We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! “We had a great experience at Penny’s Oak Park. I ordered their version of pho with beef, and it was really good. For my daughter, I got the fried rice and egg noodles from the kids menu, and those were okay. What really stood out was the service. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and especially good with my daughter, which made the experience even better. “My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “The first time I ever visited Ruk, the owner was incredibly nice and offered many recommendations on things to do, sights to see, & places to go as I’m not local to the area. We chatted for a while and I enjoyed the cashew pad Thai I ordered with peanut sauce. Going back year after year, Ruk is a staple for dinner the night I arrive in the city. Always nice to catch up and relax there.“

The Pineapple Fried Rice was absolutely perfect. I also got a side of Peanut Sauce and it was sooo good and a great size for the price. Good portions, great flavor, and very filling. I ordered through DoorDash and the restaurant had the food ready for pickup quickly and it was hot and fresh. All in all I'd say it was a perfect 10 and I will absolutely be ordering from here again! 😊“

Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. Yes it's your standard generic fare but made so much better.Great food, great price. Appreciate these places, the owners care about making something good.“
