They no longer sell boba here, it's just a slots place and I'm guessing a bar. The lady there just asked us if we were there for boba and told us to go to the Thai restaurant (Bodhi).

So I stumbled across this place back in May before they had their grand opening. I don't think they were actually quite opened just yet but the staff was nice enough to let me and my sister in and order. Unfortunately they didn't have any boba that day lol but I didn't miss it at all. I was so happy to hear that they only used alternative milk for the drinks since the owners are lactose intolerant. So that right there earns a extra star for me. While I didn't get to try all the options this will be my newest spot to come and enjoy wherever I need a boba fix.“

Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Great place to meet for coffee or breakfast, one of the few places in Oak Park that are suitable for a business conversation. So many cafes are too small, too loud, or too inconvenient to get to/park. It's spacious and has lots of room between tables for privacy. Drink choices are creative. I had the turmeric latte and egg breakfast bowl and it was delicious, very filling and freshly made. It's not a super fast place though, so don't go if you're in a hurry.“

Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. “I came upon this café with my boyfriend a while back and I have to say, its the perfect mom and pop breakfast/lunch café. Located in a quiet quaint strip with ample parking. During the summer they even offer outdoor seating to those that would choose. Mimi is always on top of her customer care and knowledge of the menu. You will never have an empty coffee cup and you will always leave in a better mood because of her warm and bubbly personality. That kind of positivity is contagious! Even on slightly busy days, Mimi and her staff work very hard to learn their customers and welcome them back like family. Its very enjoyable observing how warm the staff is to nrw and returning cutomers. This is my favorite breakfast nook now and I know it will be for you too if you truly appreciate a family home-cooked atmosphere <3“
