didn't need syrup. My server, Matilde, was attentive and very nice. I would definitely eat here again when in town.“

“It's as expected for a hotel with not many options around. Would recommend liquor over wine. You don't have to do what's on the menu as per usual. And bartender super sweet. Waitresses super laid back & kind as well. So for that alone, 4 stars. Just wish the food was equally as good as the service.“

From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well. “Decent bar food! Hizemans located in Naperville was a nice place for lunchtime! Rather for the locals, family, large crowds or newbies! Plenty of seating and very much spacious. Along with flat screen tvs that decorated the entire bar! You can tell this place be LIT for all the games! Our server was named Max. He was very attentive and pretty much laid back! His politeness and aura was amazing!. Customer service to the MAX! Haha! He greeted and seated our table right away. And took out orders which took no time to served our table. We ordered the BBQ boneless wings for starters. And for our entrees we order the elote dog, Philly, grilled cheese for the kid and the famous Hizeman smashed burger with two patties! Everything was good. Kid enjoyed her grilled cheese soft and cheesy! As it should be! My Philly and dog was delightful. I was craving a beef dog and the Philly sounded great! Burger was juicy, cheesy and the flavors were making my taste buds do the Macarena! Hahah! The Hizeman burger was a HIT! ! Great job chef! Simple menu and rocked the table! Always great to have a simple meal with no issues. The vibe was very much a bar scene with BOMB energy! Conversations left and right, a competitive environment with laughter and memories and bets to be made or broken!! Check em out!“
